When I was young I find myself in an illiterate and backward environment where boys are exhibiting Ghetto Life of sleeping outside home, drinking recklessly and share fun with opposite sex with reckless abandon.
Many lives of boys and girls are not valued and they find delight in sensual life. Many did not value life. They engage in violent and thuggery activities to the detriment of others residing in the community. They are fondling of taking to fight one another on a flimsy excuses.
The influence of bad elders around the area did not help matters. They help gossips and other social vices to thrive just to acquire instant Recognition. They expose kids to danger by giving them tokens after sending them on illegal errands. These illegal errands range from asking kids to buy cigarettes and alcoholic drinks. When they deliver the errands well ,kids are remunerated for efficient delivery of errands. They are giving Tokens of money. This invariably contributes to ruining of decent life of some kids
Unfortunately , some of these kids turn bad as a result of bad immitation of these bad elders. My early days in life witness many distortions capable of derailing my life. Some streets kids then later turned boys within the environment. Some turned Terror within the environment to the extent that some carrying locally made weapons around to unleash mayhem in the community. When this happens security forces are invited to quench the self-inflicted riots on the environment. It will be recalled that many turn to be vagabonds with poverty-stricken life laced with no value.
Many of these elders prefer to ruin the life of many other children different from their own. They don't live by good examples , in that regards , I later see them as negative encouragers because they know the right direction to put younger ones but intentionally refused to do the right thing at the right time. Many heinous things in our society today may not be unconnected with negative encouragers . They give wrong advice to innocent kids just to fulfill their bad hearts desires. Some innocent girls are taking abroad by cajoling them of good and decent jobs abroad whereas it is all lies. After taking them abroad they now offer them to dogs to have fun with innocent girls. This is a greatest crime against humanity. This is not good for growth and progress of our Community and the nation and even bad for the whole World in general. This is negative effect of Negative encouragers on the society.
However , I must give gratitude to some few positive encouragers who took it upon themselves to put some of us in the right direction. Our Parents of blessed memory took it upon themselves to ensure that we weree separated from bad influencer people who are out to destroy Life of innocent kids. They showed us right moral attitude to life. They made us to understand that there is no alternative to good and decent behaviours anywhere in the World.
It is the right influence of Positive encouragers that made us to be alive today. They prevented us from encountering early and untimely deaths that had sent many ignorant kids to their early graves. To me ,one should exercise restraint from taking advice .
The good and decent positive encouragers made us to be educated and learned today. They gave encouragement to us to go to school to read. We must thank our stars for deeming it fit to attend school to receive education today. We are assets to our community today.

This is based on what the government perceived as bad because the dancer built her career and fame around morally degrading stage acts. This is a timely intervention from the government before innocent Youths start copying and immitating negative encouragers.

Several reasons had been put forward either to justify or nullify the war but my own focus is on casualties so far recorded which could have been averted.
Catastrophic Incident Could Be Averted.
There's no disputing the fact that two wrongs can never make a right and we know for sure that when two Elephants fight , it is the grass that would suffer. That is how they put it in my part of the world. If that is the case , the grass had suffered too much.
God forbids this. Imagine a situation of leaving your house in the morning to take a train to a nearby town , only for you to hear the sound of bombs , that a section of the train in which you are had been bombed . Later on you are been awashed with News of the death of civilians like you. No matter how. You will feel bad and shocked to the bone marrow. The Journey I doubt , it may not be continued. Whatever you may be having in mind for that day cannot be achieved. Sadness and grieve would not be your portion. Definitely , you will feel sad and bad.
JOURNALISTS Of Repute Reportedly Killed. This Could Have been Averted.
Information had it that some Journalists during the course of carrying out their Professional duties , some met their untimely deaths. Let me share one of these sad incident to you.
The above Picture is that of BRENT RENAUD KILLED IN THIS ON-GOING WAR IN UKRAINE.
BRENT RENAUD was killed in Ukraine after Russian Forces opened fire on his vehicle. The 50 Year Old from Arkansas was gathering material for a report about Refugees when his vehicle was hit at a checkpoint in Irpin not far from Ukrainian Capital , Kyiv. May his soul rest in Perfect Peace .
In another development , a Ukrainian Journalist by name YEVHENII SKAUM ,a Camera Operator for the UKRAINIAN TELEVISION CHANNEL was shot in an Ambush during the course of doing his Professional duties.
Another set of People were reportedly Massacred in Bucha during this On-going War.
Then there was a report credited to United Nations that between 13,000 and 13,300 People had been killed so far.
During the Liberation of Dombas , in reference to Luhansk And Donetsk regions ,at least 4 Million People have fled and more than 1,000 Civilians are dead in the Worst Refugee Crisis in Europe since World War 2 .
Without doubt , many human Resources had been lost and displaced from their original homes. They cannot be stable in mind now not until they are finally settled peacefully some where.
Women and Children are the most hit in this War. They are either wantonly killed or scattered away from their loved ones due to the present war. They are highly useful for the World. They cannot be ignored or wished away just like that. Let the appeal of millions of people Worldwide be heeded to without any delay. We cannot continue folding our arms and be watching innocent people dying away just like that. We can find amicable solution to the War. It is not too late to stop. It can be stopped.
Either remotely or otherwise , we can put an end to it. Hearing on the Television Set about the casualties being recorded and reading News about it cannot be classified as Good News to all of us while then are we folding our arms seeing human beings like us being killed like fowls ?

If News filtering in from all corners of the Globe have something to write home about then a way out is coming , at least temporarily.
"European Union has approved an emergency Plan allowing UKRAINIANS to live and work in any of it's 27 Membe States for up to 3 years." This is temporary succour to those who can flee. and relocated to other parts of Europe.
Power Of Diplomacy And Dialogue To De-escalate The War.
Though Reports from the Round Table Discussion Between Russia and Ukraine in Antalya Turkey achieved little success ,it should not be abandoned totally. Experts believed that two warring factions if properly coordinated which Turkey is doing at present would put an end to the War.
Turkey has so far maintained neutrality in this On-going War , she can do a lot more to end this war by still bringing the two sides together. Let other like minds join hands with Turkey to De-escalate this war. Let us put an end to this war and drastically reduce casualties.
Let Brotherly Love Radiate And Continue Unabated.
We are all brothers and sisters. Why are we fighting to the extent of killing our brothers and sisters. Let the love that had been existing between the partners in war continue Unabated.
The Issues Involved , Let Them Be Resolved Diplomatically .
There's no single issue that cannot be resolved Diplomatically. Human Challenges Can be resolved with Human Ingenuity without losing your pride and ego. International Community don't be tired. Let us put an end to this war for the sake of this generation and generation yet unborn.

From The Little That You Have, Take Care Of "OTHERS".
I enjoyed today Sunday , the very first one in the month of April. The atmosphere shines brightly with clear sunlight which had been absenting for some days now. No signs of dark cloud with suspicion of rainfall. After I had left the Church , I have been quite free. That gave me unfettered access to read as many articles as possible on this great platform. Infact , how I hope I have time always to read articles everyday. These articles are wonderfully "Sweet" and encouraging. They are inspirational and contain many life-lessons. I love them.
One of the writers talked about "who do you take care the more , Yourself or Others ". Specifically , it was a highly respected @Princessbusayo that wrote the article in question. The article was interesting and very logical. Some People are disgusting in their approach to giving , even if you give them the "entire" you , they will not appreciate it ,so why can't you use the resources you want to waste on them to take care of yourself. It is true You first. Therefore yourself first , others last. That is how it should be. But the only thing I want to add is that not all others are that bad. These good ones among Others must be taken care of no matter what.
OTHERS that am referring to here should not and cannot be ignored totally. We should take cognisance of the fact that we didn't responsible for our birth. We were given birth to by our Parents. No matter how and from the little that we have we must endeavor as much as possible to give them from it. We must ensure we take care of our Parents. They had at one time or the other spent their fortune on us. By the time money starts coming to WE children we must recognized PAY BACK TIME. We should remember them in our day to day dealings and activities. It is always good and necessary to do so for our parents not minding the quantity or size of the largesse. They are part of OTHERS that should be put in mind. Literally or otherwise , they are part of Us.
The Good name we are bearing today was given to us by others. Others here are also our Parents. In some Religious Circles , when christening of New born baby is done all money collected on that day from the Christening Event is normally given out to Presiding Alfas and Imams present. No single money is given to the Parents who gave a new name to the child. You that is carrying the name around should know that you need to take care of the Parents who issued the name to you. However small. Size does not matter. They deserve to be taken care of. They are part of others that cannot be ignored.
We should not forget that we were educated by others . Our Teachers , Our Religious leaders Our Lecturers , Our Parents ,Our family members whether immediate or distant relations ,They deserve our largesse. They need to be taken care of as the progresses. It is not at the same time , but we need to have it at the back of our minds. Money given to this category of people is not a waste. But using it to show appreciation to them for their contribution towards our lives . They made us educationally. We were sharpened up by them. It is showing of gratitude. It may not be much but we are appreciating them from the little we have.
The respect that we earn possibly in our work place , in our community , in our church , in our school is given to us by OTHERS. Don't forget that if an elderly person send his junior an errand and small money remain as change , one can decide to give it to the junior one for a good job done. The junior one may perceive it that the elderly one is not stingy. From their the elderly one earns respect. Money how little it may be can buy respect. Even in our work place , it is not strange to hear some comments like "Our Boss is good", Our Boss is not Stingy" , This may not be unconnected with your boss Generosity. Be generous from the little that you have to OTHERS at least to some others that respect or give respect to you.
Significance of Taking Care Of Others.
By taking care of others we are spreading the spirit of giving to others through our benevolence. Through giving others may take it as a way of life and imbibe the spirit. The society is better for it. A community where giving is freely done may see themselves as brothers and sisters. Harbouring of ill-feelings and rancours may not have a place in their hearts. Instead of this , spirit of helping others would occupy their minds.
Where taking care of others exist in reality People tend to live peacefully and in harmony. Violence and unwarranted killings , reported cases of Kidnapping , banditry will not be the order of the day in such an environment. The Rich must always have it at the back of their minds that they can only enjoy their wealth satisfactorily only if the Poor are taking care of even if it is a little.
Where Other People In the society ate taking into consideration , especially finding ways of meeting their needs and wants , or possibly set up various endowment fund to give them Entrepreneurial empowerment , however little it may be , can go along way in stopping or reducing crime commission. Commiting Crimes would reduce where others ate taking care of in a little way possible.
Another importance of taking care of Others is that the blessings of God are divinely showers on the Givers. If one is committed to giving things to others without ulterior motives , Givers are blessed beyond expectations and imaginations. The divine blessings are far more important than praises one can get from giving. It is the blessings of God that multiply and enlarge ones coast beyond expectations.
Whatever good you do today comes back to you in millions. It is highly important to have the minds of helping others especially our Parents. They had tirelessly worked to see us becomimg victorious in life. Helping our Parents is tantamount to planting seeds on a rich soil , when we too grow old our own children will take care of us. That is the time of harvest for us. Thanks for reading.

Set Your Eyes On Tomorrow. It Is Next Door.
I give thanks to God Almighty for deeming it fit for giving us the grace to see first Sunday in the month of April 2022. It is not by our power but by His grace . There's a need for us to do a bit of our own contributions to our own life irrespective of the position we may find ourselves. It is good to leave things for God to do but do you know that We ourselves have our own responsibility to execute to make everything to be normal. We are expected to note that we must do good today because if you do good today, we may not receive the Reward instantly. It may be sometimes later. In the same phenomenon , if we do bad today it is definitely has its own reward and we may not receive the Reward instantly , it may be sometimes later.
God has given us the will to use through our own volition. We are expected to exercise our will as we like. That's why many misuse their will anyhow forgotten that there's tomorrow. Whatever good we do today is waiting for us tomorrow. And in the same token , whatever bad we do today is waiting for us tomorrow. Why can't we set our eyes on tomorrow because our tomorrow is longer in duration than our today. Our today expires under 24hours but our tomorrow encompasses our own years on earth with that of our immediate and extended family. That's why we must always be ready to protect our names and that of the family names. Try your best to create good name for yourself. Whatever we do is attached to our names. Who has done this ? It was Peter or Vincent . Your name of the doer will always be attached. For this simple reason , let us endeavor to do good.
When I finished Secondary Education I was residing with a brother of mine in a big city of Lagos not so far from our local Community. I thought everything was okay until one evening when my Brother called me that you are going back to the Village tomorrow. I inquired from him"What had gone wrong sir". He replied "Am tired of you" Tired of me. What have I done wrong ? He replied me in harsh tone. "Nothing". He went on "By August ending ensure all your bags and baggages are packed out of my house and go back to the Village.". I did not utter a word hoping that by evening or tomorrow he would have changed his mind. I was wrong. The second day I went to have deep conversation with him and reminded him that I had applied for admission therefore let me know the outcome of this before I could be asked to leave. He remained adamant. He said No. To cut the long story short before the end of August I had left his house. I went to put up with a friend. I spent about two weeks there. Before then , an admission letter came for me but it wasn't the higher Institution I preferred most , well I managed to go. This took me out of the City to another State.
By December of that year , by that time I had used up the first semester and since registered for all the courses in the College of Education. In that December , everybody came home to celebrate Christmas with our Parents , as the Celebration was on , My Dad called me "Here is another Admission Letter for you from Lagos State Polytechnic to come and read "TOWN AND REGIONAL PLANNING ". This Course was more lucrative than the one I was reading. I asked "Who brought the letter., I asked, "Your brother , of course. When I looked through the admission letter it had expired. I didn't say a word. Twenty -five years after, everything had changed. That brother of mine was no more in wealth. The house he was living in Lagos was no more . It has been sold for no reason. He was living in abject poverty. His wife who felt unconcerned and indifferent to what happened died sometimes afterwards. Do you know that up till today did not tell me what actually happened. My offence was never stated. But insinuations went round that it was his wife who created bad impression about me to her husband. That brother of mine died some days after the death of his wife leaving kids to We his relatives that were not cared about.
His eldest daughter called me sometimes many years later to come and be the Chairman of her wedding reception . Apart from that , demanded $1000 from me to support her wedding. What should I do my friends reading this article ? That's tomorrow for you. Set your eyes on tomorrow. Someone whose education doesn't matter to her Daddy. Later invited to preside over her wedding reception. What a life. Tomorrow is next door. Let us do good. Nobody can say what could happen next minute. Set your eyes on tomorrow. You are not gods but human beings with blood. Feel for others.
We should always have it in mind that our tomorrow is next door. Do Good.
I read a story about one Mrs Victoria Gowon, she was a nursing science student at UCH. One day she fell sick, and it was exams period.
She abandoned her treatment, left where she was admitted and was forcing herself to write exams. When the renowned Professor Akinkungbe( former VC of both UI and ABU) was informed, the Prof was angry.
He sent for her and scolded her for taking such risk. "You silly young girl, go back for proper treatment, your health is more important, we'll arrange for your exams later” he said.
The girl was very appreciative, she later got married to the Ex Head of State of Nigeria Lt Col. Yakubu Gowon! One day she was on official visit to the same UCH, and all the management staff including Professor Akinkungbe lined up to welcome the first lady.
As she was greeting them one by one on the line, she got to where Prof Akinkugbe was standing. "Sir, do you remember me?” She asked. "Yes I do your Excellency!”the Prof responded.
“That your silly young girl" the first lady said with excitement.She then knelt down, just as she used to do when she was a student.
Thank you so much sir" The Prof also bowed in respect.
"Welcome your Excellency," he replied.
Only God knows tomorrow.....Please treat everyone with courtesy. Observe boundaries and recognize limits.
For whatsoever you sow, you will reap in abundance. It is very certain.
Nobody in life is greater than tomorrow. Whatever you do today would be attached to your name today and shall be available for everyone to read tomorrow. We are everyday using our hands to write our own history to be ready tomorrow. Do good.
Nobody should see himself as being greater than tomorrow. Everything on life has a day of reckoning if not for you certainly it could be your immediate family members or long distant relative.
I was in a taxi in Abeokuta sometimes last year , I met one elderly man inside the taxi as I was about to pay for the transport fare , the man said I shouldn't pay that he would pay for me.
He went further to tell me that he knew my Dad while alive. He described my Dad as a good man who deserved to be treated well , even his immediate and distant family members. Who knows tomorrow ? Nobody. Set your eyes on tomorrow. It is next door.
