6 years ago, Daniel was opportuned to be admitted to an high school located in the suburb of my City. As a newbie, he never knew his way around so, he was as quiet as a sick dog.
It was his final year and he was transferred from his previous school to the new one because his Dad had been transferred at work to a new office.
He wasn't the only newbie around, there were five others, three arts students and two science freaks but from all, Goodlove captured Daniel's attention, he usually felt this shortage of breath each time she's in the block.
Goodlove, light skinned, Intelligent and charming with an enchanting smile that made everyone wonder if she's from the other world. She wasn't too good at mathematics but Daniel was.
Days passed by and the desire to even say a word to Goodlove kept burning in Daniel's. In his own advantage, his cousin Mary, was Goodlove's sides. One day a test was announced and every student were requested to study a particular textbook for the test, Daniel was done studying within some days and he passed the textbook to his cousin and from the cousin, Goodlove was now in possession of the book.
Hey Cousin, Where's my book, asked Daniel.. Ow! I left the book in Goodlove's custody, Mary replied. It was definitely a mixed emotion for Daniel, could this be an opportunity for me to atleast say a word to her? He thought but he was too shy to take a step.
So, instead of approaching Goodlove for his textbook, he demanded that Mary should go get the book for him. Mary did as she was told, afterall she got the book at the first place. She approached Goodlove for the book but she insisted that Daniel should come get the book himself.
Little did Daniel know that she had the same feelings for him and this was a great opportunity for Daniel.
Majestically he moved towards Goodlove, Hey Pretty, he said with a staggering tune.. Why have you been staring at me? Goodlove asked immediately.
I've been staring because you are an epitome of beauty, maybe I wasn't bold enough to say this earlier but I guess this is the right time, Goodlove blushed, wrote her mobile number on a page of the textbook with a short note, "that's my number, give me a call" and returned the book..
To be Continued....
If only it would be that easy....😌
