Its been a 2 to 3 months now or should i say a year since the last time I write a short article or story.
How have you been guys?!..
Lots of thing of things happened to me, ive been transferred to another project by my Boss. It is a new environment, new people to associate with and I'm happy that my Boss given me a salary increase after 1 year and 3months in service at the company. Ive been blessed despite of all the things happened due to this PANDEMIC. Im still happy and blessed, there are lots of people, workers specially bread winner of the family that lost their job in times like this but here I am still working, working hard as a bread winner of the family. I maybe sad a little because Ive got my salary increase after a year of service but ive been trasfer to other project away from where i lived. But still the salary increase is much important for my family.
I know I deserve it; Ive waited long enough to earn the trust of my boss, given back my loyalty and being a good workers to the company..

Lian's Love Story
It is based on the true story of a woman's life whom who loves too much; if she loves someone he always gives her whole heart and trust to the man she loves.
Her name was Lian, she was a native of province were I grow up also and it was in Romblon; even though she grew up in the province it did not stop her from finishing school until college with the help and support of her parents and also because of her hard work. She was a graduate of bachelor of science in Civil engineering same as I am.
I can say that she is my childhood friend since we share the same situation. When she finish her studies, she went to manila for work at the age of twenty four (24). She's been working after her graduation and working for almost 10 years now.
She start working in a small construction related company who specialized on Plumbing/Sanitary Works; there she met the first man she loved. They were in the same project but in a different company. In the first months of their relationship everything went well; but some say that the stability of a relationship is tested in every problem faced and still overcome together. The name of the man that she first love was Jun and he is 32 years old, she was told that he is single and has no family living with her parents and relatives. Lian was introduce to Jun's parent and even to his siblings, but unbeknownst to her, his relatives have covered up the whole fact that he is already a family man. But one afternoon, when Lian called Jun, a girl answered the phone she was shock at first and couldn't speak any single words. When she regained consciousness he heard that she had been cursed by the woman on the other line who introduced herself as Jun's wife. All the words that come out of the mouth of the woman who introduced herself as Jun's wife are all painful, all she knows about herself is that she is innocent. She was just a victim of deceitful people who were willing to do everything just to deceive people. After that incident, she never saw Jun never heard anything, no text or call from him. She did not bother herself and planning to break-up with him.
**"They says that all men are single once they are out of their house"**
After a week, Jun returned to his work and ask Lian to talk about their relationship. Jun doesn't want to break-up with her. Since we are living in modernized era they are living engage in pre-marital sex, and one thing that prevents Lian from ending her relationship with Jun is because they are working together in one project and she is still afraid to venture into the city to find another job. She choose to continue her relationship with Jun thinking that she has nothing to be proud of herself and cannot walk heads up in the project they work with once she broke up with him. After two years Lian look for another better company and manage to find one She has been hired as a QC Engineer. But still continue her relationship with Jun. Their relationship lasted for years, in their forth year Lian decided to apply work abroad, when Jun knew about it he requested to Lian to find him a job also. Lian had a hard time in finding a job abroad since she was a woman, construction related has more opportunity in middle east mostly for men. While on Jun's application, it was very easy for him because he has a lot of experienced and most qualified in the work that she had applied for him. After a month of processing documents, July 2013; Jun left the country for work abroad with Lian's help for a two year contract. While being left in the country Lian's day has come and go with a house work routine only. After a month that Jun's outside the country he made contact to Lian and all is well. Until the year 2014 came, their relationship has been tested again, she found out that he has another woman in Qatar. He always bring this woman in his place were he live. They are living as a couple in that country. Lian knows these through the help of social media account of the woman he has a relationship with. These woman was named Emma in Facebook who love to post photos and videos together with Jun. Lian decided to end her relationship with Jun. It was December 2014 when she had a last communication with Jun, and her Skype Account has been blocked including Facebook account. She decided to move on with her life. January 2, 2015 when she decided to go home with her mom and niece to their province hiding her pain. After a week of vacation she returned to manila and continue to work hiding the pain that really hurt her, she always stay in a place were she could let her tears fall from her eyes, were she can cry out the pain that killing her from inside. Days past, and month of January is almost over. She received a text from an identified number, and later on she found out that it was Jun, she really loves that person so she decided to meet up with him. After one and a half year he decided to go back home, he was given a vacation but he need to return in Qatar last week of January. He's been in a country for almost a month, but days before the date of return to Qatar he decided to meet up with Lian. After that day he never heard a single word from Jun again. Since Lian was working in a high rise building on the day of the scheduled flight of Jun back to Qatar, she watch every plane that flew away from the airport with tears thinking that Jun is riding one of those plane goin back to Qatar. She cry and cry like there is no tomorrow. After that day she started to move on, her house-work routine continue thinking that life must go on. Days past by and Lian received text again and to her surprised it was from Jun again, he did not leave the country. They talked about their situation and Lian ask if what is really going on to Jun's Life, she found out that his wife has been in a relationship with someone and having a baby from another man. He and his wife did not have a child of their own. (We can say that its his KARMA for all the things that his done to Lian). He was asking for another chance from her to start a new with Lian and to her stupidity he accepted him again without a doubt or anything, what matters to her was her loved to Jun.
Later on, Jun asked help from Lian to get a contract. He requested to Lian to estimate a plan regarding Plumbing/Sanitary and Fire Protection Works. Its was a big project, Robinson's General Trias at Cavite. He became a sub-contractor of the company where he work for almost 20 years before going to Qatar. He used Qatar as a stepping stone to become a sub-contractor in a company where he work for a long time. They are successful in getting a contract for that project. Lian was still working in her private employer while helping Jun's on paper works. Their work goes smoothly until Lian feel that there is something wrong again with Jun. In less that a year of working together there is a big changes in Jun that make her uneasy and never feel relaxed at all. She never sit back and she investigated what is happening and there she found out that he's having an another affair from a young woman in Cavite area where they have a staging area for their workers. Her cavalry started again, Lian give him a choices, he can be with Alona a woman from Cavite but she will be out of his life or her. But the man choose to be with a young woman, and live with the family of the woman. Alona was in a relationship and had a son from other man, while Lian has no child. Upon knowing that Jun choose to be with Alona she choose to move on and forget everything about the man she loves for less 7 long years..
Lian love Jun without limit, she gave her all; she even gave her full support to him in all aspect specially when it comes to financially status. But it says that not all love story has a good and happy ending like her love to Jun.
After a few months, Lian live without Jun in her life for good. She learn to mingle with her workmates after work. She never resort or did not learn any vices like alcohol and cigarettes. Sometimes she go out with them but the habit always persist, house and work routine has been a part of her daily lives. One day she was requested to be transferred on other projects. It has been months with out communications with Jun, and one day Lian saw on Facebook Account that her friend is into Mountain Hiking so, she requested to be a joiners too with her friend. She enjoy these activity and joined for another hikes and so on.
Year 2016 she is transfered in a new projects, Lian meet another workmates persons and labor who is working in the new projects. There she meet Sam 23 young man and at that time she is 30 years old, he is the second man she love. Sam is one of the security in the project since it was Shangri-La Hotel in BGC. Lian's work is not related to his work but knowing that they are working in the same project site therefore they have a chance that they will meet and see each other often. Lian never give so much attention to Sam although he is showing affection to her but later on found herself in a relationship with him. She was introduced by Sam to her sister but behind her back, her sister know everything about her brother that cannot be told to Lian. Her relationship with Sam was a short romance, before she know the truth about Sam's life she found herself pregnant already. He has no wife, never been married but he has been in a relationship with someone and has a son about a year old. Since the salary of a security guard in our country was very low, Sam cannot support her family and during his relationship to Lian; there are instances that Sam asked help from her financially. She is so generous that even if he has nothing left for herself she is still able to help others especially in the family, that includes Sam too.
Lian's has been hurt again, thinking what was wrong with her. She always love a person who is committed so somebody else, asking herself if she do not deserve to be happy.
She never give a choice to Sam, to avoid any scandal she requested to her manager to be transfer to any other projects near from the area she lives due to her pregnancy. She thinks that if they are important to him, he will choose them and live with her and their unborn child. But that, never happened. After she transfer to other project Sam never bother to checked on them even Lian give birth to their child in 2017. After she give birth to her child, her mother give message to Sam to inform him that she already give birth and if he wants to see the baby, but the reply was came from the woman he lived with. They received unwanted words, and that pushes them to never put the name of the father in the birth certificate of the baby. Lian fulfil all the obligation and responsibilities for her baby alone. She work hard, never hesitated to be assigned in a far provinces just to be paid with a high salary to support her child. Her child was raised by her parents in their province separate from her. Lian was a very admirable person as a parents who is very committed to her responsibility.
**We all know that today there are many children that are not lucky to have a responsible parents, there are parents that after giving birth to a their child, they give away their children, throwing a child as if nothing.**
Year 2019 she is already 33 years old, when Lian was transfer again to another project outside Manila. She then meet Mr. RBT, a 37 year old man and he was an Ex-Army. He work as a heavy equipment operator, in a company where Lian is working as a QC Engineer. Lian was sometimes a snob person that never talked to a person she never know and was not introduced to her. The eyes of Mr. RBT always follow her that makes her more conscious and uneasy and she was never happy about it. But one time Lian was instructed to go in Pampanga to meet with the Engineer that will be assigned in the Fabrication Plant there. Lian was not happy about it since she really don't like traveling in a far place. They are from south going to north even though they have service, but she doesn't have a choice she have to go there. Her supervisor was fixing the schedule of the service driver that will be assigned to her, but until she go home she never know who will be her driver. She was only advice to wait in an area where the service will pass by in the morning. Since they will be traveling from south to north she was advice to wake up and be at a waiting area early in the morning. So she wake up early and at 5 o'clock she is already in the waiting area. She waited for an hour there but the sun rise and shine already but the service hasn't arrived yet. She decided to call her supervisor, and there she know that they haven't fixed the schedule of the driver. They told Lian to wait, and few moments later she was informed that the serviced is on the way now. Moments later she received a call from an unregistered number. She answered it and it was the service driver asking if where is her location so she gave her location and she advice him that she will raised her hand once she saw that car coming. When she saw the car approaching she waived her hands and when the car stopped she immediately hopped in the car. Lian was surprised to see Mr. RBT in the driver seat, she frowned at him and kind of annoyed she asked him why you took so long. He just answered that I do not know about this trip and it so happened that I was the only available driver at the barracks, I am sleeping and they just wake me up to drive you. Lian shut her mouth after that, she never open her mouth not unless she was asked, it is impolite not to answer if someone is asking you. They have been on the trip for an hour when Lian feels of peeing, she wants to pee, she was shy but she talked to Mr. RBT that if possible they could stop in any commercial building or public toilet in which she can pee, since the weather was cold that time and she was exposed outside for long time during her wait for the arrival of the service. After that they continue to travel and that time the heavy air inside the car was lite up. Since Lian was not fond of traveling for a long hours, she sleep along the way to their destination. They reach the area and Lian finished the job given to her and its about time that they are going back to south. But before that they eat lunch together in one of the commercial center along north express way. During their trip she always caught Mr. RBT looking at her and their romance start there. Since Lian's number was given to him by office staff, he is texting Lian that night.
After that day, if Lian has to render overtime in her worked after that Mr. RBT was the one who send her home driving the service vehicle to their home. Sometimes Mr. RBT call her at night and even text, the feeling for each other has been develop an one day they were in a relationship already. They are in 3 months in a relationship when they decided to go in the Province of Lian to be able to meet her parents by her love one Mr. RBT.
At first Mr. RBT hide everything from her, he told that he was single and no family also, same story with Jun and Sam. Even though she was told by that story she didn't believe him. Lian was trying to know him better, and then she found out that he is a family man already but separated. He has one daughter living in the province of his wife, they are separated for 13 years already. Aside from that, Lian knows that he had a relationship with other woman for more that 10 years now. She is hurt again by this truth, although she prepared herself to know this truth it cause her a lot of pain again. She could not understand why the same scenario was happening to her. She is asking why! What is wrong with her, she wondering if is there no man dedicated just for her, that she will be the only loved and no one else and accept her for who she is without being deceived by them. She never reached out to Mr. RBT for days, thinking that she have to break-up with him. But Mr. RBT never stop to reach out for her, he had showed how much he loved her, he never gave up on her. She seen how Mr. RBT do all the effort for her, she remember all the wonderful things they shared together and all the good thing he has done for her. She then gave up and accept Mr. RBT again.
After 3 months in a relationship with Mr. RBT, Lian decided to resign on her job, this is to avoid any issues since they are working in the same company. She went back to Manila and looked for another job; for a month she did not work while waiting for her last pay to be released. Mr. RBT supported her financially all through out. She just supported her child from her small savings. She manage to survive somehow.
The best and good thing about Mr. RBT was he never asked money from her, it is the other way around, he gave money to Lian for her to buy some new clothes, but she is not fond of buying thing unless it was necessary. Lian always save money for in case of emergency and for her family specially for her child and Mr. RBT gave his full support to her.
Its been 1 year and 7 months already for them, being in a relationship. Its been hard for Lian since they were in an LDR for the last 7months due to Pandemic.
Lian wished was Mr. RBT will be het last man, het last love forever, but they are being tested by this Pandemic. Hopefully they can manage to survive this situation.
**Long distance relationship is a very difficult situation for two people who love each other, for a couple and only few partners are able to overcome such situation. Only few couples manage to succeed this test in their relationship; it is a great challenge because it tests the stability and trust for each other.**
We can say that her love was real and pure and it is only by chance that she gave her love to the wrong person, to a wrong man. In the eyes of others they may say that she is a woman who is easily deceived, but is it her fault if she loves, loving someone and seeks love. Yes, it is true to say that love is not sought because it comes naturally into human life. But sometimes for others, you need to take steps to find your destiny because not everyone in the world is born equal. There are people born who already have everything, beauty, wealth and intelligence. But what about those who are not fortunate enough to have such qualities?
Let's just pray that she will be used to being happy, stable and that he will find the person who will truly comfort and love him, if it is Mr. RBT that will make her happy. Then we wish her good luck and more power for her and God bless.
October 9, 2020; marks the day that I become a Mother for 3 years now.
A Letter to my Daughter
My baby Sham; today you completed another year of your life, to mark as another milestone. I cannot express the feeling I had when for the first time I hold you in my arms, I cannot express how happy I am, instantly you become my source of strength, thinking that I should be strong for you as your “Mama” and as you’re “Solo Parent”.
I looked at you and see my past, the journey that I have you in my tummy and the hardship that I face. My present; that I continue to face each challenges and trials in our lives and my future, that keeps me to work even harder for your and I am seeing a very bright pictures of your life. You are growing so fast without me by your side, and I hope that in the future you'll come to understand the situation. I know I made a mistake along the way and for those I am sorry.
You are the greatest thing that ever happened to me a wonderful blessing and a treasure from above; all I want for you is all the best in this world and your happiness. I wish you to love life, a joy and peace, love and laughters too.
Please remember that I can make a way when there seems to be no way. You are and always be my priority and I can do anything for the welfare of your life.
So, let Mama handle all the challenges and trials, through the twist and turns of our life I will be with you. I will take care of everything for now, all you need is to enjoy your youth; do not rush things because you will only be a child once.

Behavior and Attitude towards Work
What is behavior and attitude? What is your behaviour and attitude towards works? What is the effect of behaviour and attitude in you and your workmates.
Behavior is the way in which one acts or conducts oneself, especially towards others while attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something.
Everyone of us as workers has own behavior, especially at work. The behavior of each worker are based on what position they have in the company they are serve.
**There are to types of jobs;**
**White Collar jobs -** highly educated employees with a good jobs based on their chosen carier and profession with a high salary or income. Their not doing a hard labor unlike ordinary workers, they usually use ballpen, paper and computer to work.
**Blue collar jobs** - employees perform a manual labor that expend energy and work too hard to do and finish assigned task.
Every company has its own department. Since I am working in a property management company, it has the following department.
Managerials
Accounting
Residents Building Engineers
Admin/HR
Maintenance
Security
Housekeeping
The first four on the list was included in white collor job, they are the Technical and Property Manager, Accountant, Admin and HR Staff then the Engineers Supervisors. While the last three on the list are included on the blue collar jobs examples are; security guards, house keeping, maintenance as plumber and electrician.
I am employed as Maintenance Supervisor an Engineer to be precise. My jobs is to assist, take action in every concern and complaints by unit owners and tenants in the property where I work with. For me, since I was hired as a maintenance supervisor I can say that my work should only be related to my job. But sometimes as workers I have to do supervision outside maintenance concerns to house keeping personnel due its lack of direct supervisor. I have no problem with that, since it was a direct order from our manager. When i am given a certain task or scope of work, I always make it sure to address and attend to it immediately. I am a person that gives my time and attention to a job assigned to me and take immediate action.
As a supervisor I am having a problem with some of my workmates and subordinates; because sometimes I am given another task that is out of my line by our Manager. It is inevitable that they feel jealous and resentful of me, others feels that I am doing their job to impress and show off in our my boss. I am not that kind of person, I am doing it because it is in instruction from manager and nothing else.
There are many types of workers behavior and attitude towards works, in my own point of view here are as follows;
**Workers who chooses who to follow.**
"There is a scenario that my manager instruct me to relay a message to one of our workers to do a certain task, when I relay the message to the specific person, these person will never follow my instruction instead he will to our office and talk to our manager."
**Workers that stick to boss or supervisor**
" They are the person that they feel safe if they stick to supervisor, because sometimes these supervisor, cover them from leaving and not beeing seen in their respective areas."
**Workers that are envious and afraid of being overtaken.**
" I have a certain person that are not in good terms with because of the bahavior, he is always afraid that my boss is looking up to me. He always wanted to be the only one who is always praised.
**Slanderous workers**
" These kind of workers is a very dangerous kind of companion, because once you turn your back from them you don't know, you are already insulted and bringing you down. People like this sometimes cause some workers to lose their jobs.
**Workers who cheat on times and works.**
" I have encounter this attitude to our workers, the scenario was our manager give instruction to me that we should send housekeeping and maintenance to other property beside us. Since we are working in a high rise building, there are some residents that throw garbage from their balcony in the other property, which was two story building. These worker was advice that monday morning at 8 o'clock they should start to clean, but when I was lookig for for him but everyone says that he hasnt around yet. By 9:30 I saw him doing a sideline job, the guard at the lobby reported that he arrive 9:31 but when he log in at the logbook he write 8:30. He do it on purpose to be late, because he doesnt want to go and clean on the other property.
**Workers who choose what works to do and do not want.**
" The workers sometimes have misunderstanding because of this attitude, they choose to have this misundertanding rather than to work together and help each other to finsh the certain task.
Aside from those that I listed, i know there are lot more, but it will depend on your observation in your nature of work.
I can say that whenever I am at work, I do not give command to every subordinates that i have for my own benefits and purpose. I never asked them to buy something or anything like for exmaple napkins and other personal things. I always stick to the scope of works assigned to me, and I am not a person who loves to be the **"JACK of TRADES".**
If you are doing it in a right way without bringing down the others then it is good but; when you are doing it and bringing down someone just to be on top then that is bad. I dont know and really understand why someone loves to be that kind of person.
Eventhough I have workmates that are not good with, my life still going on because I know to myself that I havent done wrong.
My perspective towards work is that, i did not find job to have friends, though having friends in your work is a bonus. My sole purpose of looking for a job is for my family, for our livelihood. The company pays me right so i have to serve and do my job well.

It really encourage me to write more article. These is the result of my efforts before; eventhough it wasnt noticed, atleast now I am rewarded and it was worth the wait.
Necessity and Luxury
**Necessity** - is something that is absolutely needed, there is a lot of things that we need in order for us to live. For example of these are; we need air to breath, food if we are hungry and water if we are thirsty. While **Luxury** is a something that are not absolutely necessary in one's life, but it gives pleasure to human life.
I was born and raised in a poor family, the only thing that our parents could afford was the basic need rather than luxuries. Being a child, there is a lot of things that you wished to have and wanted. There are times that your childhood neighbors will just envy you of something they have, because they know that you don't have any, and your parents could not afford to give it to you. It hurts so much and you can feel pity for yourself.
I can say that not everyone that was born poor has a bad future, some people who have grown up from poverty used it as an inspiration to advance and to have a good future in life. There are saying that **"People who grow up in poverty are more resilient and not afraid to face every challenge of life".** Know why? Because sometimes the people who was born from poverty are the people who dream and work hard to reach the success and are willing to gamble. They are not afraid to fail because they grow up in poverty that in any case they will not prosper or succeed, they can live being poor again.
In my case, I and my siblings grew up struggling in the hardships of life, endure and adapted to whatever our parents could afford. I remember always the saying of my parents that;
**"If there is nothing, just learn to be patient and need to endure; but if there is anything, there is no need to suffer."**
Despite the hardship of our parents went through to raise us from childhood, they succeeded in getting us to finish our school until college. As of the present, we are all working employed in private company.
Since I grew up in poverty, it is marked in my mind that the penny I earned from my fatigue and sweat should be valued. I would rather save than spend or buy thing that are not important. Buying things with a cost of large amount of money is a kind of luxury that I cannot afford.
There are cases that I will buy new clothes, shoes and others if my owned things are broken and no use already.
For the past few weeks, I really wanted to have a new phone, since my current phone has a poor memory and all my files has been corrupted. The important memories that I have through pictures has been deleted and I am unable to recover it. I have that phone for two years ago and I took it installment. I have a good job and earn enough but I prefer to get an installment cellphone. My reason for doing it is, I cannot let myself spend a big amount of money that I work hard for a long time. I am not the type person who loves shopping or buying anything that are trending or latest model. I am a person that replaces things when they broken or the thing is really in need to be replaced. In two years that have been using it, I can say that the condition is still good, the only thing that I consider to replace it was its poor memory that cause to delete my files. I am very careful in every thing or anything that I own. My plan was when I get a new phone, I will give this old phone to my mother. My mom use handy phone that when you call it doesn't take long for both of you to talk and it will suddenly die and you will not be able to reached again.
After a lot of thinking for the past few weeks, even though I don't want to be in debt, I decided to have a new phone. I took it again through installment payment. I can afford it to buy in cash but I am always looking for important things or situation to spend a large amount of money than to buys expensive things in cash. For me getting something through installment is not heavy on the pocket, it feels heavier spending large amount of money that I have struggled to save for a long time in just one swift.
I am saving money for emergency situations and not in luxuries that are not necessary and important. I really believe in the saying that;
**"You will never know the value of money until you make it yourself and your already experiencing the difficulty just to earn it."**
Solo Parent, My Choice
***Solo Parent*** is upholding the responsibilities and obligations to your child/children alone without a life partner.
Being a solo parent is sometimes a choice for others its what they want, while others it was un-intentional.
Fifteen days from now will be my three years of being a single parent for my child. As for my situation, since I know that I am already at my right age, with a stable work and longing for someone to be with me when I grow old; I intended to have a child out of wedlock. I am always left behind by the person/s that I fell in love with; so I see myself being alone. I see myself that I will be ok in the future since I have a child already that will guide me until I grow old.
I am 30 years old when I got pregnant and gave birth at the age of 31. During my 4th months of pregnancy I never heard about the father of my child I didn’t contact him also, I never asked her father to be with us. I was all alone during my delivery; there is no one that assist me overnight in the lying in Clinic where I gave birth to my child. I woke up in the morning find myself half of my face was being paralyze, it is called ****Bell Palsy******.** It is said that Bell Palsy is the effect of stress and having many thoughts.
During that night I could not sleep because my child was crying and I do not know how to take care of her because I am a new mother who just gave birth to a baby and no one is taking care of us because it is not allowed to have a lot of people inside the small clinic. I am not aware of Bell Palsy at first before, I thought it was due to my toothache. It is said to be that eating dark chocolate before delivery will help during labor, but it cause me toothache. My sister in-law told us that what happened to me was the same with her friend and its call Bell Palsy. When I searched about it was confirmed that it is.
I am still very lucky despite all the trials and hardship that I encountered, my face returned to normal after two months of self therapy. I conduct my own therapy, I massage my face every time I go to sleep, and every morning I practice moving my paralyzed face; I follow the steps that I saw in therapy session of people with this type of disability on how to massage the face of someone with bell palsy and for 2 months my face improve. I also make sure to consult the doctors and take all the medicines that are prescribed to me.
I am happy that I manage to survive and my face was able to go back to normal.
**One thing that never encourages me being married was;**
During my childhood, since I was born to a poor family surviving for the daily needs was very hard for my parents; they need to strive hard just to put food in our table. There are times that they are having a fight that result to my mother being beaten by father. When I saw my mother with a lot of bruise in her body I feel very sorry about her. Every time that scenario happened, I told myself that will never marry someday; I would never allow anyone to hurt me physically.
I am happy that despite the situation and the struggle of my parents together, all the fight that they had they are still together, growing old and loves each other very much. I envy them, because they survive all the problem and hardship that comes their way.
So for now I am enjoying myself being single mother, although I have lots of question regarding being a single mom and having a lot of thought of how to survive on my situation.
What keeps me to move forward was I had survived that challenge of life for me during that time, as a single parent then I can handle it more now.
I do make sure that I am ready to every challenge of life that may come on my way and until now I am still ready for more trials that are yet to come in my life, in our lives me and my daughter. 💪💪💪
I know I have nothing to be afraid being a single parent in the society, since I do believe that it is not a crime. It was our choice and we alone are the one who’s going to face the reality and consequence of life.
I love the idea of having as complete family but I am not ready to have one.
Flowering Plants
Most of us loves flowering plants, Flowering plants are often get attention as it is used as decorative design in one place, establishment and especially in our houses, our home. There ate many kinds and verities of plants in these world and they always have something in common, it is their fragrant which is pleasant and good to smell.
Since I am working in a residential property, there is a small garden intended for herb and spices and there's always have a big space for decorative plants, some are flowering and some are ornamental plant that do not bloom flowers. I noticed that when I was new in the property that I am working with I can say that my boss is more fond of non-flowering/ornamental plants, but there are some plants that bloom flowers and here are those;
I have noticed that peanut grass flower blossom daily in the morning and when reaches noon its flower is cringing.
The next one we have Kalatsutsi plant and we have two variety in the property;
Caring flowers is a fun activity and relieves stress on the body. It 's fun to watch that every day your plant has an improvement, today's flower's is just bare and when the other morning comes it blooms.

Stewed Ginger and Oregano Leaves with Lemon
**Have you tried it before guys?**
Because it is rainy season and the climate keep changing from hot and cold weather, coughs, colds and having phlegm are common again.
To prevent getting sick I am taking herbal medicine. There are many herbal medicines that can help to prevent such diseases, some of my workmates put lemon on their bottle of water, but for me I use ginger, Oregano Leaves and Lemon,
For the prepartions;
**Stewed Ginger and Oregano Leaves with Lemon**
Prepare, clean, wash and peel the ginger and cut/slice it after.
put three glasses of water in the casserole and boil the ginger and oregano leaves
Let it boil 3 to 5 minutes, after let it cool a little then transfer to a jar.
For the lemon, I have cut it already and removed the seeds before putting on a jar.
I recommend it to drink while it is still a little hot.
***Luya*** **or ginger** - considered as herb and spices with lots of benefits; it is good for headache and migrane, fever and cough too. It can cure many medical conditions such cancer and others.
Since i was little until now, wherever we go to a place that were not familiar with, our mother would always tell us to bring ginger, specially when we are going to a place that we do not know and never been reached before. It is for a supertitious belief, but sometime it is better to believe because you have nothing to lose.
****Oregano Leaves****
Oregano is a herb from the mint family, it can treat medical conditions and sometimes considered as spices and use to add flavor on dishes.
All i know about these oregano plants are it is good for coughs, asthma and allergies. That is the reason why I stewed it together with the ginger since they have something in common that our body can bebefits on curing some illness or disease.
During Covid pandemic and no work for 2 months I am taking care of my so I am taking stewed garlic with oregano as my water for the whole day.
Since my workmates preferred lemon on their bottle of water, I thought to myself, why don't I try adding lemon to the ginger stew and oregano leaves that I am drinking?🤔🤔🤔
**Lemon -** is a yellow oval fruit with juicy acidic flesh, considered to be citrus fruit that are rich in vitamins C.
When i search the lemon water benefits on our boby, these are the following that i got on the article that i have read; lemon was a good source of vitamin C and support weights loss. My workmates aims to be fit and sexy that is the reason why they are having lemon water, it is also good for food digestion.
It aslo encourage me to try it by adding it on my recipe. Whenever I am in our house I am taking it as my water,but sometime in a whole day i also drink pure water itself.
When I drink the combined ingredients that I made, I was not poisoned and I did not feel anything strange about my body. Before I am only drinking stewed ginger and oregano leaves, and you can taste each flavor of the ingredients. But when i tried to add lemon on the stewed water, it's taste are well balance to each other.

In our Garden : Lagundi Leaves and Flower
I'm old at 34 years old, but it's just now that I saw Lagundi and its flower.
**Lagundi** has been used for centuries by local populations in the Philippines for its medicinal properties.
Leaves are commonly used to ease headaches and cleanse ulcers, seeds are used to treat skin diseases. The plant’s flowers are used to treat numerous diseases such as diarrhea and cholera, and its black fruit is dried and eaten to alleviate and regulate intestinal discomfort.
Lagundi was chosen to be the basis for a medicine to alleviate cough and asthma symptoms since respiratoryvproblems were primary concern aming the population
My manager conduct inspection on the sorrouding of the property where we work with, by tomorrow we will be having pictorial about our herb and spices garden featuring Sir Mike who are taking care of the plants.
Then he introduced to us the plants in the Garden, including Lagundi Plant.

Sometimes it is better to ask for favor's from other people than from your own relatives.

Sleep Paralysis
**Who among you experience sleep paralysis?**
**Sleep paralysis** is when you cannot move or speak as you are waking up or falling asleep. It locks a person in a weird state between waking and dreaming, where they can't move but might experience odd hallucinations.
**My Experience**
I’ve been experiencing it always, I and my sister always experience sleep paralysis. It is the feeling that you can’t breathe, you are thinking that you are shouting as loud as you can asking for help but according for my sibling I am only moaning.
I have lots of experience and i'd like to share this one;
There is one time that I am on a vessel I am travelling alone from my vacation in our province going back to manila and it was 8 to 10 hours from 5 in the afternoon to 2 am. I am sleeping on a single double deck, i am at the lower deck and someone is above the upper deck, since I am aware that I am always having a sleep paralysis I am afraid to sleep, but when drowsiness really calls you, you really can't stop it. Around 11 o’clock I found myself having a sleep paralysis, I couldn’t breathe and move but I’m trying my best, in my mind I am thinking that I am with my siblings and I am really calling for them. Luckily someone above the double deck were I was sleeping jump down while the other man that was near our deck try to wake me up. I am very much thankful to them, after that I never slept again even drowsiness was really calling me. I just stay awake until the vessel reaches the port.
Every time that I experience these, it last for seconds; sometimes I am nearly coming to lose hope when there is no one coming for me to wake me up. I remember I begun praying to our Lord, that if this is the end of my life I will accept and more than willing to offer it and that is where I would wake up. Whenever I am having this sleep paralysis the only name that I remember that I was calling always is my mother. Whenever they asked me about the dreams that turns into nightmares and cause sleep paralysis, I can’t remember anything, my mind was totally blocked the only thing that I know is I can’t move and I am shouting as loud as I can. Sometimes these paralysis is persistent, after you wake up and fall asleep again it will happen again; the sleepiness is calling, after that you can feel that your body was so heavy that even moving any fingers are really hard and later you'll be shouting as loud as you can but nobody can hear you.
So it is recommended that, once you wake up, you should drink lots of water before going to sleep again. Do not forget to offer some prayers and asked protection to our Lord before going to bed as we close our eyes.

Un-able to Sleep
I really want to sleep early but i could'nt. Ive been rolling around my bed for 2-3 hours already but I can't sleep. My mind is still wide awake and has not been visited by drowness.
Overthinking anxiety and stress over something or someone is reason why we can't sleep, but I am totally fine. It's 12:38 am, I'll be waking up by 5:30 to prepare myself because I have a duty in the morning at 8 o'clock, ****sleep where are you?****
**There's some old saying that;**
When you can't sleep, you are definitely in someone else dream.
While others say that you have taken to much coffee that is why you can't sleep.
**How about you guy's, do you believe in that saying too?? What old saying do you know about why a person cannot sleep aside from being stress into something.**

Cooking is my Passion V
Its nearly lunch time, so we gonna cook some dish quickly for lunch. I'm gonna cook Paksiw na Bangus in my own way of cooking;
***Lunch*** - a meal eaten in the middle of the day, typically one that is lighter or less formal than an evening meal.
**"Paksiw na Bangus with Eggplant"**
**Ingredients:**
Bangus "Milk Fish"
Eggplant
Onions, garlic and ginger
Vinegar
Green Chili
Black Pepper
Salt and Ajinomoto Seasoning
So lets start cooking guys!**💪💪💪**
**Procedure:**
The first thing was the preparation of all the ingredients. Wash, clean the milk fish and eggplant and cut according to your desired slice.
Prepare the condiments, onion garlic and ginger and also cut these ingredients on your desired slice.
Combine all the ingredients in one cooking pot, milk fish, eggplant, and the condiments like onion garlic and ginger.
Add one cup of water, desired amount of vinegar, salt and Ajinomoto seasoning to taste delicious. Once ready and set lets proceed in cooking
Let it boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, put the green chili pepper and add or sprinkler a little amount of black pepper. I considered it cooked once the water lessen and its color change.
And that's it, it is best to serve while its hot with rice.. Let's eat our lunch everyone on time, so that we will have enough strength to our work.

“My introductory Post”
Hi @Macronald, I have been in read.cash for almost two months already. I’ve been actively using these platform for almost three weeks.
I’m @sham, I intend not to tell my real name for my personal purpose, but I want to share some detail about myself. I am 34 years old, single to be specific I am single mother with one child. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, but failed to take my licensure examination. I’ve been working since 2010 and currently working in a private developer company; I am assigned in one of the property that my boss owned. I am a maintenance supervisor handling civil and plumbing works.
Read.cash was introduced to me by my little sister, after I register I never used it and it took me a month before having time; writing and reading some article on these platform. I am not a blogger and not really good in writing article but I am trying my best.
After a week of being here in these platform and straight using it; I earned $2.0, so I am encourage to continue writing, reading some article give some comments and up vote. There are times that I don’t have interest in doing any activity in read.cash due to freeze points that I encountered. But still I manage to pursue. So in less than three weeks time I earned a total amount of almost $ 11 dollar.
The one thing that really encourages me to pursue in these platform was the thought that I am earning in my activity such as writing and reading article, giving comments to others and sometimes up-vote. I can earn some points that are converted to a value of dollar. Since I am using mobile data I am spending money. So the thought that we are earning in these platform, I am spending money, but in return I am earning. Although the earning is not that much; but it’s enough than nothing. All i need is an effort perseverance and hardwork to earn a much higher amount.
"I am spending a Php. 100.00/per week for my mobile data. In read.cash if I will be active in these platform, in just a week through my effort and hardwork I can earn $2 dollar; so I will recover my spent money for mobile data. " That is my reason why I am staying here in readcash.

**Coffee** is one of those drinks that many of us can't do without. There something in this drink that, makes our whole day in a good mood.
If your like me, I think you start your day with a cup of coffee.
There's a lot types and brand of coffee; but for me I preffered to have a hot cup of 3 in 1 coffee in any brand as long as it is coffee.
Before I start my work, i am having my coffee so that my stomach will be warmed up. Even i dont eat, as long as i had coffee i can survive until lunch.

Filipino Dish - Budget Meal with a Budgeted Cost
Since today was a cold weather, delicious dish with hot broth is good in time like this. But the problem is the budget; therefore I want to share some recipe that does not required expensive cost. We also used our available ingredients in the cabinet, so here it is;
**Sauteed "SABA" Sardines (Mackerel) with Miswa, Patola and Sayote**
Mackerel Sardines - 2 cans
Miswa Noodles
Patola (small)
Sayote (small)
Onion, garlic
Cooking Oil, Black Pepper (crushed)
Salt, Ajinomoto Seasoning
I beleieve that you don't need expensive ingredients in cooking, rather that all you need is the love for the ingredients to cook delicious recipe.
So let's start the process of cooking guys; 💪💪💪
**Procedures:**
Prepare all the ingredients needed, washed the vegetables that we are going to use as one of the ingredients of our recipe. Cut the onion, garlic and vegetables Patola and Sayote depending on how you slice it.
After the preparations of all the ingredients, lets prepare for cooking the process of sauteing. Pre-heat the cooking pan and add the cooking oil.
Add the garlic, wait for it to turn into light brown then add the onion. Let it cook a little.
Then after that pour the Canned Mackerel into the pan along with its broth. Canned sardines with tomato sauce is best for these kind of recipe also.
When the mackerel is boiling on it own broth, add Sayote into the pan and wait for it to be half cooked. Sprinkler it with a little salt to taste.
Add 2 - 3 cups of water and let it boil. Add salt depends on your taste and Ajinomoto seasoning for the savor of the broth.
When the broth is boiling add the Miswa Noodles over the boiling broth, wait for the noodles change it texture while it is boiling.
Lastly put the patola on the pan, and let it simmer. When patola change in color, sprinkler a little amount of crashed black pepper on top. Then you can turn off the the fire.
It's best to serve while it's hot!!.😋😋😋 Just be careful cause it's really hot. It's lunch time already; happy eating everyone.

It was raining outside when i woke up around 5:30 to prepare myself on my duty. 🌧🌧🌧 It is still good sleep since the the weather is cold😴😴😴, but i need to prepare to earn for a living.
But you know guys;🤔🤔🤔 going out of the rains has a good benefits for us; I just want share what i read on an article;
1. The smell of rain has a calming effects.
2. The cold weather are good for the skin
3. It quenches the fire
4. The road was free
5. Walking in the rains burn out more calories.
But in our situation today, Covid Pandemic; its better not to go outside the rain to avoid fevers and cold. So if going outside guys bring umbrella and raincoat guys.

Result of my Effort III
Before the end of this day, i would like to share my highest earning for almost 3 weeks straight of using read.cash. This day I earned a lot and it has a total of $ 3.43 dollars, yes it is. I just want to share my happiness with you guys 😀😀😀
I can say that my hard work, perseverance and effort are well paid off, small amount for other but for me is big enough and I am proud of it. 🥰🥰🥰.

There are Sunshine after the Rain
Heavy rains falls this afternoon at around 1 o'clock. The high building was not very visible due to rain.
The sky in a certain area was dark and there are area that the skies are bright.
While in Pasig River you can see those water lily was drifted by the water.
After the rain you can see how bright the blue sky and there are many clouds above.
In reality of life, sometimes we encounter storm of trial, hardship and difficulties. If we manage to surpass it with flying color its a great accomplishment and worth all the sacrifice we had.
So never give up guys! Have a strong will and enough courage to face every challenges that may come our way. Always God is with us, all we have to do is put our faith in him.

Worth my Day-off
**How do you spend your day-off?**
***Day-off*** is a day's vacation from work or school on what would normally be a working day.
Well for me; sometimes i usually stay in bed and sleep, but today i am going to do some minor rectification here in our house since I've been staying in the property where i worked with, l am rarely coming to were we live here in the city. We are renting an apartment, I my sister and his husband. One day I got back in our house and notice that some of vinyl in the flooring was not fixed already. So I schedule it to be fix by myself.
**Operation Fixing of Vinyl Flooring**!💪💪💪
As of this writing I am rectifying our vinyl. I start at 8 o'clock after I had some coffee. Then later I start doing my scheduled of work;
Since we don't have proper tools, i only use the available that I have. I only use flat screw for removing and cleaning the whole surface of the vinyl and the area where i removed it.
First thing I removed all the vinyl that are not fixed on flooring. Since we dont have vinyl to be used as replacement so I intended to used it again.
I clean the area where i remove the vinyl, remove dirt, old adhesive and paint that being used before to attached it on flooring.
I also clean the back of the vinyl which the dirt and existing paste are glued and which has no use already. This is to make sure that the surface will be free of dirt so that that paste that i am going to apply will be glued properly.
After cleaning it i let it dry outside since it moisten while being attached to the floor 15 to 20 minutes. I also put electric fan to let the floor dry in where the vinyl was removed.
One thing that i notice doing the rectification was the wrong use of materials. The use of paint to attached vinyl is not correct. Paint are not used as a paste, i concluded that it is the reason why the surface moisten. The second one that i notice is, they only apply paste on the small area. They do not apply adhesive on the whole surface of the vinyl.
Lack of budget always sacrifice the quality of materials that are use in some ways.
The next step is to apply adhesive, I am using "Stikwel" its use as vinyl adhesive. Apply stikwel and spread to the whole surface at the back of vinyl that we are going to attached at the floor. I make sure that the adhesive is properly distributed to surface.
Since the area is dry and clean, I attached the vinyl with adhesive. Once I attached the vinyl with stikwell it is very hard to move it so I make sure that it is properly oriented already upon attaching. After i attached it on the floor i am rubbing it with my hand to make sure that it well be properly glued. You can place heavy thing on top so that it will not rise up.
I am giving time to fix those work that need maintenance to avoid any extended damages that result also to any untoward incident. These kind of activity is part of the maintenance program in a house.
These is the accomplish i had in my day-off:
13 pieces of 300mm x 300mm floor vinyl
1 piece of 30mm x 200mm floor vinyle
1 piece small piece vinyl as siroho.
And that's it guys, all that left for me is to clean since doing this cause a lot of dirt in the whole area. I finished attaching vinyl flooring at 1:30 in the afternoon, no lunch break. That is the worth of my day-off today.
Having an experience in a construction helps me a lot, as a maintenance supervisor all i need is a little observation, and if I have a question i never hesitated to asked someone who have skilled and knowledge in their field of work. So here it is, this is my first time doing it..
Experience is really good at teaching. All you need is the courage to apply what you have learned. Don't worry about failure and what if's; what if i do it wrong or i dont know, just put your best and enjoy. Later you'll be happy about your accomplishment, and you will think of the next time, you will do it perfectly.

Dragon Fruit Plant
***Dragon fruit*** is a food that grows on a climbing cactus called hylocereus, which you'll find in tropical regions around the world. The plant's name comes from the Greek word "hyle," which means "woody," and the Latin word "cereus," which means "waxen."
I have tried to eat these fruit way back 2017 few weeks before my due date. My uncle told me that these fruit was very healthy and nutritious.
These morning as i talked to Sir Mike:
Me: Sir, do you have a Dragon Fruit, I want to have that plant. I am planning to bring some in our province including the seedlings of the Fig Fruit.
Sir Mike: Yes ma'am, we have. Come I'll show you. It's not properly cared but it is Dragon Fruit Plant.
We walked to the area where the Dragon Plant.
Me: Can i have one sir, i want to re-plant it in a small pot so that i can easily bring it once its OK to travel going home to our province.
Sir Mike: Sure ma'am, you can pick on them.
Me: What color of fruit does these plant have sir?
Sir Mike: Its a red one (hes referring to pink one ). I know it has three variety, red yellow and white. I have a yellow in Cavite, ill give you one when we come back from there.
Me: Ok sir, Thanks a lot. 🙏🙏🙏
Then i got a small pot and pick one, Sir mike provided me a soil; transfer it to already and I am hoping it will live
He advice me that the plant is a dessert plant like cactus that always need sunlight, so we put it on a safe area. I put inside the garden with a small gate to avoid it to be stolen.

It's memorable for me because i eat these fruit during my pregnancy on my daughter, that was my first and last time eating it. It was given by the neighborhood of my uncle who has that plant. I am being sentimental in some way..

Ficus carica is an asian species of the Flowering Plant in the Mulberry Family, known as the common fig or just the fig.
So, this morning, when i came to visit in our little garden i catched Sir Mike taking care of the plants. Transfering some plants to other area.
Sir Mike: I harvested some Fig Fruits, could you please give it to Ms. J
Me: Sure sir..
He then get the said fruits and hand it over to me.
Those fig fruits are simultaneously ripening, almost everyday you can pick a ripe fruits.
Benefits in eating these fruits according to what i read reagarding these fruits;

Savings
Do you have a "**SAVINGS**" of your own?
***Saving*** is income not spent, or deferred consumption. Saving is putting money aside in, for example, a deposit account or as cash.
Saving money is important because it helps protect you in the event of a financial emergency. It reduces your financial stress, leave as financial legacy, and provide you with a greater sense of financial freedom. It allows you to enjoy greater security in your life, you may be able to take risks or try new things.
Being born in a poor family is the one reason that encourage me to save in consideration to the following;
1. **Budget** – before putting amount to save, let all expenses had a budget already, budget for family, allowances and for the bills. What’s left on me I am putting it on my savings. I don’t set exact amount because it depends upon my income and my expenses.
2. "**Want" and "Need**"- before buying anything I always evaluate myself if I really need it or it can wait. There are times before I am going to the store I am very sure of myself buying some item, but when I think again while I am in the store already I told myself that maybe next time it can wait.
3. I am making sure that once in a month, since we have two paydays; I can add some small amount to my savings, all I think for doing it was my child, it’s for her future and for emergency.
My goal in doing it was my family specially my child, being a solo parent I am saving for her because no one will do that for us.
I am saving money from the very start that I am working for myself. Right now i have saving but's it not that much, its enough to support me in case of emergency in the family.
I remember that when I was in college, every peso left on my allowances I am saving it.
Before; there are times that nothings left for us, no budget for food. We try to borrow small amount just to save the day in our neighbor and promise to pay the other day but no one help us. That is one of the saddest part of my childhood that i cannot forget.
Another times that my savings helps our family; save our meal for the day. In a small amount I have, it helps my parents which are struggling for our living.
All the experience i have is the reason that keeps me to work hard and to save so that those happened to us before would never experience by our present generation which is our children.
Having your own money is for your own good, you can buy all the things that you want but remember to spend wisely.
You will learn the value of money, every cents of it, if you are working hard to earn it.
In the future we can enjoy the fruit of our hardwork for today. So I encourage everyone like me to save now, for your future. Small amount is good enough to save.
