Today, while I was on my way home —as there was no one around— I started practicing my speaking skills. And I realized that my accent is just fine! And that the reason I still don't feel confident enough when speaking other languages is the same reason I don't feel confident enough when speaking MY OWN language: "𝘚𝘈𝘕𝘋𝘙𝘈, 𝘠𝘖𝘜'𝘙𝘌 𝘈𝘕 𝘐𝘕𝘛𝘙𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘛 😂" When I'm writing I can easily communicate to other people. I sometimes even feel like I write too much. But when I speak, it's hard for me to improvise a subject and to start speaking, so I usually let the other person to take the lead. Also I don't like speaking in vain; I say only what it takes to make my point and answer when I'm being asked to. Of course, it is different when I'm with my family, friends and people I feel confortable for reasons like sharing same taste for movies and that kind of stuff (speaking to them in spanish). But on a daily basis, I don't use my voice other than for singing. Quarantine can share some credits for that, by the way. Actually, I think here at Noise I am way much social than I am at other platforms. I bet you cannot notice that. 😂 #English #LingoNoise #LanguageLearning

I'm afraid to talk so as not to say something wrong but when I have to talk I am talking slowly . I use the Duolingo application for Android phones.
