Who do we work for?

There are often various complaints that come out of the mouths of those of us who have jobs. That the amount of income we receive is not comparable to what we have given for the job. Has carried out the responsibility with a large portion, but paid only so much. At least, that's how we judge it in our complaining state.

On the other hand, some are given the opportunity to earn more than most people. However, what he gave to the job he was in was not worth what he received. Not on time. Work modestly, maybe even with a sense of full of laziness.

Then the question is, what have we been working for and for whom?

Islam teaches that work is a form of worship to God. Work will be worth worship if it is done on the basis of right and good intentions. Just hope for Allah's blessing. Working with the intention of being able to support oneself and not burden anyone, is liked by Allah and His Messenger. Working with a premise, that it is a form of gratitude for the opportunity given by Allah, then that too is something that is loved by Allah and His Messenger.

And if we reflect on the complaints that we often hear, isn't that a work process that is carried out only for the sake of income? For the sake of a handful of worlds that will eventually be abandoned? Or is it just for the sake of gaining views or popularity? So that makes the meaning of work, just as a routine waiting for the turn of time, receiving results in the form of the word income. Keep spinning like that all the time. Without realizing the realization that all of these are hopes for a series of numbers that are mortal, they are not eternal and their truth-value will not be fulfilled.

If we look at a job with the eyes of faith, we will make ourselves put the work into a way to collect blessings. Work is a manifestation of the love of the Lord of the Universe which makes a person no longer a burden to his other siblings.

Interpreting work with an understanding of faith will make you see that a job is a great opportunity provided by the Richest God. The opportunity to engage with more people, establish friendships, and the opportunity to spread the truth about this form of business to more people. Through words, moral actions, also through understanding. Yes, not by working, we have the opportunity to connect with more people. Which in the end makes the opportunity to form a better-civilized civilization is also getting bigger.

Seeing a job from the perspective of faith will make the soul realize that the highest value of a job is the pleasure of the Most Merciful God. A row of numbers on a piece of paper is the only way to reach His other love. A series of numbers that will present a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the heart, if it is spent for social purposes, as exemplified by His Apostle. If the series of numbers is not as expected, let's hope that faith will lead to not complaining. Perhaps, the current conditions were just a test for something bigger in front of him. Work with pleasure. Work, with the belief that the owner of the place where we are currently working is actually God, the Almighty, even though his physical form is only human. Without comparing one with another, keep working solely for the pleasure of God. If whatever you get is not as expected, isn't that also sustenance? We become aware of what steps to prepare and do, to get to something more appropriate.

Today, are we still complaining about the work we are doing or living? If I remember how the Prophet and his companions worked. Take lessons from how they interpret work. Who knows, busy we are today, is God's way of involving us in His plans. A plan to make your other siblings enjoy happiness. Who knows, we tired today, is God's way to involve us in something nobler. Ensuring orphans' rights to arrive on time is one example. Or who knows, at this time we are being placed in a plan, to be an intermediary to convey fortune and blessings to others.

I completely agree that we are building our destiny, but it is all in God's plans. We are part of a series of events that He has for us, therefore, we should not force things. Always what happens and should happen in God's name is best. I loved your article and I hope we continue reading each other here. Greetings from Venezuela.

We should be content with little, but now we want more. You do not want to be frustrated if you cannot get the right pitch so invest in a good capo. You can be happy if you are satisfied with a few things. Allah gives us enough according to our needs. If we live according to the ideals of the prophets, then we can understand love for Allah.

Thanks for your last paragraph, I needed that. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, my body is complaining and I need to be reminded to do everything to glorify him, my hardships today are someone elses happiness. If I die today, maybe I have served my purpose and I'm happy.

Work where you can enjoy. If it becomes toxic, then find another job. Complaining about it and not doing something to make it better is not healthy.

Back when I had work, I really enjoyed every moment of it and I did apply some teachings from our Faith. I did not complain about it and I am so blessed that I had that one chance in life.

I wish everyone have think like that in their life, then there could be a better and developed world. At least those muslims who works like corrupted, if they would have been feared to the Almighty Allah then this world could be the wonderful place together. We should take the lessons from our prophet and maintain the rules and obey those, at last apply them in real life.
