My convention experience
It's been a long time here,I haven't been here for a while now,one thing or another has been happening lately, okay,I have been envisaging on how I will attend our national youth convention one day and that day came this year,we had convention and I wasn't even able to come online, because I was busy with the program,i was at rccg camp in ogun state,lagos ibadan express way,wow,I had always gone for the adult convention,I have never gone for the youth convention,so this October with the help of God I went for the convention.
On the day of the convention,we were to leave by past 5am but I and my friend was at home,we heard late that the bus is taking off as early as that so we couldn't sleep in church a night before because our house is far to the church, I and my friend stayed at home and we left home 5am,we already talked to our bikeman so he can take us there, thank God we weren't one minute late,we would have missed the bus,they already took off from church so we met them at the street,we came across them,they already stopped for someone so we also got down and rushed inside,i was so happy we didn't miss the bus.
The convention was an experience I don't want to wake up from,it's was a wonderful experience,eyes opener,life changer,great men of God were invited,men of God like Apostle Joshua Selman,Pastor Ashimolowo of kicc,Pastor Daniel Olawande, our mother in israel Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye,and our General oversea Pastor E.A Adeboye.
Alot of special numbers from the youth, different tribes sang too and even stage dramas,it was awesome, all the youths that came early were logged in hostel inside the camp,we would leave the auditorium by 12or1am and get to hostel by past 1am,eat and sleep and wake up again by 5am or even 4am, some will wake up by that time and bath and go back to sleep till 6:45am and because we have to leave latest by 7am to the auditorium.
I made friends with new people,eat, laugh and pray together,I came across my old friends again,and took pictures together it was really a wonderful moment,I really don't want the convention to end but that's not possible right? Lol😊,I really don't want to wake up from all of the experience,and when the convention ended we came back home.
Don't throw stones...
**People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones**
Alot of people are well familiar with this phrase while some are not familiar with it, when you live in a glass house you cannot throw stones because if you do the stones will be thrown back at you and it will possibly break your house.
It simply means don't criticize others when you are doing the same thing, to start with why do you think you have the right to criticize other people?, irrespective of what they do, you can't be doing the same thing and still criticize or correct others, it means you don't have the right to criticize others.
People have gone through alot in life,even worse things than you can ever imagine, you don't know the beginning of their story, all you know is where they are right now, so you don't have the right to bad mouth anyone because you don't know their story.
Pointing accusing finger to someone is bad, it can be pointed back at you in so many ways, learn to know the full story, don't just jump into conclusion, bring that person back to a point of redemption, don't just criticize, it might be your turn tomorrow, what will people do for you when it gets to your own turn, whatever you sow you will reap, either good or bad, what you do to others, you will receive ten folds.
Wherever you find yourself or whatever you find yourself doing better than others is grace, don't use that opportunity to say someone else Is not doing it right ,you can make the person better rather than making the person feel bad,the reason why you are better is so that you can be useful to others, make it worthwhile. Stop the criticism.

Living like the squirrel and the acorn
This is really an inspiration thing that I learnt today, it really amuse me, the squirrel works hard everyday to get acorn's seed they can eat it but they split it into two and eat one part and store the other part in the ground so they can come back for it, but what happens when they are leave there? They end up forgetting where their stockpile is and do they same thing the next day, they always divide their acorn seed into half and one part and store the other part, they probably thought they would need it again but they end up not seeing it again and find another acorn seed to eat from the tree, but you know what? They are responsible for the growth acorn forest because once they store that acorn seed in the ground, the seed sprout into a big acorn tree and that is why there is acorn forest where there are acorn trees, because they forgot where they hid the seed they did not wait and keep searching until they find it but they looked for another one because it had be pain to keep on looking for can not be regained.
I looked at this and I realize it's hard to forget about the things of the past that hurts you but it's harder keep on holding unto it without letting it go or without forgetting about it because good things won't come out of it.
I know it's difficult but why don't you give yourself chance to heal, it's okay to cry, scream, throw things , don't hold it in, it's more difficult to bear when you hold it in, the heartbreak, pain from losing someone, maybe it's work or family pressure, heal from them, sometimes when you cry deeply you let go of pains holding you back, holding back won't make good things spring out, refresh yourselves, your mind and heart need refreshing, you can't love another if you don't love yourself first, if you don't heal from the past you can't move on, move on from your past, tomorrow has a good thing in store for you, don't loose it because of the past.
There are lots of people who are depressed because of the things that happened in the past, you are heartbroken because you expected much from someone and something bad happened out of the blue, or you lost someone close, start all over again, reschedule your plans, make appointment, do something new and move on again, alot of goodies are coming for you, don't loose them again because of what you've lost, the future is worth more than the past, a new tree cannot grow if the squirrel keep on looking for the lost acorn and if he finally finds it, he will eat and that's how it will continue without the growth of new trees, focus on the positive things that will come soon and enjoy them.

I know you really want to know what I know better,it's something almost everyone has experienced,I would say that it's not a new thing but some of it has really dealt with us and there is no going back but we can become someone better.
In an endless race to become someone important or better in our family,we all want to choose a better profession or career and even if it's not us it would be our parent choosing our career paths for us, after secondary school our parent already told us what they would want us to become in line with our will too because someone like me can't say my parents impose my course of study on me then, No they never did but what I wanted then is what they also wanted for me.
I wanted to become a doctor while growing up like every other person, while I was growing up some of my mates will say they want to become a doctor, engineer,lawyer,nurse and stuffs like that because we thought that was the only good course we have there and where we can make huge sum of money,but most times in my country what we wanted is not what we will get as a student,most of us end reading the course we do not like later, i spent good numbers of years at home because I wanted to become a doctor or nurse,my parents too did not advice to consider another course because that is what they wanted for me,they really don't want me to register for another course,but one i have always said is if I don't go for medical course then I will shift completely to food science because that is another one I love,after so many years i am back to food.
I had always love food,even when I wanted to become a medical doctor,I said I will own a restaurant too,but so many of my mates are doing what they never bargained for from the start now,and some are already in love with what they are doing now,we never knew then that it's not all about medicine or engineering or law,what don't know what life had in store for us,a lot of things we can do and make money from,now I know better,now I know that there are different jobs I can do from and also the ones I can oversea physically and make money from.
I love what I do now, I'm looking forward to making more and more money and getting better than yesterday. Anywhere we find ourselves now please focus,with hardwork and consistency you can make it even that little thing that you are doing, don't consider it little, just be consistent and never give up.

Je sais que vous voulez vraiment savoir ce que je sais mieux, c'est quelque chose que presque tout le monde a vécu, je dirais que ce n'est pas une chose nouvelle mais une partie nous a vraiment traité et il n'y a pas de retour en arrière mais nous pouvons devenir quelqu'un de mieux.
dans une course sans fin pour devenir quelqu'un d'important ou de meilleur dans notre famille, nous voulons tous choisir une meilleure profession ou carrière et même si ce n'est pas nous, ce serait notre parent qui choisirait nos cheminements de carrière pour nous, après le lycée, notre parent nous l'a déjà dit ce qu'ils voudraient que nous devenions conformes à notre volonté aussi parce que quelqu'un comme moi ne peut pas dire que mes parents m'imposent alors mes études, non ils ne l'ont jamais fait mais ce que je voulais alors, c'est ce qu'ils voulaient aussi pour moi.
je voulais devenir médecin en grandissant comme tout le monde, pendant que je grandissais, certains de mes potes diront qu'ils veulent devenir médecin, ingénieur, avocat, infirmière et des trucs comme ça parce que nous pensions que c'était le seul bon cours nous avons là-bas et où nous pouvons gagner d'énormes sommes d'argent, mais la plupart du temps dans mon pays, ce que nous voulions n'est pas ce que nous obtiendrons en tant qu'étudiant, la plupart d'entre nous finissent par lire le cours que nous n'aimons pas plus tard, j'ai passé un bon nombre de ans à la maison parce que je voulais devenir médecin ou infirmière, mes parents non plus ne m'ont pas conseillé d'envisager un autre cours parce que c'est ce qu'ils voulaient pour moi, ils ne veulent vraiment pas que je m'inscrive à un autre cours, mais celui que j'ai toujours J'ai dit que si je ne suivais pas de cours de médecine, je passerais complètement à la science alimentaire parce que c'est une autre que j'aime, après tant d'années, je suis de retour à la nourriture. j'ai toujours aimé la nourriture, même quand je voulais devenir médecin, j'ai dit que je posséderais aussi un restaurant, mais tant de mes amis font ce qu'ils n'avaient jamais négocié depuis le début maintenant, et certains sont déjà amoureux de ce qu'ils font maintenant, nous ne savions pas alors qu'il ne s'agissait pas uniquement de médecine, d'ingénierie ou de droit, que ne savons-nous pas ce que la vie nous réservait, beaucoup de choses que nous pouvons faire et gagner de l'argent, maintenant je sais mieux , maintenant je sais qu'il y a différents emplois que je peux faire et aussi ceux que je peux physiquement à l'étranger et gagner de l'argent.
J'aime ce que je fais maintenant, j'ai hâte de gagner de plus en plus d'argent et de devenir meilleur qu'hier. partout où nous nous trouvons maintenant, concentrez-vous, avec un travail acharné et de la cohérence, vous pouvez même faire cette petite chose que vous faites, ne la considérez pas comme une petite chose, soyez simplement cohérent et n'abandonnez jamais.

What do you think about age difference,is it a big deal in a relationship?
While growing up I always thought that age is a big deal in a relationship,well yes to be frank In our country the part of the world where I live,age is a big deal because everyone expects that the man should be older than the lady but not too old like someone who is old enough to be her uncle or dad.

Growing up with that mentality has made us always a male partner who is older and female partner that is younger,I was talking to my mum sometime ago and I ask if it's right to still date a guy that is younger with a year or two,I didn't specify who though but her answer told me it won't be acceptable. I actually had a friend in that situation then,she liked the guy so well but he's a year older than her,the guy told her that there is nothing wrong in that and nobody will know because he looks older than her but she was confused,a year went by before she made up her mind to date the guy and concluded that age is just a number.
I can say alot of people just say age is just a number but when they find themselves in that kind of situation,they won't know what to do,or they just won't date someone like that, reason is because of what people will say and that alone has destroyed alot of relationships,to start with we are always concerned about what people will say than our own happiness, everything we do is always about what people will say that's why you see the people overseas they don't care about what people will say,they do whatever makes them happy,if you like say it's not right or say it's right they do not care.
Life is too short to always think about what people will say,that doesn't mean you should do the wrong thing but there are alot of things people think it's barbaric and so because of that they tend to move in another direction. We always think as women that we must marry someone who is older than us, not too old but maybe a year or two or three or four,but for me I have always like someone who is a year older or two,or the same age,but some people cannot marry the same age mate,I believe if there is love and purpose and goals then it age shouldn't be a problem even though people will talk.
I had a sister then, not blood though,her friend asked me out,so he told her he liked me then but he was way older like 10years or so,so she said no,that he shouldn't disturb me that he is much older than me,well I wasn't ready so I didn't do anything about it,but I realized that is the notion of everyone,a guy must not be too old than the lady,the society has set standards we have to follow for us and children unborn, standards that doesn't matter,in that case I don't like it because I don't like someone who way older than I am but someone else might like it and decide to go for it, people might criticize that person again...
***So with this I will be throwing out a question,is age a big deal in a relationship????***
How to avoid being scammed through online dating.

Online romance is on the high side because of the frustrations people are facing daily regarding dating, some are on romance site because of family pressure or peer pressure influence,when scammer see that you are dearly in need of a relationship they strike from there,maybe when you are too vulnerable, they use your vulnerability to attack you.
I choose to talk on this because it's an interesting topic,I don't like online dating personally but if I choose to try one I will look out for all the red flags or dangers I need to avoid.
What will I do to avoid been scammed through online dating?
1. Not putting out all my information.
I will make sure all my information is not on the website or directly giving it out to the person, what do I mean by this? If all my information like financial information or career or important information is out, it will be easy for dating scammers to locate me and create friendship with me and on the long run they will end forcing their way into my life.
2. Checking out their information if it's real.
It is normal for their information to be wrong, so if anybody chat you up and tell you their name and send you thier picture too, verify their names and picture online or send it to someone who is online genius so they can help find out about them if they are real or not, most times they don't have social media profiles or if they do it will just be one picture, so you have to confirm if they are authentic or not.
3. Don't talk about how well you are doing in your career.
There are limits to things, they probably want to know if you are well off or just struggling, don't be open with them on that part, keep them in the dark, keep your personal information secret if you don't want to be scammed, if I were to be the one I will start to pick out information from the way they talk to me, they are always interested in your personal details, so try to keep that at a distance.
4. Don't send money even if they ask you or they don't.
They are very cunny and so they won't ask you immediately they start to talk with you, since they already builded trust with you over the months or even year, can I also say they can be so patient so they can get their hands on your money, they will make sure you trust them so well, so no matter how much you trust them don't send money to them, they might tell you they are doing a project or their family is sick or they want to come see you but they don't have money, always verify, don't be gullible.
***Can I also say that there are some scammers that see you physically, they already know where you are living so they know a whole lot about you, so because you are desperately in need of a relationship they come in on that ground and form a bonding relationship with you, they make sure you trust them, infact they will buy you things but they are only waiting for the time to strike. They will only strike when you've already trusted them***
How will you know if they are romance scammers.
*No 1. You can't Know where they live, when you ask them to show you their house, they will take you to an hotel, they lie by saying they just came back from the United States and they don't have a house yet, they are building one already and all manner of lies will go on, all they do most times is come to your own house and see you, you will never meet their family members, the only people you can meet is their friends.*
*No 2. They might spend lavishly on you that you will think they love you so much, they will treat you right as if there is no one again but all they are waiting for is to gain your trust and then scam you, they always go for the Rich people.*
*No 3. They end up telling you the business they started is about crumbing down and since they already told you about the business before, they expect you to give them money, or they tell you their family member need so so amount for surgery,when you ask them you want to see them,they will give you another excuse again that will make you not to see them,you need to always be careful, always watch out for all the excuses they give, they don't always come out straight all the time.*

Eating into your business won't make it grow
Most of us wants to be a business owner and grow it into something big but we are not disciplined enough to make it grow. If you consider the effort you put into it while starting that effort and passion wiill drive you to making it a success too.

I could remember when my mum wanted to a business then, she is a salary earner,so she decided to start a business because of what happened then in my state, government didn't pay workers over a year plus, some had to survive with the side business they were doing then, some even went into debt and some died due to no income at all and they couldn't survive,it was very tragic in my state then,even those that had children in higher institution paying large amount of money couldn't go further,at time we just packed into our new house so we were grateful to God that we already finished our house before the unstable government started to act up,so my mom started this small scale business then it will grow from there,it was moving well from the start but later we started eating everything we were supposed to sell,it started from I will give you the money later just give this biscuit, From there we won't pay and that was how everything went down.
My mom decided not to do that kind of business again. That has thought me alot when I started my own business,give account for everything you sell,you can't give out the things you sell even to friends on the account of friendship,if you that's how you will continue without having any gain thereby making you not to grow in that business,one of my friends will say business is business,stop eating into your business,it won't grow,no matter the type of business you are doing,you might be selling perfume,clothes or anything,I was once selling perfume but I started using it one after the other,I couldn't sell it again because I wasn't disciplined enough,if I wanted that perfume so well I should pay for it,i should account for it,not taking it for free, taking it for free means I'm eating into my gains and at the end of the day I might not even get back the amount I used in buying those things not to talk of having gains.
Be disciplined enough,it takes discipline and focus to grow a business,it takes persistence to make it a success that is the principle of business.

Empowering yourself more than anything else
Empowering yourself means to invest in yourself,we always want to ourselves in business or any other thing that gives us gain but we mostly forget our own selves in all of this.
So how can we invest in ourselves first?
Mental health
If we fail to stabilize our mental health then we can't stand well when we face failure, checking your emotional stability is one great thing you can do for yourself, even when you invest in business it will make you to reach a great height without feeling dejected, I was not stable emotionally before, if anything happens it changes my emotions through out the day thereby making me not useful through out that day because I won't be able to focus on anything but when I realize that my mental health affects all my activities I decided that I will become more stable in my emotions, I won't let anything shake me to the extent that I won't be able to do anything at all, I must put it in check.

Physical health
When we fail to eat well or exercise well,it makes us fall ill,I wasn't feeling okay some weeks back,I thought it was due to school stress and the exam I wrote then but when I got home I started getting better,my mom told me it www due to my not eating well and I wasn't exercising my body and drinking enough water,I realize what she was saying is true because I can't face all that stress without eating well,I was so consumed with the things I was doing (assignment, lectures) that I don't eat to class most times and even when I am supposed to cook good food I will just cook simple food and eat,and that will be all for the day, eating fruit too is really good for the body,it gives you freshness and vitamins that your body needs, exercising is a great way of investing in yourself,you need to exercise daily or thrice in a week to keep your body in check ,try and invest in your health.
Find a mentor
Find a mentor that will lead you right, someone you are accountable to always, don't just live your life like that, someone who will tell you how they are doing great, someone you can follow their footsteps and be successful in life.
Read books
This is one thing you need to do often to invest in yourself,you have to read books,read inspiring books, motivational books or spiritual books, what you read always will be in your mind and it will surely make who you will become, leaders are readers and readers are leaders,if you want to lead you need to read books so that when you even get to a large gathering you will know what to say at all times.

Not getting what you want.

Don't worry about not getting what you want now, sometimes there might be a good reason why you shouldn't have it.
My dad will sometimes say not everything a child ask for is good for them,you don't have to give them everything as a parent,even if that thing they are asking for is good for them later but wouldn't be good for them at that present moment you decline it. It's not because you don't love the child but because you don't want it to destroy the child at that moment.
Remember life is govern by principles and we definitely must follow that principle no matter what. I could remember back then while I was growing up I asked one of my aunt for something and she said no that she won't give me,not that she doesn't have It but I was sad then,when I grew up I realized the lesson she was trying to teach me then was for my own good and it really taught me well.
Sometimes you should consider yourself lucky for not having that thing you desire because it you do,it might be dangerous to you or people around you. Let me give an example I was talking with one of my friends and he said thank God he was rich when he wanted to become rich,he said he would have become proud and he won't have known the value of it,he said he would dated different kind of women because of the money and no one would be able to talk to him,but now he knows better and he can handle it. There was also a woman who was praying to God over a visa she got to work in Dubai,it was from someone but because It looks good she wanted to go but something kept her praying about it, not too long those who went were deported back and there was no job for them again in that company,they had to start searching for job all over again, then she was thankful she did not go.
Maybe the reason why you are not gaining that admission yet is for your own good,you might think it's unfair but there might a reason why you should thank God for not having it yet, like me my admission was late,I was always brooding,I wasn't happy,but my mum will always say it's just for a reason and I shouldn't give up or cry over it,i decided to do something else,I can say it was the year I transferred my energy to learning handwork I got the admission,I wasn't even expecting it, it was a great blessing, it came in at a time that I already have something to do even if I go to school,I won't be stranded. It really taught me alot.
You might be missing out on that job because it's not for you or it's not yet time, there are so many things we desperately want that won't do us any good if we have it, not having it might be another way of telling you to be grateful because it might be bad for you if you eventually get it.

The beauty of falling is rising again.

We as humans are afraid of falling,and because of that we are always careful, doing things so we won't fall,we can't be too careful,we can't. Life is just like that,once in our lives or many times in our lives we can fall but the beauty of it is rising up each time we fall. When I listened to this great singer Beyonce she said she was rejected 46 times but people see her now and said she has received award 23 times, It means she never gave up,I looked at that and I said to myself do I even have the strength to go on like that, rejected the first time, rejected the 10th time, rejected 20 times and on and on till 46 times and after that she was accepted,wowww,she never let that rejection mare her glory,I know during those times she would have felt discouraged but still she decided to move on and fight it.
Nelson said the greatest glory is rising after falling, yes we will fall,we will fail,we will face rejection but what Matter the most is facing it squarely again,not letting what others say get to us, telling yourself no matter how many times you fall you will definitely rise again, some don't even have the motivation to go on, motivate yourself,most of your friends will not motivate you,they will only mock you,they are waiting for you to give up so they will have something to say,ask yourself will you let them mock you at the end of everything? Some people are even rejected by family members, because your family feels you are doing nonsense,they don't understand yet and because of that you want to give up, please don't give up,if you give up they will know you are not even serious in the first place but when you thrive and you make it at the end they will join hands and celebrate you.
You don't need alot of people to believe in your dreams,you only need yourself alone because there will be times you will fall and fail but because you believe in yourself you will definitely rise again. When you look at the lives of people at the top,they didn't get there in a day, most of them has fallen several times but what makes them different from other people is that they rose up again to fight until they get there,they didn't stop or give up half way,they made sure they repeat that process until they made it big. And that is the difference between them and the poor masses, alot of people after falling easily give up,and because of that they end up in one position,they never gave it all their might,Rome is not built in a day it requires hard work and consistency.

It simply means monitor your children closely,I know parenting is not an easy task but there rules guiding it too. There was one of my friends that told me what made him really loose while growing up was the kind of film he watched then,he said there was this particular American movie that he watched then,it was a movie but it was full of adult doings,he said that was the first time watching it and immediately he did,it corrupted his mind, he was in jss3 then,he decided to try it out,he got a girlfriend that Same week from his class because it's a mixed school and because the girl liked him very much then she gave him what he wanted and that was how he tried it out himself.
What does it mean,it means what he watched deposited a bad idea inside him,he doesn't know how to control It because he was still young then,kids are easy to manipulate,their minds can be manipulated easily irrespective of the homes they come from, especially when they don't have good friends too, don't say you don't want to bump into their lives,if you don't whose life do you want to bump into? They are your kids and they need the proper guiding,you need to monitor all their steps, they are not old enough,ask them questions, don't be too harsh and too lenient with them, always check whatever they want to watch,the songs they listen to and all,in this present world the songs that is produce now always corrupt the mind,guide them strictly against listening to those kind of music,they should only listen to music that will edify the spirit.
Children are like time bomb,they just need a little thing to explode, and once they do it will take another extra effort to get them back on track and that's if you can get them back on the right track,there was a story then about a maid who will always watch this adult movie in front of the kids and she will make them do the same thing that was happening inside that movie until they grew up,the parents don't know,there was a day the mother came back earlier than usual,that was how she what the maid and are kids are doing,she almost fainted, but it was too late because the two kids(brother and sister) are already used to each other,the parent couldn't separate them,they sent the boy abroad and it led to the death of the girl.
That is how dangerous it is to always leave your kids with maids or uncles/aunts without looking back,when you ask this kids alot of them have episode with Uncles especially female children,I did that interview with my female friends and they all had everything to say about uncle's immorality,it's not fair, some parents are too careless, take out time to visit that child when she/he doesn't know,ask them questions, make sure you are friendly when doing that.

Can we really be contented?
Contentment:I have thought about this word several times,can we really be contented with the things we have? Is it really that simple and easy? To me I believe those words are used just make ourselves feel good because alot of people will say it's good to be contented with what you have,to be contented means you are contented with everything you have,no need to move forward? Okay when you ask the rich why they are working so hard they always say it's for their family but the issue still remain that they already have more than enough to take care of their generation but still they want to make more money,that is the irony of life, everyone wants to be contented but then they want more and more everyday.

We want to build house,buy cars,have a huge business we are doing or want to do,we all want to increase in all phase of life,that's the good thing of life,we can't remain stagnant and say we are contented with our position, someone might see a car and say I like this car I wish I can buy it,you want a good thing for yourself and you can still say you are contented with what you have,a person who moves higher can never be contented with what you have,when you see people who making waves they are always doing better, they always want to do more, maybe as a staff they get promoted to manager,they will strife again to be the chief executive officer,they won't relax because they got the Manager position, until they get to the topmost position, they won't stop,so that's the way we humans are wired,we can never be okay with what we have,we always strive to get more.
Not being contented here doesn't mean you are a bad person,it simply means you are not made for failure, you are made for something great, you are made for a brighter and better future so you can't be content with that poverty,lack of good things or that lower self esteem,you can't be content with you been at the back,you will hear some people say "I'm contented with where I am" oh mine! Are you for real? When you ask them where they are,they are definitely contented with been a cleaner at some company or house,at 50+ years some people are still going to school because they want to be promoted at work, but you are still in your twenties and you are saying you too old to go school,wow! Really?? You need to buckle up,move forward, don't remain where you are,set goals and standards,and enjoy your life.

How my end of semester ended.
Good afternoon everyone,it's been a while here,last week and this week has been hectic for me,we started our exams last two weeks but this week has been draining my strengths, coupled with the fact that I'm not feeling well,prior to the last day of my exam I have been feeling pains in my stomach,it was draining my strengths, though this semester has been rough for me, like it has been really really rough for me,health wise and financial wise too,but that health was something else,I was just always down,it wasn't fun at all,this semester took another toil on me,when it was the morning of my last paper,I was feel like vomiting and that was how I couldn't do anything.

I managed to get to the exam Hall and write my paper,I was just praying silently that I must finish my exam before I feel totally weak,I was still writing my exam when the lecturer in charge pointed to my friend from the front to stand up,he stood up and she was like he should bring out what he was copying from,he was like he wasn't copying from anything,she said he should bring everything from his pocket,he brought out his phone and one small paper like that,I was like why will he put his phone inside his pocket, he's fond of doing that thing,a day before that day we still told him to always put his phone inside his bag or mine,the lecturer did not believe he wasn't writing anything from his phone,we his friends couldn't even write anything,we were just concerned about him,he kept on begging the woman that his mind was not there to drop his phone inside his bag,the woman already mentioned it immediately we entered the exam Hall,that hope we are not holding our phones,I guess his mind wasn't there,we trusted him,we know he can't do something like that,he is brilliant and doesn't have the mind to do something like that,we already said if the woman did not unsign what she signed on his paper that we will all go and stand as witness 😂.
She didn't collect his paper and said he should finish his work,but she signed on his paper, after the exam he told her to check his phone and check all the questions he answered,that was when she realized he wasn't actually cheating,he even told her to give him another script and question paper that he will answer everything alone,we know it's sure for him,he will answer everything without anyone telling him anything,that was how the woman succumbed and cancelled our what she signed,he wanted to cry already but he held it in,it was funny and not funny too, after the exam we told him next time he won't put his phone inside his pocket again when we are about to write exam.
After that I went to pack my load,he helped me with the packing because I couldn't carry the load,that was how I left school for home,when I got home,my mom was amazed of how lean I have become,it wasn't easy,this time I want to rest,eat well, sleep well,so I can recuperate well for next semester,I want to regain all lost weight and be okay again.
That was how my end of semester went...

Weigh your value through your skill
People mostly talk about the value they have based on the money they have spent acquiring it,not based on the skills they have,when you compare a secondary school teacher who has the skill but only has bsc to another teacher who has master's degree but doesn't really have the skill, parents will pick the one with master's degree rather than the one who has bsc alone,you know why? They only think about the degree even if it's bought with money,they don't think about the skill,the reason why some companies only want workers with experience leaving the certificate out because they know alot of people acquire the certificate through money.
The value of your money must be proved,in what sense? If you want people to get down with you and get to see what you can do,you have to prove yourself other than the certificate you are carrying up and down,what can you offer? That is what they want to know, like my example in the first paragraph,when such parent pick a teacher with master's degree but no skill,they will be disappointed and later go back to the one with bsc because he/she has the skill to teach their kids and that's exactly what they are looking for,no one is interested in what you are carrying or empty words,they want to see you in full action,they want to see the work of your hands,they want to weigh your value through your skill.

That is why your experience counts alot to alot of companies because they are not looking for figureheads but people who will push their company forward,let use food company as an example, maybe you are applying as a food researcher/analyst and you don't even know what you can do,all you know is hold your certificate,have you ever tried researching on your own? Like during your leisure time? As a researcher have you tried to come up with new food,find things about the food that others don't know about and write them down,have you tried producing on your own? Even if you don't have a company to work for yet,have you tried working for yourself? Or is it when you get into that company that you will start working,proving yourself to be of value to that company is really important.
There are alot of things you need to ask yourself before they even ask you, Like why should they accept you? How will their company move forward when you are there? What new things will you bring to their notice? Working hard and working smart is different but in this case you will need to work the both.

Why some people haven't achieved their new year resolution yet?
Hello everyone,it's another new month again,wow,we are gradually ending 2022 again,what a great year for me, January started just like yesterday when everyone shouted happy new year,new year new resolution 😂,if I start to ask now what was their new year resolution and what have they achieved now, some Haven't even achieved anything yet but there was a resolution at the beginning of the year, what really happened?
What happened was that some wasn't bold enough to start what they wanted to do then,fear overtook their thinking and let it rule In the affairs of their lives,they felt they weren't good enough and left that which they were suppose to do.

Some people were misled by friends,the so called friends that doesn't want you to move forward,they will be the ones to give you advice not to start yet because you are not good enough,they truely know you are very good if not the best but because of jealousy they wouldn't want you to move higher than them,cut ties with them it's not too late,you can start now it's not too late,start regardless of what people say, don't be discouraged,you can do it.
While some people just wanted to follow the crowd by writing new year new resolution,there was actually nothing new they want to do,all they were doing is follow follow, some do not even have plans for their lives,all they do is live their lives the way it comes, nothing new or special,you need to change! Have a target, strive hard to meet that target! If you don't have a plan or Target it will be difficult to make it in life,have plans,have goals.
And lastly PROCRASTINATION, procrastination is a deadly virus, always saying tomorrow,I will do this tomorrow,I will do that tomorrow,what about doing it now? What about doing it now? in ten years to come you will realize what you should have done before and should be giving you result is what you will start to do then, procrastination is a waste of time,waste of plans and goals,stop procrastinating,start doing that thing now, don't wait to have much before you start,you can start now!
You have wasted so much time since the beginning of this year,but the sun out there can still dry that cloth,start making that plan,start achieving it, don't wait for nobody.

What do you do when you suddenly need to pay for something? This boils down to my question,do you have an emergency savings? I mean when you are in any kind of emergency,do you have money for that? Alot of people don't,most times we all spend our money,even when we save we still spend it later due to brokeness or something that is not even urgent that we want to use the money for.

I heard a preacher say whatever he wants to buy in December he already started saving since January because he knows it's a must that he must celebrate the Christmas and he won't start running Helter skelter in November,he would have started since January,he has plans for the future,I try to put that in my culture too, starting to plan ahead before I do something,it's boils down to the future.
What is emergency savings?
Emergency savings is money saved for emergency purpose not for any other spending than emergency, emergencies like things you cannot avoid but pay for or else it might cause havoc to you or your family. This type of money is not touchable,you have to keep saving so the money will be enough for whatever emergency that comes tomorrow,you can't spend out of it on any occasion for any other reason than emergency.
The reason why alot of people are always handicapped whenever it comes to money is because they don't think about the future,they believe let us earn and spend everything, nothing else matters,that is the worst thinking ever,most of those people always regret at the end that they don't have any savings at all,my parent once told me and my siblings that when they first got married there was enough money that they will even keep packs of money inside the house,they never thought of investing or saving for future purposes,all they do is eat and dress well,and there was no one to tell them to do better,they didn't build house then or own a company,it was later when we started growing up that they thought of buying land, thank God they did,they bought like three different lands,if they didn't we might not have had a house of our own now but my mum is still regretting that she didn't invest in any business then,she was just focused on her government work,not knowing everything will turn out this way,not knowing our government will be like this.
The more reason why we have to invest in our future,invest in business,have emergency savings is because we don't know what the future holds,we never can tell what the future holds,we don't know how it will turn out, things might be working out well today but what about tomorrow,have you thought about your future children? Your generation? Will they pray for you or the other way round? Think about that...

Learn to listen more than you speak
Wow it's 4 month already,how time flies, it was just like yesterday when I started day 1,I was then looking forward to one month then I clocked one month and now four months,wow,I just want to use this medium to thank the Almighty God for always giving me inspiration to write and also my co-writers here too,thank you for always standing by me,the likes of @Olasquare @Princessbusayo @wakeuplincs and all others I did not mention too,you are really sighted. I want to say a big thank you to @TheRandomRewarder for always remembering and never forgetting me.
So let me move on to the purpose of today's writing,it's all about listening more than talking.

Most times when people talk to us,we are always in a hurry to end the discussion by telling them ours or replying to what they have to say without thinking of how it will affect them or not,most of the time when people decided to tell us about something,all they are saying is please can just listen? Listen to me,listen to the intent of my heart,don't judge me too quickly,help me find solution to this,these are the things going on their minds, always be reserved,listen more,too much talking rather than listening can cause danger,life is not all about you or your personal matter, it's about other people too.
We should always listen to understand not just to speak,we should listen with curiousity, like what is the real meaning of what the person is telling you,what does the person want you to do about it, don't just jump into conclusion and decide the fate of the person with your mouth, I know in this world we are there some people that design what's happening to you through what you tell them, I mean even if you are lying they will tell you to speak the truth because they can read you psychologically, while some people will not even Know what's happening but they would have concluded on that, let's give other people the chance to talk to us, the chance to approach us easily, you never can tell what that your neighbor is going through, because he/she smiles at you doesn't mean everything is going on well with them, some are just bottling it up because they don't know who can give them listening ear, and because you are always frowning your face they think you are not approachable,learn to smile too and be a listening ear to others.

There is a phrase that says time waits for nobody,we all know that's true because as the clock ticks it never goes back,it's always moving forward,I got this motivation from this great artist song "Simi" selense- where she talked about time,a lady who opens her shop early in the morning and decided to sleep without doing anything,let's take a fashion designer for an example,she has a load of unsew cloth in her shop but kept postponing it till the owner comes and then she realized she has wasted alot of time slacking off,or a man who knows that he is going to work the next morning but decided to drink to stupor that night and then when morning comes he will still be sleeping and start lazing around.
Time really is a gift,we should treat it as such,it doesn't stop or pulse,we should know that procrastination is a deadly virus, nothing good comes out of it,when you are suppose to start a business and you kept postponing it,I will start tomorrow or next,it simply means you will never start because you will keep giving excuses as to why you didn't start the previous days,for instance a student who has examination next month should start reading this month, while some will start reading before the exam, we all know our capacity, some will take the book and read a day to the exam and will grab everything while some will have to read like 10times before they grab it, someone like that should have started reading but some will keep postponing it, I will read tomorrow, when tomorrow comes, it will be postponed to the next day, at the end of the day they won't read anything before the exam, they will end up regretting,wishing they still had more time, but the truth is they already had enough time but they didn't make use of it, make use of the time now, it waits for no man.
Okay probably you think you are still young to do alot of things, before you know it,you will be 25years,30years,35years and you keep counting... Things you should have done,the offices you should have established before 30,you will realize you haven't even done anything at that age and then you start wishing time should reverse back,it will never reverse back,those times in movies where time will be reversed back is just movies ooo,Lol,this is real life, focus on doing the right thing at the right time so you won't regret not doing it.

Today's topic is about saving and spending,what is saving? Saving is keeping some part of your profit for future purpose or emergency,we tend to spend more than saving, naturally we are great spenders,we want to look good,eat good food,but expensive things but have you asked yourself if that thing you want to buy is really your need,today my pastor said if you want to buy something and you check your pocket and there is no money left and it's just that money you want to use to buy something that is remaining then you are not yet fit to buy that thing,if you don't have times two or triple of that money left then you are not fit to buy that thing.
Most times the reason why we don't save is because you want people to know that you have alittle cash on you,you buy things that you don't need,how do you expect yourself to build wealth for the future when you buy everything that comes your way,you cannot take your eyes off them,you spend more than your budget anytime you go to the market,I was like that before, let's assume I took 10k to the market and I decided to spend nothing more than 5k but because the cloth or perfume or shoe I'm seeing looks nice,I won't know when I will spend all my 10k on that and at the end of the day I will always regret that I spent more than I my budget,so I devise a means that anytime I want to go to the market I will always take my exact money for my budget and nothing more,it has really helped me alot
I saw actually know someone that has iPhone but can't subscribe because he is broke,their ladies using Brazilian wig and yet they are very broke,why? Because they just want to impress their friends,so that people will think they are big boy or girls,why buy things you don't need,they are not necessities of life,they are just luxury you don't need now,what they do is to make you poorer,learn to save for the future, don't use all ten fingers to eat,don't! Learn as you grow.
Many people cannot save,they will tell you they might not see tomorrow,I have seen someone say that but wait ...... Why do you think some people have a very shallow mentality? Like it baffles me alot. What if you see the next hundred years to come and you didn't die,it simply means you might live your years in poverty,you should know how to save more than spending on luxury,trust me there will be alot of money later that you will use and buy luxury but for now that you don't have much,you should invest and save for the latter days.
Don't get too overwhelmed with things happening around you,it will pass,all those things will pass,it comes with time, Brazilian wig,cloth,phone,they will come with season and their season will definitely pass, another iPhone, Samsung will be manufactured,so kill yourself over things that have time,they will leave one day,use today to invest and save.

What pranks or tricks have I fallen for?
Today has been stressful for me, we had GET drawing today,it was added to our course this semester,it is a borrowed course,I really do not even know why we had to do it,it's really frustrating for me,infact for almost all of us in my department,the drawings were technical, I'm really tired right now but I had to do this before I rest.
So let me move on to the topic for today.
**What pranks have I fallen for**
Okay, there is one I can remember,there is this friend of mine that is always funny and stubborn too,we call her scatterer of my department due to her stubbornness and also there is no dull moment around her, everywhere is always lively when you are with her,so there was a day I said I wouldn't go for lectures,so I just wanted to stay at home and rest,we didn't have much to do,so as I was resting,I just saw her call and I pick up,she was like we are having test soon,I said she should stop joking,she said she was serious,and she sounded very serious,she said I shouldn't joke with what she said and I should rush to school,that was why I rushed to school o,on getting to school I realized she was just pranking me,ohh mine!!! I feel like slapping her that day,it wasn't funny at all.
Another one is when I was a little girl,and I think this trick is used mostly for alot of us when we were kids, anytime visitors come and whenever they are going they give us money but our parent will always collect that money from us. So one day one of my uncle came and gave us money,so when he left my dad was like we should bring it that we shouldn't worry because he will use the money and buy us things, he's always collecting it and always told us he's Saving it for us,so most times I will always give him to save it for me since he said he will use it and buy beautiful things for me,that was how I asked for all my money one day o and he said am I not eating in his house? The clothes nko and everything,that was how I was tricked and he didn't give me my money 😁.
So for now I can't really remember alot but I have fallen for alot of tricks and pranks but this is the two I can come up with, sometimes those who prank us just do it to because they want to laugh or sometimes they might think you are foolish but in all they are still our best friends.

What would I throw away; love or money???
Wow,this is a tough question to answer, love is very important and money too can't be thrown away, like...who lives this life without money? No one,the fact is that we all need money to do one thing or another,but the question says which one can I throw away?
Let me analyze it from my own view,love is very important,love from family,love from lover or friends can't be underemphasized,we need love from people,how do we live when no one loves us,well some are living that way but believe me it's not bearable for them because it's just like castigating someone, like outcast, people that are thrown out of a community,you know how they live after that,when they know that no one wants them, some might end up dying from depression,so love can't be overlooked.
Okay let me now talk about the real love we are talking about here,it's a lover's love, like relationship,love is very important in this life, sometimes some people wants to stay single because of what they already experienced in their past relationships so they are not willing to experience another pain or sorrow,love comes with alot of things,hand in hand like happiness, sometimes sadness,joy, peace of mind or heartbreak,so love might not really easily like that.
While on the other hand money at least can buy 80% happiness,when there is no money everywhere will be dull, school fees, family and even relationships,money makes things Sweeter,I can't use love to buy things even if it's sweet,it's only money I can use,I have experienced times without money and times with money in my family and I know the difference, everywhere is always joyful when there is money,I love to hear money always 😁,but it's difficult to choose one out of the two, because I want to love and also have money 😂😋,well...if I could choose I will choose money, money..... sometimes love comes with heartbreak and sadness,so I will choose money.

We are in times where people think and say things about another person, either true or not,they just have this idea even if they are not close to that person,ideas that are positive or negative will either align with that person's life or it won't.
So I have few misconceptions of people about me that I want to share with you.

**Misconceptions that I am rich**
Sometimes I just feel like bursting, like why will you think I'm rich,this has really caused me alot back then,I can still remember when I finished my secondary school and I wanted to start working, at least before I gain admission into the university I will make some cool cash,so I had to meet this woman because she needed someone to help her out at her place of work,so when I got to her place I told her I needed the job,she looked at me and said "ahh no oo, I can't employ you o,you are my boss o,how much will I pay you,you are much more than what I will pay you" jeeeezzzzx!!! Who does that?? I was not happy at all,why will she conclude like that,that was unfair because I needed the job badly then but she didn't give me the job.
Even some of my friends or people I know always think that I have money, like for real,fine I agree I am not poor but they don't understand that what they are thinking is not true, sometimes I look at myself and say to myself that how do I look rich,why do they have that misconception,I really it's human job to always have this kind of thought about another.
**Another misconception is that I'm good looking and so I can't be single**
You say what again!? Like how do some people think,why will they think like that,must I be in a relationship? Even when I wasn't in a relationship, I have heard people say countless times that it's not possible for me not to be in a relationship, like really? Why is it not possible,if only they know the stress that comes with relationship, relationship is not a easy task,it takes time.
**The ideology that I am too gentle**
Well to some extent yes but I'm not gentle to the extent that you override me, people think I am too gentle so they always want to use that opportunity to try me but whenever they do they get their fair share of it, that's when they know that I don't take rubbish, I'm gentle but not gentle too😁.

Wow,A perfect day differs in all,mine can be different from yours,to some their perfect day is to stay at home and watch movies or listen to music without any Disturbance, some people's perfect day is to go shopping, to some people it's all about money.i can say a perfect day for me is when my prayers are answered,when my wishes come true,when I help others,when the day is peaceful for me all through,that is my perfect day.
**What superpower will I choose to have if I am to choose one?**
Superpower superpower superpower! Lol... I would love to read minds,there was a Yoruba movie I watched at the beginning of this year,only those that are conversant with bunkumi's film will know that film, "Jankariwo" ,there are identical quadruplet in that film,they all have superpower,but the one who read minds is the one I love most, being able to read minds is another level entirely, knowing what the next person is planning towards you is what I love,either they are thinking about good thing or bad thing, you will know who is your real friend or fake friend,you won't fall for deceit,woww,what a great superpower! There are numerous reasons why I would love to have this kind of superpower,this is how to live sometimes in this world 😁.
**If I had to relocate,where would it be?**
In this country right now most people want to relocate,it's not easy,money is still stopping alot of people from relocating, some will even say if they see any opportunity to leave they won't come back till the next 20years, some will even say they won't come back again,but I keep asking why won't you come back again,at least once,what about your family, won't you come and say hello,for me I will come back once in a while to check how things are here,if I had to relocate I would choose Paris in France,or Canada ,that's where I would choose.
**What age would be perfect for marriage?**
Well,I believe any age from 21,as long as you are matured enough to carry everything that comes with it,you are good to go,not because of family or because of peer pressure,if that is the reason then it's not a good reason but if you are really matured in all aspects then there is nothing stopping you from getting married.

What is love without sacrifices? Sacrifices come hand in hand with love,you cannot profess love without sacrificing for that love. In this new age alot of people profess love just on the alter of decieving one another,in that kind of love their won't be sacrifices,it will only involve material things, genuine love should be able to stand the test of time,if it doesn't stand the test of time it's not true.

Sacrifices can be in a relationship, family or friends. To show how loving and sacrificing our parents are,they already alot for us,to show us how much they love us, sometimes they might not eat but they will make sure you we eat,there are so many instances that my parents have sacrificed alot for me and my siblings,there were times my mum would need to buy something and it might really be important, and that will be the time I would need something in school or my fees,she will have to sacrifice what she need and pay for my fees at that point in time.
Siblings can sacrifice for each other, but in a situation whereby they don't love each other,they will find it really hard to do something tangible for themselves. When siblings love themselves,they put aside their own interests,and work towards the interest of another. Love without sacrifices is nothing, love without sacrifices doesn't go deep,love sometimes makes you compromise, sacrifices sometimes can involve compromises,things you think you can't do or don't want to do,you might end up doing them for love,alot has given up so many for love and and they are not gaining back that energy.
If you are giving in your all in a relationship and your partner is taking it for granted please find your way outta that relationship,it is not healthy for you. Sacrifices should be from both sides, love, kindness,honesty, faithfulness should be from both sides.
Even with friends,"there is a friend that sticketh closer than family", sacrifices are made in friendships too,for a friendship to last longer alot of sacrifices will have been made. Just like when Jesus sacrificed himself for us,his love for us made it possible even it was difficult. Sacrifices can be difficult,infact it's not always easy but it's worth it when love is involved. You don't just love with mouth, your actions must show you love someone or your family or friends.
Sacrifices can really go a long way if you love someone. Let genuine love lead.

It's a beautiful morning again,I would love to write about where I would love to travel to if I had the chance, currently we all know how things are in this country, travelling out wouldn't be a bad idea.

I would love to visit this place to view the magnificent building,it would be a lovely sight to behold,I heard it is 160 storey building,the tallest building in world.

Seeing this picture makes it more fascinating,the structure of the building is really great sight to see,I would really love to visit this place,it would be a great adventure for me,a premium hotel, checking out the rooms wouldn't be a bad idea.

Woww,this shopping mall is a Banga,I really want to go there,alot of people come there to see the place,even tourists,i really want to see it.

Dubai opera is an art and cultural center,it's a place I would love to go,beauty of the place,the lights and everything is really nice.

Who wouldn't love to see a lovely place like the beach, taking a day off to enjoy oneself in such a beautiful place is not a bad idea,as in look at how the setting is, enjoying yourself here will make you forget your problem for that day😂,it's a place I won't miss out on,I will surely find my way to the beach.
There are also places I would love to go in this world like Paris in France, Australia,and some places too but for now this place is where I would love go.

Lessons learnt in life.
Okay I learnt alot while growing up, either From my friends, family or people I see afar of that are not close to me.
**First lesson learnt is never to trust anyone**
Alot already dug their graves by trusting everyone they come in contact with, the ones you trust sometimes are enemies that you need to stay away from,my dad once told me a story of how he gave his friend money to buy ticket for him,he said we were kids then so he wanted to travel out of the country so he can come back and take his family with him,he said his friend bought the ticket then but for himself and travelled outside the country with my dad's money,my dad said he trusted him and he never thought that the man can do something like that,it was a painful experience for him,so my dad will always tell us never to trust anyone because people are dangerous. So I have always learnt the lesson that no matter how close you are to me you can still turn against me sometime.
**Second lesson learnt is to be discreet**
Be secretive,life has taught me to be discreet,alot of times only the result will tell but be discreet about the processes, don't make noise,an empty drum makes the loudest noise,let your success speak by itself,I always have a story to tell when it comes to my dad or his family,he will always tell us different story so as to learn from it,he said his father,that's my grandmother built a house in ibadan in the 70's he said when his father wanted to roof the building he went to the village to call one of his family that is a carpenter just to let him know he was already building a house then,he said as big as ibadan is he didn't see any carpenter there,he had to go back home to call one of his family,that was how that one came back and narrated everything to their people,for people who know what I'm talking about,that was how the government of ibadan back then gave him two weeks to vacate the apartment,they bulldozed the house and said my grandfather shouldn't build house there,my grandfather came back home and everything ended there. They left ibadan that month,that really taught me a lesson to be discreet,not everyone wants you to succeed in life,not everyone that smiles with you want you to achieve anything,learn to be discreet.
**The third lesson I learnt is never to expect anything back in return for your kindness**
Always do good and never expect it back, because if you expect it back it might hurt you badly, don't expect people to be kind to you in return because human will always be human. Just help others with a free mind.

Let me start with @Olasquare I always look forward to reading his articles,there are lessons learnt, motivational,even poems, sometimes I wonder how he could come up with those wonderful poems,how easy it is,they are really inspiring, some of his articles have taught me so much,even sometimes when I don't know what to write,his articles inspires me to write something,I'm so glad I met him here,even apart from his articles the way he replies and everything makes him Wonderful too.
Another person I would like to pick is @Princessbusayo she's really an inspiration,there was a 30 days challenge she did then,she's always meeting up till the end of the challenge,her devotion is top notch,I always like to read her article,she really has great contents.
I love reading @Pearlkel stories too,his fictions are always interesting, there are some stories I have read written by some people but I might not find them really interesting,but I find his stories really interesting and inspirational,I always looking forward to his stories, there was one episode story he wrote one time like that,I was not tired of it,I always look forward to the next episode,it was really inspiring.
I also love reading @Pantera Post,he is always talking about bch,I always love to read his contents because I want to know more about bch or Bitcoin,his monthly reports and also motivation to keep writing,his contents are really great content,he is one of my favorite authors here on readcash.
@jane cannot be left out,I always love reading her content too,all her travel picture are really captivating,I don't always want to miss out on all her contents, looking forward to more of them.

Our beliefs about Mondays and Fridays.
It's another beautiful monday morning where everyone rush to one place or another,a day that alot hustle more than the rest of the week,Monday what a wonderful day, some even believe that if you don't work on Monday then you are lazy and no food for the lazy man,I tag Monday to be a successful day for people,a day that holds result,even if some people don't even have work to do,they must surely leave home on Mondays so they won't be tagged lazy and unserious fellow.

Why will you stay home on a Monday morning??? Where everyone rush to their place of work, Monday gives this vibe that you must work even if there is no work,I could remember when I was in secondary school,as a student I can't stay at home on Mondays, during the weekend everyone is expected to work hard and do whatever they want to do and get prepared for the new week, so no one is expected to stay at home on Mondays because if any student stay at home on They are tagged unserious students. If peradventure I want to stay at home I can stay at home on Friday, so we already had this belief starting from when we were kids to adulthood that Mondays are for serious minded people not lazy ones, so we always want to meet up to that task.
Let's talk about Friday,Friday is always an unserious day,a day people give themselves off day from work or school, people already have this notion that Friday is a day they can enjoy themselves,stay at home or find another thing to do. Friday is always a good day,as a student now,all our lectures ends on Thursday, we don't always have lectures on Friday so it's always a stay home for us. I love Fridays most times, it gives me chance to take care of myself.

Funny moments in my family
Hello everyone,it's been a long time,I have really been busy,I couldn't even squeeze out time at all,coupled with the fact that we suffering from no light in my area,it's really bad. I really missed everyone and everything here,i missed those wonderful write ups by @Olasquare @Princessbusayo @Maryjacy and everyone I couldn't mention,you are all sighted.

So moving on to the funny times we had in my family, remembering all those things makes me laugh,I really wish all those memories we had then can come back to reality.
I remembered when I was little,when everyone finished eating,my dad was sitting on a chair and my mum was watching the TV series,so my mum turned to talk to my dad,my dad head to bowed down,he didn't say anything,so my mum was like Maybe he is sleeping until my mum pushed him and he fell back to the chair,my mom shouted,we all rushed outside like what's happening,my dad just opened his eyes and started laughing,my mum was like what was the meaning of that stunt he pulled,that she doesn't like it,she was like my dad should not play with something like that again,we all started laughing later, remembering what makes me laugh again,it's really funny and I miss my dad now.
There was another one that I can remember back then when my elder brother was little,I don't know what happened to him that he packed all his bags and said he wanted to go and stay with my grandma,it wasn't funny that day,he wrote down a letter and gave it to me that I should read it when he leaves the house,I as a curious person from my childhood days, immediately he stepped out of the house he hasn't even left the compound I decided to check the letter,I didn't finish what I was reading when I ran outside to hold him,I told him not to go,I was crying,I couldn't control my tears,my parents were not home at that time,my dad met us there,he wanted to beat me because I was crying,omo.... Anytime I remember that time I always laugh,even sometimes when my elder brother was still with us I will joke about that and we will all laugh.
There are alot of things that happened back then,I can't mention all,I can't even remember all, funny things that happens in the family,I believe everyone always have that experience too.

Internet and it's impacts on us.
It's really a stressful day for me,this week is our foodweek and we had to do some awareness so that people will know what we will be doing,we went to some of the lecture rooms where students are and we did some awareness,to me it was kinda boring because at first our hod said we should not play music,so alot of us left but some waited,we later played music and it became lively.
Now let's move to the real business of today.

How is internet affecting us positively and negatively?
Internet is really vast,it's impacting lives positively and negatively, while I was growing up I only know those olden days phone,Motorola or Samsung,those phones are only used to call, nothing like WhatsApp, during our great-grandfather days there is nothing like Facebook,there was no phone self,all they do is send letter or if there is any message to be passed to people,they send town crier to pass the message across to people,that is all they do,there was no enough knowledge,all they do is within themselves,even when they want to get married, they talk to their family members, community,if they want the news to go round but then that is the extent of their knowledge.
It has actually done them a lot of good,but this days before anything happen to you,you already posted it on the internet,alot of people tend to post whatever is going on with them,one of my pastor said during his own time there was no phone to post and they didn't die,he said alot of people now post everything that is going on with them,for example if they want to get married or they just bought a car or a house or even when they are pregnant,even bad things too,they post everything and it tend to expose them to unknown dangers, some sites are illicit sites that shouldn't be exposed to children or teenagers but nowadays that is where you will find those teenagers, exploring those illicit sites,been addicted to it,those are some of the negative impact it has on people now.
The positive impact is making us to know alot of things,the knowledge it gives compared to those olden days,we can easily send messages on our phones instead of town crying,there are alot of opportunities that we can access on internet now,if there is no internet how do we write here or on all the blogging platforms,we can easily check for places or things we don't know about before,there are times we even log in to Facebook to look for family members that are Faraway,so this are some of the positive impacts it has on us now.
But we should be mindful of the kids around us or even as an adult,we should let it affect us positively and not negatively and we should guide our children or siblings in the right way to use the internet,so they won't misuse it.
