The ABM Lesson I Actually Learned We students often ask ourselves why we need to study certain subjects in school when we won’t even need the knowledge in real life. We hate chemistry for confusing us with all these bonds. We hate history for making us memorize all the dates and names of people we never really meet in real life. But when I started my 12th year in secondary school I discovered subjects that I can benefit from even if I won’t enter in courses aligned to the strand that I chose. I am currently a grade 12 student under the Accountancy, Business and Management strand. I remember starting in the strand with thoughts like “this isn’t anything different”. I was faced with a science that I really wanted to avoid. The physical education subjects that took my dignity away from all the dancing and accounting subjects I never thought I’d cry for. Until I learned about investments, but with all these distractions, I never really learned the concept of it just yet. However, like how destiny works for the romantic desires you probably wouldn’t have. I learned about cryptocurrency. It is such a complicated concept to grasp, it took me a year to fully give my attention to this rising currencies. And just in time when I almost gave up on it, I learned about investments. Only understood it when i learned about investments in business finance. It helped me in understanding how we should spend my money in things like this. And help me grasp the concept of “sell high, buy low” which is very helpful not only In cryptocurrencies. Now, money circulates around the world, traditional or digital. Everywhere we go we will deal with money. No matter how much you have a normal at or in your bank account you can make something out of it. You can increase the amount you have with proper knowledge. And we need that knowledge to survive or at least be happy with how things will turn out in the future, because let’s be honest. ***Money might not maintain happiness but it can definitely buy happiness.*** And, that’s the real life lesson I learned from ABM that took just a day of discussion but will remain in a lifetime.

A Hundred Questions Minus One ***“People never cry for no reason, but some cry without knowing the reason why.”*** I thought about that while contemplating what to write in my speech. I want to vent and release whatever is troubling me but then I realized, I don't even know what's troubling me. And I thought of the hundred unanswered questions I have. And that's how I made this piece. Some people feel pressure from unknown causes. They feel weight on their shoulders without knowing where it's coming from. People break down in random times without knowing what took them down. Some people just never know why they are feeling the way they are. They just never know how to treat their problem because they don't even know what their problem is in the first place. They never know why they feel down, why they cry, and why they just blankly stare in an open space thinking what's wrong with them. Because they know there is something, but they don't know what that “something” is. Like me, some people have a hundred questions living rent-free in their minds. These situations are never an "I just do it because I do it" type of case. Everything has a reason. **Every trait, every actions, every gesture and attitude is an effect of something.** That is why I want to study Psychology. I want to learn about it with the hope of understanding those people who cant understand themselves. I want to understand them and where they're coming from. I want to study in the field with the hope of giving answers to the hundred questions that even I, myself is seeking. Up until this moment I thought the only reason for me wanting to study Psychology is because people pick my interest, because of how their behaviour makes me curious. But as I’m writing this piece I realized my true motive. I want to study psychology for myself with the hope of **helping myself answering the hundred questions I can't answer.** And I think I’m making the right decision in pursuing this field. Because from writing this piece I made a progress. I now only have a hundred questions minus one left to answer.

A Living Proof of Dr. Jose Rizal's Statement ***"Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan."*** *Trans: "The youth is the hope of the country."* Those are the words of our very own national hero, Dr. Jose Protasio Rizal. I used to just laugh this saying seeing how some of the young Filipinos behave on the internet. But the situation right now in the province of Philippines, Cagayan Valley made me change my mind. As a lot of people here in Read.Cash probably know, the Philippines is struggling and in a critical situation wherein a province is literally close to sinking. And the government isn't really taking this too seriously. However, the Filipino youth managed to send awareness, relief and donations on their own ways to help our co-Filipinos. For a moment, senseless, useless and immature contents disappeared in our Facebook feeds and replacing ut with donation drives, commision for a cause and even spreading of emergency hotlines. On our very own, we, the youth of the Philippines managed to make a movement this big without the help of the government. Plus the cancellation of the bidding to use the funds for sending help to the typhoon victims. I don't usually write or even share my opinion about the government. But this situation made me believe that our votes, voices and complaints really matter. This isn't only for the Filipinos but also for the recent election in USA wherein the eligible and active youth voters increased to about 3%-4%. Slowly, let us make our world a better home for us. We will be the hope of our countries. Let us all claim it. For the Filipino users, please do continue sharing awareness and spreading emergency hotlines on your social media accounts until we are sure that no one is left behind in the area.

Manifest: A Series Review Hey guys~ It's been a while. I figured this series is so underrated in the Philippines so I would like to recommend it to some who loves watching movies and series. Take a look and see if it's up to your taste. Plot: The story centers on the passengers and crews of a certain plane that suddenly disappeared for 5 years. Intriguingly, the people in the flight who didn't experience any time lapse returned to their loved ones who thought that they were already dead. As they start investigating what happened to the plane on the year it disappeared, mysteries about themselves and trouble awaits each one of them. My Review: Manifest is a really intriguing series. They know when to stop every episode to make you watch the next one eagerly. Good for me as Season 1 was already finished by the time I watched it. Anyway, even with the show focusing on the mystery of the passengers and crews of the flight, it also shows the problem the of being someone who wasn't physically present in someone's lives. I think even without you disappearing and reappearing with a plane, you would still relate to the idea especially if you experienced moving houses a lot. So the series isn't too boring because instead of only targeting your mind, it targets your heart too. The actors are really good in portraying their roles and the plot isn't something that you'll say "*they're just making it long for the show to reach this number of episodes"*. Every episode leaves the characters a clue to what they're finding. Overall, I really think it's a great series for those who love Sci-Fi and even those who don't. I really recommend this series. It's not going to waste your time. *Please do like this article and subscribe to my profile if you liked this. I will be posting more movie reviews in the near future. The support would be really appreciated :) Thank you~*

Broken Heart Syndrome *Hey guys! This is* *@aquariyoursxx* *once again with another article for all of you to enjoy and learn new things. Today's about broken hearts so I hope you enjoy~!* https://read.cash/@aquariyoursxx So it started when I was scrolling through my feed in Facebook. I saw a post which resurfaced after years, it was talking about you can literally die from a broken heart. I did some research whether it's true or not and also to know what the process, symptoms and the treatments are for this. As I did my research, I stumbled upon a syndrome called, Broken Heart Syndrome. Broken heart syndrome is a temporary heart condition that's ***often brought on by stressful situations and extreme emotions***. The condition can also be triggered by a serious physical illness or surgery. It may also be called **stress cardiomyopathy**, takotsubo cardiomyopathy or apical ballooning syndrome. **MayoClinic** https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/broken-heart-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20354617 So Broken Heart Syndrome, even when it is completely unrelated to the heart strings, is also caused by extreme emotions that can also be brought by break-ups, divorce, loss of loved ones and even winning a lotto. Happy or not, as long as it's an extreme feeling, it may cause the syndrome. So I think that's why it's also called cardiomyopathy because empathy and sympathy, it involves feelings? Idk I just thought of it hahaha Anyway, but how do you know you have one? The symptoms include: Chest Pain Shortness of Breath Are you getting scared because you often have those when you experience extreme emotions? Don't worry because Broken Heart Syndrom is only a temporary heart condition. Patients being brought to the hospital for the said syndrome are found to recover after a week or two. But don't be so confident and just trust that it's temporary because if you have the symptoms permanently and even without doing or experiencing anything, you have to visit the doctor's clinic. So to all heartbreakers out there, I hope your hearts break~ ^^ Don't forget to take care of yourself! Exercise, and have a healthy lifestyle. That's all! I hope you liked and learned from this article of mine. Hit the like button, comment your thoughts or experiences from a broken heart and you might get an upvote if it's one of a kind. ***Thank you!***

Jack of All Trades, Master of None Hey guys! This is me @aquariyoursxx with another article for y'all to read. Today's gonna be a bit of a serious one. So I hope you enjoy~! We often hear people saying "Wow! You're a jack of all trades.". Some might know what this means but for those who don't: ***A jack of all trades*** *is often a compliment for a person who is good at fixing things, and has a very good broad knowledge.* *Wikipedia**.* https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_of_all_trades,_master_of_none It means a person who has a lot of knowledge on different things. Hearing this, you might think "*i wanna be like that too.*" But wait 'till you know the complete phrase. ***"A jack of all trades, master of none"*** The phrase was popularized by Robert Greene in 1592 when he referred to William Shakespeare. Unknown to many, "master of none" is also part of the phrase. Acquiring a lot of different skill but don't have anything you are mastered at all doesn't only affect the perception people have of you but also your own mental health especially when you're still an adolescent or someone entering college/work for the first time. Deciding which path you'll take is the hardest thing you might ever encounter in your life. You know how to play instruments, you're good at every subjects, you know how to fix electrical things, you know how to act, you're good at writing stories, news, opinions and all. You're good at dancing and singing. But what will you use as your career? You might say, "*Why? You have all the skills, you can choose whichever you want.*" Just think of going to an ice cream shop having only enough money to but one serving. You walk in and see lots and lots of flavors that you love. It'll be a difficult time choosing which one to eat. It might not be as hard as deciding for your path but it's how it feels. Sure it has some advantages but in the end, you still got to decide which one you'll choose. And with that decision, you would want to assure that your chkice wouldn't only cause you failure. *That's it for this article! I hope you did enjoy reading it. Click the like, comment your thoughts and subscribe if you still haven't. Have a good day ahead, everyone!* ***Thank you!***

The Shocking Truth About Butterflies *Hey guys! This is me again,* @aquariyoursxx *with another article and this time it's about butterflies! Talk about the diversion of my articles LOL~ anyway, hope you'll like it!* Butterflies are such beautiful creatures that nowadays it's accompanied with love, hence "butterflies on my stomach". Their life cycle is also used as a metaphor for a human's life and death. And of course, probably all of us wants the opportunity to have a butterfly sit on our fingers just like that. *I did too! But not already.* We all know that butterflies suck out the nectar in the flower's pollens. Nectars are liquid, also called "sugar water". It's nothing shocking. However, contrary to the beauty it gives to a flower, it gives chills and creepiness when it sits on a human skin. Why? If butterflies only depend on nectars for their survival, they wouldn't even live for long. Unknown to others is that they seek moisture in almost everything. From nectar juices, to human sweat, to moist poop and to human blood, to decomposing cadavers. ***Yes. They suck blood.*** While some suck it for moisture, others suck it mainly because they are blood- like vampire-type of reason. There are lots and lots and lots of kinds of butterflies you can see in the whole world. Not just blood and sweat-sucking butterflies. There are also those who drink urine so they can have other nutrients like sodium that they can not find in nectars. So the next time a butterfly flies over you, that means you're probably about to be a prey of a beautiful, elegant, blood-sucking flying creature. *That's it guys! I hope you learned a thing or two from my article. Don't forget to like, comment your thoughts about butterflies and subscribe if you still haven't.* ***Thank you!***

My RC Purchase Result(?) Hey guys, it's me again @aquariyoursxx but this is going to be something different. I Am Forbidden To Wear an Anklet *Hey guys! This is me again,* @aquariyoursxx with another article. I thought of writing this article due to my curiousity to each and everyone's families' beliefs. I would really appreciate it if you share yours too~! Years ago, I found this beautiful silver anklet with hearts and stars in it. (*I'll be posting a similar* *photo* *of it.)* https://www.google.com/search?q=silver+hearts+and+stars+anklets&client=ms-android-htc&prmd=isvn&sxsrf=ALeKk00fWwBTz8ZnEP8-NcYOTGKwTTV5oQ:1598164772544&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj-gr3c27DrAhXIyYsBHRf2A0EQ_AUoAXoECAwQAQ&biw=360&bih=512&dpr=4#imgrc=ZZ_N7RHdeajBBM I love necklaces and anklets so much before that's why I decided to buy it. When I got home, I took it from the bag and put it on. I was really feeling myself back then because it looks so cool on my ankle. Minutes passed, my mother noticed it and believe me when she almost shouted at me to take it off. She even told me how inpleasing it looks like. Curious why she got agitated, I asked why. Then I was shocked hearing the reason. She said that ***wearing an anklet symbolizes that your partner/ husband/ wife is giving you the freedom or the permission to have an intercourse with somebody else. The anklet is like a mark that you are already somebody's but that somebody gave you the permission to still mingle with others.*** Of course I don't believe and live up to my mom's belief since I think it's too much LOL but still up to this day, I don't wear anklets anymore so my mom wont get mad at me. I never knew such belief or symbolism exists and I am so curious what more shocking things your family believes in. I hope to talk to you more in the comments and share what's yours. *Don't forget to like if you enjoyed the article, comment and subscribe if you still haven't.* ***Thank you!*** *Lead image source* https://www.vova.com/Fashion-Silver-Anklets-Bracelet-For-Ankle-Female-Simulation-Pearl-SN1586074686497427157425680-g17274550-m18741265

Love Languages *Hey guys! This is me again,* @aquariyoursxx *with another article for all of you. Lately, I've been observing what topics I write more comfortable with and ended up with topics like this, trivial and beneficial in life. I hope you'll learn a lot~!* Everyone of us have different personalities, different preferences and perceptions. One thing we also differentiate from others is our love language. For those of you who are new to this word, ***Love Language*** is the way you percieve your love to someone, not only romantically but even in platonic relationships. Just like how most parents nag you all the time but ends up cooking delicious meals after, there are also some who frequently tells you directly how they love you. They're examples of love languages. There are five kinds of love languages. Now, what are them? 1. Words of Affirmation If you're someone who loves to recieve or give compliments, frequently tells someone how proud you are, how you love them and basically telling them words that encourages them, then your love language is this. 2. Acts of Service Like my example earlier about your parents cooking you delicious meals, that is a love language. Services can also include driving them somewhere, massage or anything you do something for them. 3. Receiving/Giving Gifts If you're the type who loves gifts or surprises then this is for you. It's pretty self-explanatory. 4. Quality Time The most important and should be practiced this quarantine. Simply doing video calls or voice calls can already be called as quality time. Dates in general, but especially home dates are also considered as quality time. 5. Physical Touch This is my top-tier. Hugs, cuddles, kisses. That's it. That's the last love language you may have. No need to explain things here. Personally, it is very important to know you and your loved ones love languages to avoid misunderstandings. I've read a lot of posts about breaking up due to misunderstandings like the Person A wants quality time but since naturally Person B is a busy person, he or she thinks giving gifts is enough. They ended up breaking up. So I hope you determined which one you have and which one your loved ones are. I hope for better understanding in this world. *Don't forget to like, comment your thoughts, let me know what yours is and subscribe if you still haven't.* ***Thank you!***

WeTransfer: File Transfer Hero + MY RC PURCHASE Hey guys this is me again, @aquariyoursxx with another article. I've been so busy since there's only a few weeks left 'till the first day of school starts. As an officer of the student body council we have so much a lot to prepare. Because of that, we've encountered different problems about the preparation including sending documents and other medias like pictures and videos. Recently, Google Mail has been acting up and even Youtube influencers are ranting about it. And here we found a hero, WeTransfer. WeTransfer is a website created for sending different forms of files through the use of sending it to an email address or through a link it'll give you. https://wetransfer.com/ The limit per upload is 2GB at maximum. You can literally send a movie file! You can choose between the two. If you choose "send an email", you'll need to give the email address. If you choose "get a link": AND DONE! This really helped us a lot since we have to transfer a lot of files from paperworks to audio files, pictures and videos. You can also make a WeTransfer account if you think you'll use it a lot more. *That's it! I hope this helped or will help you in a lot of ways. If you reached to this point, thank you for reading and don't forget to like and comment your thoughts.* ***Thank you!***

New Normal and Academic Freeze *Hey guys! It's me again,* @aquariyoursxx*. It's been days since the last time I posted here in RC. I will try my best to be as active as I was before. I hope you still support me~.* It's been 6 months already since the CoVid-19 hit the Philippines. So far people are making good progress to adjust to the new normal system in the country. However, one thing that still remains a debate is the Academic Freeze. I already have my stand in this matter however, my thoughts on this are actually stuck in between since I am someone who doesn't want any delay in my education no matter what the reason is for certain reasons, thus I want the school year to continue. But then, thinking of the unprivileged students who don't have any means for pursuing their education right now, and that's why I stand to support academic freeze. This stand of mine strengthened more earlier when our school had the Parent's Orientation via Zoom to comply with the new normal due to the pandemic. I can say that our teachers handled it very well but it's not enough to ensure parents and even students of quality education, especially for me and my batchs since this our last year before going to college. From the technicalities to the internet connection, teachers or students, it was a mess. And so how are we then supposed to learn from such problems? One more thing is that as an officer of the student body council, we really have such hard times adjusting the academic and extracurricular activities assigned to us. All plans we made prior this pandemic was gone. We may see this new normal system as a more convenient way to certain situations but this is a big crisis to students. I just hope upper-hands realize this and consider having an academic freeze. Some think that this is a petty request to avoid academics and just have fun in times of this pandemic. But coming from someone who wants to urgently finish studying for a pretty much valid reason states how we students have already thought of the consequences of a delayed education. And comparing the consequence to continuing the school year, we'd rather safely waste a year than destroying our future years through a year-long low-quality education. *If you reached here, thank you for reading my article. I would really appreciate it if you share your opinion on this matter in the comment box. Please don't forget to like and subscribe✨, tell me in the comment box so I can also subscribe back.* ***Thank you!***
