To Work in another country, is not easy!!
Greetings dear community!
Today I will tell you about my activities as a Therapeutic Assistant, I know that previously I had told you something about this job, but today I will go deeper into the subject.
When I arrived in Buenos Aires, I could not get a job as a teacher, because I did not have the documents legalized, it took 9 months to give me the DNI, National Identity Card, I only had a provisional authorization to work and move around the national territory, called Precaria, with that document I could work.
We walked several kilometers handing out resumes in all the stores in the commercial area, but they never called us. We began to search through facebook and there I got a job as a maid, cleaning an apartment 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday, I was paid 5,000 pesos per month, which was not enough to cover the expenses we had.
My friend Ana Consuelo, whom I met on the trip from Venezuela to Buenos Aires, to whom I am very grateful for everything she did for me, called me one day asking me if I wanted to work as a Therapeutic Assistant, taking care of disabled adults. She told me that they paid weekly and very well. The thing is that I didn't know anything about that kind of activity.
But, I have always been a brave woman, and more if I am in the midst of adversity, God has given me that strength, fortitude, courage, whatever you want to call it. My friend told me what I should do and how to do it, that I should look for something on Youtube about this topic so I could learn, and so I did.
When the coordinator of the company that recruited this type of personnel called me to interview me, I was ready to say what I needed to say to get in... and I got in! Of course, they urgently needed a person to cover that guard, and I went, I will always remember that first patient I took care of, it was a night guard for 3 days, it was a Spanish man, an architect well known in the construction industry.
He had a stroke and was unable to move his left arm and leg. He was very tall, about 6'2" tall and weighed about 130 kg. When I saw him, I paled, I got nervous, imagining how to lift that man so tall and strong .... and not only that, I had to take him to the bathroom, undress him, lay him on the bed, dress him, give him water every 20 minutes during the night, sanitize his private parts, use the parrot (container where urine is poured) when he was in bed, I could not let even a little urine leak into the bed, ... it was a challenge that guard ... it was quite a challenge.
As best I could I got him up, thank God he helped a lot, he was very good, polite, loving.... But the wife was the opposite... her bad temper didn't help much, so I went for 3 days and didn't come back. After a few months I found out that the patient had died.
And so I began to visit several homes in the Capital of Buenos Aires, people with a lot of money, with chronic, incurable diseases, that not even all the money they had, could save them from certain death. Some were good and others not so good patients.
It has been 5 years, and my last patient's name is Maria, she is 65 years old, she is a very intelligent, beautiful, kind-hearted woman, she has a degree in Accounting, they own a sawmill, they also have a lot of money, but, they are a little less snobbish than the previous patients.
She had a seizure when she was 60 years old, they took her to the doctor, and she was diagnosed with a strange disease called Acute Amyloid Disorder, according to the medical report, he said it is a disease similar to stroke, she has all the left side immobile, and the right side is getting stiff too, the doctors say that instead of improving, the stiffness in the muscles will increase as time goes by, and the time will come when her heart will stop working.
When I met Maria, she was able to do some things by herself, brush her teeth, wash her face, comb her hair, eat by herself, now she doesn't have the strength to do any of that. Practically everything has to be done, from bathing her, to feeding her, to giving her to drink, she wears diapers because she suffers from incontinence on both sides. So, it has not been easy for me this kind of work, there are moments when I feel like leaving everything and not going anymore, but then I think of Maria and Jose, they can't fend for themselves, they need help from other people.
Maria says she is going to die at 69, just like her mother, or maybe before. Unfortunately she has no children, she never married. Her parents died, she only has 2 brothers, of which only 1 is the one who carries the heaviest burden, he carries the whole administration of the sawmill, plus the illness of his sister Maria, and, in addition to that, he is diabetic, and also had 3 strokes, just like Maria, only he can walk, he can fend for himself 70%, with many restrictions.
The truth is that when I see cases like these, I think that money is not everything in life, it can help to solve many problems, but others, like these cases that I have seen, unfortunately not.... unfortunately. They are hard working people, I think they abuse their body, they work night and day, for what, to end up like that, sick? Having to depend on other people to do their personal activities? Is that fair?
I don't think it is fair, but when we don't take care of ourselves while we are young, when we are old, the body will take its toll on us for not taking care of it as it should be. For having abused it, subjecting it to many hours of being awake, sometimes without eating well, without drinking enough water, without taking a well-deserved vacation, a well-deserved rest.
That is why, today, I try to live life to the fullest, I don't have 2 jobs, I try to sleep the full 8 hours, drink a lot of water, eat at the right time, have fun, go out with my friends to have a coffee, a beer or wine, eat something tasty. Life is only one, let's enjoy with conscience, let's make happy the people who are next to us, let's show that we love them, tell your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, friends how much you love them, and how important they are for you, today we are here, tomorrow we don't know if we will be... and most important of all, I thank God every day for giving me health, peace and abundance.
Here I finish my reflection about life and my work in Buenos Aires ....
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post.
God bless you !!
See you soon...

Kosy, a lucky cat!
Greetings my dear Read.cash family, I was out for a few days due to family issues, my son and his wife are moving to the capital city of Buenos Aires and I have been helping them a little to organize the move. But I'm here again, with a topic I'm sure you will like very much.
I want to say a big thank you to all the people who have read, commented and voted for my post! God bless you with abundant health, prosperity and lots of love!

Kosy is an adopted cat, her owner found her and her siblings in a garbage bag... they had been left there to die or someone with a generous heart would find them and take them home, they were newborn kittens. Maria heard them meowing, and approached to see where the noise was coming from.
As she went along, she could hear them crying, but she couldn't see them anywhere, until she saw something very small moving inside the black garbage bag. She opened the bag, and found 4 kittens of various colors, starving to death. She took the bag and took them home.
When she arrived she prepared a box with some old blankets that she had for them to sleep warm because it was very cold that day, it was winter. She prepared a bottle of milk for them and fed them for 2 months. She took them to the vet, they got their shots, took their vitamins, and those kittens were growing and getting more and more beautiful every day.
But she knew she couldn't keep the kittens, as they already had 5 dogs and couldn't have any more pets. So, she made a very nice box, put the 4 cats in it and went with her friend to a square to give the cats away.
They put up a sign that said: "Adopting a cat is a blessing", so in less than 1 hour they had taken 3 kittens. Only 1 was missing, she was a female, black with brown spots, she was different from the others, she was the most awake of all, the one who recovered faster, she ran, jumped all over the house, but nobody liked her, they said she was very ugly. they spent hours there, and nobody else came to take Kosy.
For that reason, Maria decided to adopt her. Today, Kosy, Maria's only heir, has grown up and as a token of her loyalty to Maria, she sleeps on her feet to keep her warm while she sleeps. When I take Maria to the bathroom, she is already there, waiting for us, she spends all that time with us in the bathroom, she asks for water, I give her water and then she stays very still watching everything I do to her owner.
Sometimes, she goes to sleep with Jose, her owner's brother. She also has the bad habit of following Jose when he goes to the bathroom, she opens the door and goes in very quietly to see what he is doing there. Until he comes out of the bathroom, she doesn't come out either. If she wants to enter Maria's room, and the door is closed, she jumps and opens the door with her paws, it is something not to believe!

She is very loving, cuddly, and also has her days...when she is stressed, she bites me, or trips me, I am walking in a hurry, and she sticks one of her paws in and hits me...it is incredible all she does to get attention, she also starts to knock over things that are on the night table or things in the bathroom.
It is an eternal struggle to get her out of Maria's bed, sometimes she gets off without me saying anything, other times she stays lying down pretending to be asleep... until I take her to get her up... and it is incredible, she complains, very little meows, but sometimes she usually tells me something in her cat language, I think it is something like: "leave me alone, I want to continue sleeping" ... hahahahaha!
It's very funny to have cats as pets...they are beautiful!! I love them, but I don't have one living with me. I can't at this moment. But I will be moving soon and will have more room for some cute kitties.
Thank you very much for stopping by to read my post!
Blessing for you!!
My head almost exploded!!
Greetings dear community!
Yesterday, I was at home, doing various household chores, when suddenly, I received a message from the real estate company that rents us the apartment where I live since May 2018.
I opened the message and it said the following: Dear tenant, we inform you that the renewal of the contract expires on April 30, here are the amounts that you must pay to continue in the apartment you currently live in:
Rent: 32,800 Argentine pesos
Taxes: 1,480
Deposit: 20.350
Commission: 32.800 (as if it was the first time we entered)
Contract: 4,800 (they charge this for the real estate agency to draw up the contract, without notarizing it)
Total: 92.230,00 ARG pesos (that's equivalent to 435$USD, the dollar has been increasing vertiginously the last days, currently 1 Argentinean peso is equivalent to 212$USD)
When I read the message, I got dizzy, my face got hot, red, the truth is I don't know how to explain what happened to me at that moment, thinking that I had to get that amount of money that I don't have, made me panic, but after crying, not sleeping thinking about how I was going to get that money, I thought: "I don't have it now, but soon I will have it", how? I don't know, "the universe opens the ways for me to get a lot of money, from unknown sources every day", I repeat that prayer several times a day, I know that the money will come, sooner than I imagine.
Currently Argentina is going through one of the worst economic crises, similar to that of the year 2001-2002, according to political analysts and economists, in that opportunity they hit bottom, even the money of savers disappeared from their accounts.
I do not like to say these things, but I am having a Deja vu, and that makes me paralyzed of fear, to think that it may seem like Venezuela in its worst moments, when everything began to increase, and they established price controls on food and the purchase of dollars. And then I say to myself: "don't worry Aida, that will not happen here, because the Argentines will not allow that to happen", and thinking like that, calms me down a little.
Currently the minimum wage in Argentina is 38,940 pesos per month, it is expected that by the end of this year it will be 47,850, I earn a little more than that, but still not enough money. When I arrived in 2017 I earned 500$Usd, today I earn 300$Usd, for that reason my head was about to explode, what I have to pay in rent renewal exceeds what I earn monthly.
I thought of going to live under a bridge... hahahaha! That's why I didn't write anything since Monday, I was like crazy looking for a place to move, I haven't found one yet, it's not easy, they ask a lot of requirements to rent, it's time to get out of here....
I think, I am in the wrong country. I must look for other directions, it is never too late to start again. I am not afraid to leave and start in another country. You always learn new things and for me that is a challenge. I love to learn about everything.
Never in my life, I had never worked as a Geriatric Assistant, here in Argentina is what I have practiced since I arrived, I thank God for giving me the patience and courage to learn this job, it is not easy, you need a lot of patience, love, consideration for the other person who is sick.
I like to give love, and that is precisely what these sick people need, I think they have enough problems with what they suffer day by day, a little affection is not bad for them. But, the truth is that I am exhausted of this work, I want something more peaceful.
Later, I will tell you about other anecdotes of my daily life.
Thank you very much for stopping to read my post!!
Blessings!!
See you soon!!

My introduction to the Read cash community
**Hello family, I wish you have a nice day, full of good energies.**
Let me to introduce myself, I am Malvy Sifontes, Venezuelan, I am 52 years old, single, without love commitments. I currently live in San Miguel, Buenos Aires, 5 years ago I left Venezuela, in order to have a better quality of life for my son and his wife.
In my country I am a teacher in Integral Education, I also worked as Business Administrator, assistant to the accountant, buyer in the Brazilian construction company Odebrecht, in short....
Here, in Argentina, I am nothing like that, just another refugee who fled her country because of the chaotic economic situation we were living, I take care of a grandmother who had 3 strokes and can not walk, her name is Maria.
My arrival to this well-known platform was through my dear friend @gertu13, who I met on another platform where we shared many anecdotes. The truth is that we only knew each other by phone, but we developed such a great empathy, that to this day, we continue to write, of course, sometimes we get lost, but it is because of the various activities that we each have.
Gertu told me about this community last year, she told me that it was very good and that I should try to subscribe, she know, I like to read and write. But, it is only now that I could do it, because I didn't have a computer to write on. I could do it from my cell phone, but it is more comfortable on the computer.
As soon as I bought the laptop, I started looking for information about read cash, I subscribed, and today begins a new stage in my life, writing, reading, sharing good and bad moments of my life.
I wish to be here for a long time, to be able to meet many people around the world.
I want to tell you a little about myself: I like to listen to music, of all styles, I am romantic, I love flowers, but I don't even have one planted in my house, unfortunately they don't last long with me, I think, I'm afraid they will die and I end up drowning them with the amount of water I pour on them... and in the end... the poor things die!!! a few days ago Jose, my boss, gave me a succulent, it is the one that has lasted the longest...!!!
I dream of having a huge garden full of plants, flowers of all colors. Watering them every day, prune them, talk to them, yes, you can say words of affection to them, for example: to the ones I had, in the mornings I watered them and told them how beautiful they were, that they would continue to be so beautiful, with those wonderful colors, but they died anyway!
Another thing I love is to know many places, here in Buenos Aires there are many beautiful places, I love the architecture of the buildings, it is a European style, very nice. Later I will share with you pictures of the places I have been, they are beautiful.
It's a pleasure to me, to be here, with you!!
Thank you so much for reading my post!!
