There are a lot of scholarships from the Government that is given to public and private students in our province. Right now, I only have one existing scholarship as it really is not allowed to have more than one. And in that scholarship, they give out stipend, as we don't have to pay for tuition fees anymore.

Wow. Being a DOST scholar means something. And I believe they give out higher amount of money for their scholars. Hehe good luck in saving and I hope my tips will help you. :)

I agree po. Hehe But my point on living beyond your means is actually wasting your money on unimportant things. But if you used your money on something that is important and you need it, that is not considered living beyond your means. Yes, just do your thing and be good always. :)

“living beyond their means“, means that they are spending more money than they can afford. My uncle said that I shouldn’t buy a laptop that I cannot afford which costs 40,000 pesos. My purpose is to spend that high amount for me to use for a long period of time. I am an IT student and I know about computers and what laptop should I choose. That’s why I decided to take on that laptop which offers the best specs and offers the best price where you can also upgrade your storage and ram which will be useful in the near future when your laptop is already loaded with some big files. My point is that sometimes we cannot expect those things and we also need help from others , we also need some more extra money for us to survive and use it for our family or loved ones.

I understand your point. But if that money was used for something that you need as a student, and you know that you can still benefit from it even if the time passes, then you should consider it as an investment. :) I myself have spent more in the middle of pandemic, because I built my own house already. My relatives think it is living beyond my means, but I consider it as a good investment. So in your case, it's just fine. :)

Baka ung Tertiary Education Subsidiary ung sinasabi mo na random picking. Hehe nag'apply din kasi ako doon noon, kaya lang di din ako mapalad na mapili. Kaya nag'apply ulit ako sa ibang scholarship na government din ang pumupundo. Same amount of stipend din. Haha Try mo mag'apply baka meron sa provincial government niyo.

Nakalimutan ko tuloy yun haha di kasi napili kaya wala nakong gana. May scholarship din pero 5 student per barangay lng tpos dami ding estudyanteng college dito pano ko mapipili haha malakas lng ang kapit napipili dito samen haha.

Ayy un lang. Kapit kapit ang labanan. Haha Ipunin mo nalang ung sa daily allowance mo. Kahit maliit, atleast may naiipon. :)
