Two Days of Being Tired and Stress Blog #237 May 07, 2022 Hello, what's up read.cash family! It's been almost a week since I haven't published an article and today I decided to write one and hopefully, the green baby still knows me. Yesterday was supposed to be the date of travel going back home but things don't go as we wish they could be. When we reached the piers here in Cebu, so many people are waiting and some of them didn't get a chance to book a ticket because it's been fully booked since the last day and only yesterday we knew about it. We tried different ships that can give us travel but sadly there weren't any at that time. We were stressed out thinking about how we could get one but later on, we give up since it was 5 PM already. We rode a taxi and went here to my father's house. It was a tiring trip because at the pier we stand for so long and also we walked from one ticketing booth to another to inquire if there are available tickets for us. When we reached my father's house, we immediately took a rest because my feet are hurting and so too with my head. My little Adam complained too that his legs are hurting and he asked me to massage his knee going to his feet. After 10 minutes of relaxation, we went to Gaisano Mactan Island mall to see if we can inquire about flight bookings that are available for yesterday and today but sadly it was closed already so we decided to go home and think of other ways how we can book tickets before the election. This morning, we tried another ticketing store but again it was closed because it's Sunday. When I tried to book online I was shocked by the price, it was doubled or tripled the usual price and as hours passed by, it goes up and up. The price is unbelievable to me. Then this afternoon, since my father and brother went to the Waterfront Hotel near the Mactan Airport, I asked them if they could drop us at the airport so we would inquire if there is an available ticket for my partner. The first airline ticketing that we went to is the Cebu Pacific. I asked the guard if there is an available ticket for tomorrow but the available trip wasn't a direct one. It would still go to Manila before going to Cagayan so we went to another ticket which is the Philippine airline. As I entered the Philippine Airlines ticketing office, I was welcomed by the teller with a wide smile and I immediately asked her if it is available she said yes but there were only two tickets available and at the same time, it was a bit pricey. So I still asked my partner if he would take it and he said yes. He said yes not only because of the reason that he can vote for tomorrow but it's also because his boss keeps on messaging him since yesterday. We were able to get a ticket at around 2 PM and after it, we just walked from there going to the highway. It's almost 20 minutes of walking under the heat of the sun that's why when I went home, I was really tired and I feel like anytime I would collapse but thank God I didn't. Though my days are tiring, I am still thankful that I got to spend time with my father and brother here in the city.
