Hello, noisers!
I come with some bad news today. When I was jogging this afternoon, a little piece of something went into my eye. It doesn't come out neither using water nor my own finger. So, my mother talked to an Ophthalmologist we know from Twitter. He's always nice and willing to help people. And he works in a close city.
I sent him all the information and pictures he asked for and... Well, I gotta go to the hospital emergency room first time tomorrow so they can remove the object from my eye. Until then I have to apply ointment and drops every four hours to prevent it from getting infected.
I'm scared, I don't like other people to touch my eyes. And I don't like going to hospitals. But it can get really worse if I don't.

Today was my first training day of 2022. Almost all the machines were occupied, so it was just a soft routine. Luckily, I did the warm-up at home. I think people have started to work on their New Year's resolutions. Nevermind, they will quit by february and I'll have all the space for me again. ๐ I'm joking, I wish all of them to realize their goals. I'll just have to get earlier.
And now it's time to keep coding. I got my favorite snack. It is peanut butter filled chocolate cookies. I've read chocolate keeps us happy and peanut increases memory and concentration. If that's true, this would be like the Definite Biscuit for programmers!

I'm in the process of waking up my ๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐บ๐ต๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ, or how I call her now: ๐๐ฆ๐ข.
During this vacation time I have been ๐๐ณ๐ต๐ช๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ค ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ most of time. But now, a new semester is starting and I need caculus and logic instead of laguages and singing. It's curious, because Python is a language, one I've been learning for weeks, and it makes me use my logic. But that seems not to be enough to make this lazy brain to remember how to calculate a probability, an azimut, nor a meridian; if lucky it will know how to place a tripod. What it does remember is CAD, I believe is because Sand enjoys using design softwares. She doesn't draw plans nor maps, but logotypes. And she has been practicing, so I'll let her out playing a little more. โบ๏ธ
I still have three days to bring Gea back, otherwise my grades will be at risk. ๐
I've had a headache all day. The days have turned too hot and the nights too cold. It's hard to work or to have a rest that way.

I was chatting with some members of #langtwt community on Twitter and this happened to me:
I usually use Google Translator to check my english spelling. Well, I wrote a tweet to a girl and, before sending it, I put it on the translator. But, I accidentally pressed the ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ button. Ok, no problem, I pressed it back again and then copied and pasted on Twitter and sent it without reading it back again. Big mistake, Sand. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Why?
Well, it turns out that, when I use that button, ๐๐ณ. ๐.๐ takes it upon himself to change my text for a ๐จ๐ช๐๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. And what's the matter with that? Most of the times the translator doesn't recognize neither slangs or a too informal vocabulary. It returns more like a ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ก ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. And sometimes that can lead to misunderstandings. This applies for any language.
Luckily for me that this time the suggested translation, in terms of meaning, doesn't differ much from my original text. A bit formal in my opinion, but the message was delivered.
I believe it didn't change much because this was a short text. But, try putting a long text and compare the results with your own knowledge.
Some of you must remember that episode when the admin @noise.cash was trying to explain the new rules, and made one post for each of the main communities here. They pasted the original english post on a translator and translated into spanish, tagalo, urdu, bengali...
The thing is that, as it was a LONG text, the translator returned some wrong and literal sentences; And if we add the Admin's ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ๐ฌ sarcastic tone.... Well... It was chaos. ๐ The admin was branded as a "xenophobic" by some users when the problem was, in part, originated by a bad translation from ๐๐ณ. ๐.๐. ๐
๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐:
1) If you use a translator for important things, always double-check.
2) Always be open minded and patient when you speak to someone whose native language and culture is different from the one you both are using to communicate.
I would write some more detailed tips, but this post would be way too long... And you know what would happen then. ๐

It's a piece from my friend @Rayatico's piercing. He lost it the other day at @Cyxaz's birthday party. I was on the karaoke when he came to me saying "How good is your sight?" and put this really small thing on my hand. I was trying to put it back in his nose where it belongs, but... That little ball was too slippery! It fell and I was like "Uh-Oh-... Frozen, Sand, FROZEN!".๐
We were looking for the ball several minutes with no success. Bryan was sad and Yorbert's mom was telling "Give it up, boy, I'll look for it tomorrow when cleaning. C'mon, you can get another..." ๐
I kept looking 'cause I felt a little ashamed, I mean it was me who dropped it after he found it the first time. And I was so sure it was either on the laundry basket or in the bedroom floor. I even checked my own shirt, 'cause everytime I lose a pendant that's the usual place it ends.
A week later, I was in my house and... I found it. ๐
You know that third small pocket that jeans have and no one knows what's for because it is too small to put something in? Well, that is where the little ball was all that time. It fell when I grabbed the pants to wash them; it made a heavy sound and rolled under my bed.
Or at least, that's the only explanation I could find that it survived the entire night journey on foot from Yorbert's home to mine.
Now it is safe in a plastic box and it cannot go anywhere until it is returned to its owner.

I'm fixing my schedule with all my subjects, courses and activities. It is not finished yet. It's a little hard to figure it out, because some professors tend to change the hours or the days on the first week (or even in the middle of the semester) based on the needs of each student.
It drives me crazy sometimes, but it is also a privilege we have for being the smallest department in the faculty; hopefully each class has between 1 and 5 students enrolled. When I arrived at this department, we were a group of 9 students: 6 girls and 3 boys. Our cohort was the largest in many years, so they had to fix the practice and class methods for us. It was so funny. ๐
Anyway, I have to wait for at least one week before I know what hours I have to schedule my own teaching hours. I'm lucky not having to travel to the campus more than once a week. I miss the highway, but not so much that I want to go crazy by traveling +100 km and coming back right on time to see my own students. So, hooray for online classes! ๐

Happy New Year #2022 Noisers! ๐ฅ
Yesterday afternoon I improvised my own single karaoke until my mom kicked me out of her speakers to put a New Year's conference before dinner.๐ Then I sat on the computer to chat and to spend time with my friends. And after midnight, I didn't want to go to sleep, so I watched "Matrix: Resurrections".
I ended up sleeping at 3:00am and waking up at 7:00am. And I'm not tired... yet. ๐๐๐ Nevermind, not that I have much to do today. The entire town looks desert. I'll probably watch another movie.
I hope you have enjoyed your night and I wish you all the best to you in this new year.

A few months ago this little cat appeared in front of our door. We started feeding it for a while, and everytime one of us opened the door to get out the house, it was trying to get inside.
It was so cute and insistent that even my aunt was considering to adopt it. It was hard to make that desicion because adopting a cat, involves having to sterilize and vaccinate it. We cannot afford that. Also, we didnโt know what would it be Misa-Misaโs reaction to this new member in the house (I know Blacky would be ok with it). So, we had to choose between adopting it or keeping it until someone else adopted it.
The day my aunt made the desition and told us to let it in, I went out to the farmacy, told the little cat to wait at the sidewalk (as always) but when I came back, it was gone. I think someone must have taken it.
Well, I saw the cat last week, it was a block from my house. It grew up, of course, but I recognize the spots on its fur. They are exactly the same, only now it has longer hair. But when I got close and tried to pet him, he ran away from me. I couldnโt even take a photo to show my family he was ok.
It seems to be living on the land that belongs to my grandmother's family. I have some cousins and uncles there. I asked one of them about when did the cat appeared. The date that he gave me it was close to the day it disappeared from my sidewalk. So, confirmed, thatโs the cat.
I know they take care of animals there. There is a near restaurant and the owner always gives them a lot of food. I suppose thatโs why it grew up so strong.

As long as I can remember, I usually spend Christmas day reading at the living room while everyone else in the house is still asleep. I enjoy that silence. This year was different.
I spended the whole Christmas eve sharing with my friends on Facebook and eating lots of cookies and soda after dinner. I went to sleep late, so I woke up too late the next day. And because of that I didn't get to watch the James Webb Space Telescope Launch Live. It doesnโt matter, because I was able to watch it hours later.
I was so excited because I could understand most details about the launch and what it was shown on screen. Not just because my english technical vocabulary has improved, but because of the background in engineering projects and the knowledge about astronomy, spatial coordinates and trajectories I've acquired these last years.
The launch took place in French Guiana, that is about 1000 miles away from here. I couldnโt help imagine being part of the team that was there, wearing the mission's badge shirts and Santa Claus hats; all of them working for this +20 years project to be success.
I was also happy to see a couple of friends and college mates were interested in this event too.
I know I'm still far from that, but things I'm doing now are to get there someday.
So, now you know how ๐ด๐ฑ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ข๐ญ I've been feeling all the weekend. How was yours?

Hello! Yesterday I ended up too tired to post this.
Grapes hanged, but they didn' light. It might be a fuse or the extension... We need to check that out. Last year there was no problem with those lights.
On the other hand, my aunt did finish putting the Nativity scene. It's ready for the cat to get a nap there.๐ I'll take another picture in the night for a better look.
In other news: About 4AM I started to get a slight sore throat. I ate some ginger and I feel a little better now, a bit dizzy though. I don't have fever and I still can smell and taste the food. I hope I don't lose my record of one year and a half without getting covid. I shall not go to exercise today. Instead I will stay home and take rest. Just in case.
I wanted ginger cookies, not this. ๐ฅบ ๐

Good day, noisers! Now it is 12:00 pm. I'm still decorating and cleaning, so I have no time no make lunch. I'm now taking a break to drink some coffee with these MARIA cookies my sister bought. It's funny, I don't know if my memory is failing, but I thought this presentation came with 10 packages of 5 cookies each. But now it says 9 packages of 4 cookies each. Perhaps they are cutting costs.
Or maybe I haven't eaten them for a long time and I forgot.
Well, I will eat a bunch of them and then go to hang the grape lights in the living room.

Hello, Noisers!
I'm reading the comments to the post I made yesterday about my new noisy neighbor and I think I should give a little context about that situation and how these things work here in my country:
They are not actually living there. One of my neighbors is renting them a place so they can have their store. And weeks ago they installed the speakers and started listening to music so loud that inside my house we couldn't hear anything else, not even what we speaked.
So I had to go there and I talked to a woman and textually told her: "Hi, uhmm, you know, I live in the next house and I wanted to tell you that the music is interferring with my online class. I can't hear my professor. And my mother โwho is a professor tooโ cannot communicate with her students either. So, could you please turn it down a little? Believe me, I know it's boring to be here all day, but... ๐
". At that moment she seemed to be ok with that and turned OFF the speakers.
But a few hours later, her husband came back to the store and I supposed she might have told him about what happened. Well, he turned on the speakers and turned the music up much louder than before.
And, not being satisfied with it, the man started bothering me (and sometimes to my mother) every time I go out of the house, especially when I go jogging and I have to pass in front of them; throwing the smoke from his cigar in my direction and singing out loud verses of the song he was hearing.
The situation continued for several days until we decided to speak with the owner. But he wasn't home, so my mother spoke to her wife instead. She told my mom that they were aware of the noise, and that she and her son couldn't be at peace inside her house either. But they had warned to that people several times and they just ignored them. She also told her "that man is violent..."
The third time, my mother called the owner to his cellphone and he told her the same thing and added that if we must go to the police, he would totally agree. ๐
Last week they didn't opened the store and we thought they were gone. They don't have much sells anyway. But this week they came back and, well, this happened ๐https://noise.cash/post/zxw935gfpx92
Today I went to the prosecutor's office with my mother to file a complaint.
So, now you know why I was so upset yesterday. It is not that easy just to put on a pair of hearphones and ignore them.
The most frustrating thing is that the average citizen in my country has that kind of annoying behavior. People here are not used to call the police in those cases, because the offender just have to mock the officers and they will go. Also, most people don't want to engage in a legal paperwork by going to the prosecutors.
Anyway. This post has already gotten quite long and sad. I'll make it up to you by showing you my Christmas decorations, it is almost finished. Late but beautiful. ๐๐๐

๐พ๐๐ฃ'๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐...
There was a lot of noise coming from outside of the house today. The new neighbor really got on my nerves with his loud music to the point I don't even want to hear my own music now.
I'm trying to finish some of these post I wrote down some time ago, but I have some disorder inside my mind; I cannot write even the light text ones, I'm mixing ideas. I'm sitting in front of my laptop, holding my world map ball, trying to think. I used to have a couple of Feng Shui magnets. I don't practice that stuff, but they were helpful in moments when I feel like this; I have to buy some of those again.
Here in my Notion account I have a few interesting post for #LingoNoise and some other normal post (the image is blurry 'cause I don't want to spoil), but the ideas just don't come out to finish them! And I'm sure this isn't about anxiety. No, I'm upset. C'mon, even when I'm sad I can write about it!
I cannot allow some stranger comes and affects my day like this.

There is a Christmas sweet that is made of papaya (here we call it "lechosa"). I want to make some, but now I can't find green papaya at the markets. I don't know what happened to the distributors or the farmers this year. (Maybe I should plant a papaya tree in my backyard like @kennyroy did ๐ https://noise.cash/post/76k70n0h2v0q)
Last time I cooked this sweet, I used an electric pan. As it keeps the temperature constant, the sugar melted without burning out or sticking to the pan. It had a perfect texture (thick like honey) and flavor; and I obtained much more liquid caramel than when I make it in the gas cook. That's why I want to use it as a topping for my cassava beignets (see the picture). I know it will be the perfect combination.
I have to keep looking. I need to find that green papaya before New year's eve. It is an important matter, because I want to resume this project and carry it out this 2022. And I think a Christmas promo is the best way to get started.

I was singing random songs and Youtube started playing Christina Aguilera songs. More specifically, her spanish album "Mi reflejo" (My reflection). I started singing and I felt so light doing it. I even recorded myself to hear me better โI have a private "studio" channel on Telegramโ and I compared it to my old recordings. My voice sounds more like what it used to be when I was 14 years old, but certainly more trained. I want to keep singing, but it's almost midnight, I don't want the neighbors call the police. ๐
I wish I had a private and quiet place to sing. That way I would see all my potential. Lately I only sing when I'm walking home from jogging, 'cause here at home there's too much noise and people telling me not to "scream". Besides, to know that someone's around makes me feel nervous. ๐ฅฒ ๐

OMG, I'm editing this because I just saw I passed the #200 subscribers!
Thank you, noisers! You really have made this place my favorite site on the web. Always nice and attentive. This last year has been much better for me, and that is in part because of you.
In addition to my last renoise:
(I do it this way because I think including this in that comment would be a little disrespectful)
Well, it didn't matter much, because it turns out that my mother @EneidaPerez was the one who taught my father to drive! ๐ And now she is teaching my sister and me, though we currently can't use the car 'cause it is broken down. So, she is teaching us, not just to drive, but to fix the car! Just the way her uncle taught her.
I will tell her to share a post about how she learned to drive and I'll help her to translate it into english. I'm sure you will love that story!
P.D: BTW, some college friends started teaching me a few years ago, so I'm not as rookie.
It has been a relief week. I took my time to think, read, watch movies and series; charging batteries and creativity. But I have been around here some days, reading you and making comments when I felt like.
This I did helped me to stop what I knew was coming: That kind of blocking.
Somehow I learned to notice when that blocking is coming to my mind and I'm capable of stopping it. I even could analyze how it started last time it hit me strongly:
See, the normal way my mind should work when I wake up is finding a reason to get up from bed and to be fresh and positive. Well, two years ago I was doing the opposite: I used to wake up and while I walked to the bathroom I was thinking of reasons not to feel happy, but angry and sad. Reasons living wasn't worth it. And I did that everyday until the only way I felt confortable was being alone, in a room with no light... I could spend the whole day waiting for nightime. I neither wanted to eat nor to talk to anyone. I used to do my work and to study on automatic mode, without thinking or enjoying anything.
That was from the inside, 'cause in the outside I looked normal. Just the same quiet person I've always been.
So, everytime I feel stressed or that I'm under too much pressure, I just cut out what I know could be feeding and triggering that "blocking" and take a rest to think about why is that affecting me. It isn't the best way to handle it, but it is what I can do for now.
(Note: I don't want you to get worry or scared about this part. I haven't felt that way for a long time. I feel great now, for many reasons)
I now feel more strong and healthy, I even was the one in my house who didn't get the flu last week. Yes: My sister, mom, grandma and aunt... All four got sick. They're fine now. But, me? Not even a sneeze! In fact, I remember 2020 when doctors said that stress was a factor for people being more vulnerable.
And now that we're all fine, this weekend we started putting all in order for Holidays. A little late than usual. Normally everything is ready since november. We gotta hurry this week!

I'm watching season 2 of Impulse (Youtube Originals' series). And, in chapter 4 they only speak romanian! I feel like I'm listening to a mix of french, spanish and korean (yeah, korean, I don't know why either ๐). I even understood two complete sentences that sounded like spanish. I have read that romanian and spanish share some similarities. Words like ๐ช๐ธAyuda/Ajuta๐ท๐ด (Help) and ๐ช๐ธYo/Eu๐ท๐ด (I, myself) have almost the same pronouncing both in spanish or romanian.
Maybe I should ask Zhenya to speak ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ถ๐ญ๐ข to me more often.๐ Ok, no, I'm just going to look for some other movies in that language. Who knows, I might end up ๐ข๐ค๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ it. But I'm not going to take it serious yet, I have enough target languages at this moment and believe me, I've tried, it's not a good idea. I'll tell you a story about it sometime.
Anyway, I know I've been lost. I'm a mess, and I had to take a few days for me. I haven't even posted anything about that Christmas dynamics!
I'll be back as soon as I get everything in order. I promise.

Today, while I was on my way home โas there was no one aroundโ I started practicing my speaking skills. And I realized that my accent is just fine! And that the reason I still don't feel confident enough when speaking other languages is the same reason I don't feel confident enough when speaking MY OWN language: "๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ ๐๐'๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐"
When I'm writing I can easily communicate to other people. I sometimes even feel like I write too much. But when I speak, it's hard for me to improvise a subject and to start speaking, so I usually let the other person to take the lead. Also I don't like speaking in vain; I say only what it takes to make my point and answer when I'm being asked to.
Of course, it is different when I'm with my family, friends and people I feel confortable for reasons like sharing same taste for movies and that kind of stuff (speaking to them in spanish). But on a daily basis, I don't use my voice other than for singing. Quarantine can share some credits for that, by the way.
Actually, I think here at Noise I am way much social than I am at other platforms. I bet you cannot notice that. ๐

Today I went jogging again. I've stopped going for a week because my knee was hurting since one morning I had to climb up the roof tank with my sister to fix a leak in the pipe; I went up really fast and twisted my knee.
I felt much better today.
But, before going to exercise, first I had to go to the pharmacy for my mother's medicine. I was already on my jogging clothes so I had to go downtown dressed like that. I know it isn't a big deal, but I'm not used to get into a store wearing such an informal clothes. ๐
However, all that didn't matter because the streets were almost empty. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like people is taking more care since the news about that new variant came out.

It was an active and productive day though I didn't even moved from my computer but to fix a cable that almost got on fire in the kitchen (I can't say the same about the light bulb, 'cause it DID burned out). ๐ท๐บ Hello, Lingo Noisers! I was looking for an old tweet and I found these other tweets from the time when I started learning russian. And I wanted to show what I did to learn cyrillic alphabet:
I pasted all the letters on my keyboard and started tweeting as I usually do, but in russian. I just had to change the keyboard language setup every time I needed it, using a shortcut. I remember it used to take me about THREE minutes to write a simple "ะฏ ั
ะพัั ะบะพัะต ั ะผะพะปะพะบะพะผ" (I want coffee with milk). ๐ But it really worked, now I'm able to write without any sticker on my keyboard, 'cause I know exactly where each symbol is.
It feels really good to see how much I have improved since then.
Have a lovely weekend!

โ ๏ธ Warning: Long Silly (and probably nonsense) Love Story. DON'T READ IT. Keep on scrolling to another post. I just need to drain this somewhere โ ๏ธ (๐)
What is the craziest, silly thing you've ever done for someone you had a crush on?
This morning I had the best of surprises when I was at the store. I met a friend from college, it has been almost four years since I last saw him in person (I remember it was November 21st 2017, Student's Day). I mean, I've always kept contact with him through social media, but seeing him in person it felt so special. That "Billy" style of putting his cap, that hesitant way of walking... I knew it was him despite the mask. We had a little chat, catching up. You know, usual stuff.
Since that moment I've been having flashbacks. From the very first time we met to the moment he moved to another city; the moment when the professor made a question and that attractive voice answered from behind me and made me turn around to see the handsome pale face of a guy sitting cross legged on his desk, leaning a pencil on his temple...
Then, the day we went to formalize our enrollment at the main campus, since I was the only one who barely knew where to go, he asked me to drive him to the office in the most random and funny way: He took my hand and started running; we both, almost in our 20's, running around the university and laughing for no apparently reason as if we were 10 yo... That was on first semester.
The next scene I remember is walking with him and some other friends to the Mall, to buy my "Death Note" collar in a new geek store. It was the final day of our second semester and I wanted to celebrate for having approved a hard subject (well, hard for me at least).
But I think the most special time that I spend with him was during our fourth semester, right before he moved out to continue the other half of the career. He told me he was trying to write a manga and asked me to help him with the story and the characters. I thought it would be fun, so I said yes. Next thing I know is that we were meeting EVERY SINGLE DAY between classes; to study and to work on that project. And that was totally ok for me. And I especially must to say he taught me almost everything about geometry I know today.
But the day came: He finished all subjects and had to go then, along with most of my other friends and classmates. I couldn't go yet 'cause I had three subjects to finish here.
We kept in touch through Twitter, we used to chat every day after college and he came to visit from time to time. Until gradually, we stopped talking so frequently. Who knows, maybe we had too much homework... I don't even remember how it happened.
We met again the following year. But of course, it wasn't the same anymore. We are still good friends, we joke, share memes... Actually, despite whatever I could have felt at that time, the truth is that nothing really romantic ever happened between us. ฬถ(ฬถYฬถeฬถaฬถhฬถ,ฬถ bฬถoฬถyฬถsฬถ.ฬถ Gฬถiฬถrฬถlฬถsฬถ cฬถaฬถnฬถ aฬถlฬถsฬถoฬถ eฬถnฬถdฬถ uฬถpฬถ iฬถnฬถ tฬถhฬถeฬถ "Fฬถrฬถiฬถeฬถnฬถdฬถzฬถoฬถnฬถeฬถ")ฬถ I mean, we still have that affection for each other, and that is just sweet and good for me now.
I'm only writing this to put my mind together. It's amazing all things you can realize when you write and then read what your mind (and sometimes your heart) is saying to you.
Hellow noisers!๐พ
Yesterday I made some new friends. I was jogging when I saw a doggy running in the middle of the avenue, he seemed lost and didn't know how to cross the street, also his leg was hurt, he was limping, so I went there to help. But he didn't allow me to get closer and started running fast from me.
I noticed other people were trying to catch him by offering some food without success. Then a lasy stopped her car and asked me if the dog was mine, and I said "No, I'm just trying to see his dogtag, so I can call his owner". She joined us and we tried to catch the dog for like an hour until he entered in a private street where there were other five dogs. We went there and knocked the door he was barking to. Although no one answered, we knew that this was his home. We spoke to the boy next door and he told us the dog's name was Jojo (or Yoyo) and that he was "allowed" to go outside alone and that his leg isn't hurt but it has an old injury. I don't really think that is right, but I could't do anything since the owner wasn't there to have a chat.
Well, that's how my jogging ended up being a chase. ๐ I met Maria and Paola who are animal protectionists. I joined their group to help dogs and cats, or at least as many as we can in this little town.๐พ
That was my tuesday's closing. Let's see what else happens today.
(BTW, I owe you the photos, took some pictures with the lady's phone, but she must have forgotten to send them to me)

I spended the whole semester programming coordinates transformations on Excel, so I no longer want to see a single calculus sheet for the rest of vacation. Now I have to make a budget and inventory... But I'm procrastinating it. The only cells I want to see are from a Scrabble board. ๐
Hello, Noise's tasters and travelers. Today, after a long morning doing home tasks, this tasty gift arrived right on time for lunch.
In my country we call it "cachapa" and it's some kind of corn pancake that you can eat with cheese, beef, pork... Whatever you want. You can make it with grounded corn or corn flour (I'm pretty sure this one was made with corn flour). Few months ago I learned how to make it:
Just mixing corn flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. I won't tell the proportions 'cause it depends on the brand you're using; just try to get a pancake mix like texture, use as much sugar as you like (in a healthy margin, please) and then you can fry them.
Now, is there a recipe like this in your country? How is it called? I read you.
