As I promised you, today I want to talk about the mysteries of Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci. I wrote two articles earlier about the life of Leonardo da Vinci, so that you can better relate to his artwork. As I said, Da Vinci was a genius throughout history, he wasn't only an artist but also a great scientist. Let us now turn to his mysterious artwork, some of which is still sometimes revealed.
Da Vinci began painting the Mona Lisa in Florence around 1503, and is said to have worked on it until 1519, just before his death. For several years, Da Vinci took this painting with him wherever he went and worked on it. That is why this painting has been constantly changed. Today, this work was examined with X-rays, and it is said that at least 3 other versions of this portrait have been worked on under the present work.
The identity of the woman in this painting known as Mona Lisa has always been debated. And there is a lot of speculation about whom this woman is. Which itself has a separate and very sweet, but long story, which doesn't fit in this regard, maybe one day I told you about the character in this painting.
The work is 500 years old, and today is housed in a separate room in a bulletproof glass frame in the Louvre Museum in Paris. This painting, which is made of poplar wood, has already been acid-sprayed and even thrown stones. Mona Lisa has its own mailbox, which still receives letters and bouquets after 500 years.
Jacquard's mysterious and charming smile is one of the mysterious elements of this painting. It is still a question for everyone whether the girl in the painting is smiling, happy or sad. A professor from Harvard said: "Because of the nature of this painting, the smile is visible when we look at Mona Lisa's eyes".
Some arguments say that Jacquard's smile looks different depending on where we look at the painting. When we look closely, the face has a sensible and thoughtful smile, and if we look at it from a distance, it is as if the portrait has a smile of happiness on its face.
When looking at the Mona Lisa painting, it doesn't matter from which side the viewer looks at the painting, Mona Lisa has a direct and staring look at the viewer from any direction.
Italian experts have discovered a number of letters and numbers in various elements of the painting. On the right eye of the Mona Lisa are the letters "LV", which it may stand for Leonardo da Vinci. The letters "CE" or possibly "B" can be seen in the left eye. The number "72" or the letter "L2" can be seen in the background bridge. These letters aren't visible to the naked eye, and it is not clear what Leonardo intended to include in the painting.
Usually, everyone is so attracted to the charm of Mona Lisa's face so much that they ignore the image behind her. It is questionable for everyone what that bridge with three mysterious arches behind Mona Lisa is. According to the number 72 hidden in the image of the bridge, some believe that this number refers to 1472, when the devastating and catastrophic flood of Bobby river destroyed its bridge.
Some doctors noticed Mona Lisa's strange appearance, such as her complexion, hair loss, and her smile, is because of some hormonal disorders in her body. Another doctor who noticed a small fleshy bulge in the left corner of Mona Lisa's eye, lack of hair on the eyebrows, yellow skin and an enlarged thyroid gland in the neck, attributed to weakness in the facial muscles due to hypothyroidism, which could indicate Gioconda Mona Lisa's strange smile could be due to this problem.
Napoleon Bonaparte is said to have taken the Mona Lisa from the Louvre and taken it to his private bedroom, but it was returned to the Louvre after his exile.
Due to Da Vinci's special skills in the use of color and light, and the movement of the painting brush, which was unique to him, there are still many mysteries inside this painting that no one has been able to decipher yet.
Many of the secrets of this painting remained a mystery with Leonardo's death, and will always remain an undisclosed mystery in the minds of people in different eras. Throughout history, the Mona Lisa portrait has been recognized as a symbol of eternal beauty.
I don't know whether this is true or not but I was told that the woman or Jacquard as you had called her never liked the painting and this made leornado really depressed
