It's hard trying to think of new things to write. On the flip side, it's easy to convince yourself that nobody cares about anything you have to say, especially if you're not sure yourself.
Maybe that's what they mean when they say to write for yourself, because if you don't care, who will?
Unfortunately, that still leaves me right where I started: what should I write?
However there's also another way of looking at the situation, and that's to convince yourself that nobody cares anyway so write whatever you want. What's the worst that could happen? You embarrass yourself a little, big deal.
Of course I don't want to embarrass myself. I've done enough of that for multiple lifetimes. Luckily no one really remembers most of those moments but you, and in my experience most people hardly remember anything at all.
I guess that's why people write books, so we don't forget the things that are indeed worth remembering. Maybe that's what I need to be doing. Writing something worth remembering.
Maybe next time.
We cannot please people to like us. people have nature on forgetting something worth just because they found most valuable. Ourselves must be flexible in changing time and so that. It wouldn't hurt us more.
