Kind most of the time, I think. If you like coffee, then you can be my friend. If you like walks, long walks, then you are my soulmate.

I can't create any other task yet in my cashrain community but here's a cashbox. https://cashrain.com/leeart I hope you are quick enough before it runs out. It's just a small amount and the first 20 people will be the lucky ones. Maybe as I am making this post some are already claiming theirs. Looking forward to be able to share more. I can't edit the community anymore and add my Twitter link. I should have done it the first time. So for now, I only have my youtube channel connected there. I hope the link works.

@ARTicLEE

I know most of you are in #cashrain already. I am creating my own community there to hopefully help grow my youtube and facebook page accounts. That way, I can sustain my community there and share whatever I can to you all. With that said, here's my fb page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088034869694 here's my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSrTy7x0rctpRtEgTF59mfg I keep promoting these to hopefully make these platforms earn so I can give back to you. Let's support each other and grow together. Subscribe and follow my page and channel if you haven't yet. I'll be posting a link to my community here once it is approved. Thank you all! #bitcoincash #cashrain #bch

A sudden visit to the capitol. Our friend invited us to go to the beach earlier today. It was a sudden invitation which we answered to right away. I was planning to go out on a hike actually but something kept holding me back. When I was preparing to go out, that's when I saw the message so my preparation was really quick - packing the things we need. I didn't take much photo or video. I just wanted to enjoy the beach. On our way home, that's when we decided to go to the capitol of San Fernando to see the Christmas Village again. There is a difference from three years ago. I'll probably write about it in read more later but for now, time to go to cashrain before going to sleep for my eyes are begging me to sleep. Still, need some BCH :D

@ARTicLEE

It's raining BCH! To all cashbox raiders out there, how many have you opened so far this day? :D If you are not in cashrain yet, join here https://cashrain.com/invite/tco45kjq2 https://cashrain.com/invite/amab1ppqgd6 https://cashrain.com/invite/p71rklb81id Also, I'm sure most of you have received an email regarding noise.cash migrating to noise.app. As I said in some comments, I will not import anymore. Let's start anew here in noise.app. Now back to cashbox raid :D :D

Weekend Troll, etc I'm not talking about the internet trolls but rather the new Norwegian movie with that title. It's available in Netflix. Source: Heaven of Horror https://www.heavenofhorror.com/reviews/troll-2022-netflix/ This is Norwegian's Godzilla or King Kong (which was mentioned in the movie). Truths will be tested. What is fairy tale? Is it true? Fiction? Fact? A bit of both? This is the kind of movie that will question your resolve. You think what you believed is true until one day it will be proven false or vice versa. What you thought was unreal was actually in existence. What this movie left me with was the feeling of hopelessness for humans. We destroy nature just for our own. We are selfish creatures and we are our own destruction. We destroy what we cannot understand instead of working with it for the everybody's sake. We treat others as a threat when in fact we are the ones who invaded in the first place. Just look at our history. What did these unnecessary wars do? Until now we haven't learned a thing. No one is victorious in war for there is so much loss on both sides. Unfortunately, more casualties on the said "victor." This movie only reinforced that we as humans will be the bane of our existence. ****Cash Rain**** Anyway, on a brighter note, who's into cashrain? For those who are not there yet, here's my link: https://cashrain.com/invite/tco45kjq2 https://cashrain.com/invite/amab1ppqgd6 https://cashrain.com/invite/p71rklb81id Click one of those and join. Start exploring the communities and join the rewards. As of this writing, I have received $0.39. That was quicker than I expected. I have just read about this earlier this afternoon for it was only now that I was able to check my noise and read. I don't know much yet about cashrain but it seems it's like an airdrop of sorts. They are giving away BCH there. I signed up using my bitcoin.com wallet. Good thing I came across a post about it and hopefully be able to catch some of those generous cash rains they are distributing there. Be sure to have a Twitter account as well. If you don't have, then better sign up. Most are asking you to follow their Twitter account and re-tweet a post for you to be eligible to enter in the distribution of BCH rewards. ****Desperado**** I feel like singing Desperado right now and so I played the song. Applying for a job is not as easy as it seems. I'm trying to sound positive and be positive in my posts about it. However, it does get to me. I might even apply as chat operator for a sexting company lol! They pay is really good but morals come into play. It's not for the faint of heart. I have been getting either rejections or no reply from those that I sent my application. Still, the hunt continues. That's the way it is. If you get rejected, next! So that's what I do. My online hustles are not given attention that much because of job hunting. Anyway, I hope your weekend is treating you well.

@ARTicLEE

Reward from ShareIt received. For those who haven't tried, here's the link if you want to try the app too. https://5s1t.com/1166v?titlebar=hide It's legit. I just received my PHP100 load today. I log in every day, watch a minute of video, farm/collect coins, clean cache of my phone. How long did it take for me to accumulate enough coins to redeem? Two months. Should I recommend it? Yes. What is a few minutes a day to spend on this app, right? However, if this is not the kind of thing for you, then don't.

@ARTicLEE

Here's a new video that I uploaded. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8BuE7gCXiA It's one of the places I frequently mention in my posts when I have the chance. The photo I used here though was from the cafe that we went to last night after we visited the park. I like their tree and how they decorated the place. However, their waffles was not that great. Thankfully, their coffee was delicious! It was past midnight when we went home and I'm still sleepy lol! Have a wonderful day!

@ARTicLEE

Hump Day thoughts I was checking @LucyStephanie's latest post when I noticed my accumulated rewards. Not a good sign. I am one of those who believe that number is bad luck or associated with something evil. Is this a sign that one of my potential clients is the devil? We are all slaves to something or someone. Mostly work, money, achievements, goals, dreams, someone, something. Speaking of work, I still haven't landed one. That's why I'm all over the place trying out my luck on things while still in the process of applying. If you have not yet visited my fb page **www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088034869694** , please do so now and let's grow together. Like and follow and comment here or there so I can get back to you as well. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088034869694 I want to grow my page too. However, I can only spend some time with the platforms that I have joined. I wanted to revisit some but I think it's not possible. I have to balance my time with fb, youtube, read, noise and Hive. We all know that these will not provide for us immediate money that we need and bills are waving. Our rent is due so I have to come up with something quick lol! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSrTy7x0rctpRtEgTF59mfg As much as I want to stay here and spend more time, I just cannot because of priorities. I know most of you can relate when it comes to priorities. I just sent out another application today. Hoping to hear from them soon. I did have an interview with one didn't pass. I came unprepared so the fault was mine. Lesson learned. I still can apply after 60 days though so if I'm not employed by then, that's still an option. When they say that there are more rejections than yes, I guarantee you that is true. It's not easy especially with someone who doesn't have the skill set. I joined a training last weekend and boy, what a disappointment! It's a paid training but I will not give up on that path just yet. I just have to find the proper channel and I think I have found some sites that could hopefully help. Changing careers needs appropriate skills/training especially if you don't have experience. We have to dive in and learn how to swim. One must have a strong resolve and do attitude. We have to trust ourselves. However, it's not always easy. We have that urge to give up. Whenever I read motivation posts like this from TeacherLynn about achieving goals, I am given new passion and desire yet again. https://read.cash/@TeacherLynlyn/the-secret-to-achieving-your-goals-7b159b76 It's bad timing to be unemployed now that the holidays are upon us. Let's just do what we can. Don't let the uncertainty get to you. One day at a time. Work on things that will lead you to your main goals. So right now, I'm applying to jobs that are related to skills that I currently have but working on other skills as well to hopefully help me transition to new career paths soon. It's never too late to start. If you want to learn something, no better time than now. You will never know when those skills will help you in the long run. In this life where it is filled with uncertainty, we have to prepare ourselves. Happy Wednesday! Sharing the photo as a lead image which I took from my recent early morning walk.

Accept and Adapt It must have been two or three weeks ago when a clip of a TV program shown in UK got into my fb feed. First was the A&E (Accident & Emergency) Department and then the Ambulance service of NHS, also in UK. Between those two, there were other such clips related to that that I always come across my feed. While I do admire the job of these medical personnel and how they deal with their patients with so much empathy, understanding and kindness, it shows how temporary life really is. One minute you are being treated and in the next you are being mourned by your loved ones. The lucky ones are those who are still given second chances to live. There is a guy in one of these episodes where he was rushed to the hospital because his condition was becoming worse which was brought about by his illness. I cannot remember the details but I think it has to do with the brain. This guy was a successful one in his profession and in his personal life as well. Even when he was diagnosed with his illness and gradually worsened as an effect of that, he still continued to fight. He and his wife had that motto: ****Accept and adapt.**** I believe this kind of attitude and mindset should be adopted by everyone. Just because things don't go our way, we can't get what we want, then we should give up. We should teach our kids early on how to better control their emotions and feelings. While it is not bad to have achievers, it's not always about being number one. I think it's a toxic attitude to pressure your kids to best everyone else. Encourage and motivate them to do their best but not too much pressure that they break down. Find balance in everything. Say you have been working in a certain field for a very long time, years and years, almost all your adult life. When the time comes that you can no longer do that, what then? The sooner we learn to accept our fate, then we can learn to adapt to it and find something else to do. It's the same situation when we lose our loved ones. Of course we should give time to grieve for our losses, acceptance is the first step of moving on. It's not easy when part of us died. The reality is there's no such thing as forever. Accept and adapt. Accept and adapt. Make it your motto. Make it your mantra. When I watched that episode, it made a lot of sense. Imagine yourself being a successful person whether in business or in your job. Suddenly you find yourself unable to do the things you usually can easily do, even simple daily activities. Understandably you will feel sorry and depressed. I would be too. However, we have to pick up ourselves sooner and later and accept then adapt. No one can help us more than ourselves. Sharing this photo from my morning walk today. I hope you are having a wonderful start of your week.

@ARTicLEE

Back to one of my favorite spots in the city. It's because of this view that I never grew tired of this. After a long time, I was able to take this route for my morning walk earlier today. I was expecting more but whatever it gives, I take it. It's still a pleasure to see this kind of view. Just to see this layer of mountains with different tones and hues relaxes me. I want to wake up to this. I'm glad I had the stamina to go here. Lately, I have been doing my walks at the park. As some of you know, my goal is 10k steps a day. Because I have not been walking as often as I did, I find myself tiring easily than before such that I end up at the park. It's a good Monday morning. Let's start the week right.

@ARTicLEE

3rd spot! This was a 10-question quiz we had at the end of a two-day online training. That's me on the third spot. I honestly don't know if I have learned enough from this to make me eligible to start this Amazon VA path. It's really diving into it that will help us learn more. Anyway, I haven't been visiting platforms that much because of this. How's your day going so far? It's another cold Sunday night here in this part of the world.

@ARTicLEE

This is Chai Fonacier and this screenshot was from the movie Nocebo. That scene was when she was asked where she was from and that's her response. She was further asked where in Cebu particularly and she said Kilum-kilom. I am not from Cebu but there is a place called Kilum-Kilom Drive in Bohol. To my Cebuano/Cebuana noisers here. Is there a place called Kilum-Kilom in Cebu? I Googled for the translation and I came up with the dusk/twilight as translation of kilum-kilom. I think that's one of the several clues she mentioned in the movie about her fate later on. Nocebo is an interesting movie. It's about traditions and cultures but also highlights the plight of factory workers in third-world countries.

@ARTicLEE

Nocebo >*A* ***nocebo effect*** *is said to occur when negative expectations of the patient regarding a treatment cause the treatment to have a more negative effect than it otherwise would have.* -Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocebo This is a screenshot of Chai Fonacier from the movie **Nocebo** starring alongside Eva Green (Casino Royale) and Mark Strong (The Kingsman). I don't want to spoil you but suffice it to say that Diana (Chai Fonacier) came to work as a nanny for the family of Christine (Eva Green) and Felix (Mark Strong) and their daughter. There were traditions and rituals that were introduced in the movie especially for Christine to free her from whatever ails her. The rituals that Diana did in the movie I have never encountered so I'm not sure if they were true or not or it's just for the sake of the movie. It's a thriller but the real message there is the cheap labor happening in especially in third-world countries just like the Philippines. The movie highlights how some industries like textile/clothing/fashion industry use this kind of means for their own benefit. This raises awareness about the huge gap between the rich and the poor. In desperation, because of our desire to provide for our family, we work for blood, sweat and tears for just a miniscule slice of the pie. I read the post of Kacy01 about a certain tradition. You can read that here. When I read that, I was reminded about that movie, Nocebo. https://read.cash/@Kacy01/tradition-about-first-child-b3e528dc As per the definition given by Wikipedia above, nocebo is the opposite of placebo. The mind is a powerful tool as we all know. What we tell ourselves, the thoughts in our head, they do manifest. If we think negatively, then that is the result we will get. If we do the opposite, then we get positive outcome. If we think we will fail, then that is where we will be heading. So choose your words and thoughts wisely. Even though we say that we live in a modern world, there are beliefs, traditions, rituals that we dismiss as untrue. However, there is still that question in us that what if they do. They are effective. They are real even if we can't explain them. New and scientific breakthroughs are discovered, yet, they still don't work. When all else fails, we go back to our traditions and they surprisingly work. Nature and humans are connected in so many ways but because humans want to severe that bond, we are suffering more and more. Go natural and don't just rely on synthetic drugs. In the movie, Nocebo, they used this music for the end credits https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4jGlIWPC9o It's a Filipino song that tells about the plight of cheap laborers where their job served as their prison and eventually their tomb. Are you doing what you love or you are doing it for the sake of survival?

@ARTicLEE

Check out my new video about our walk this week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYS9xVbCcTg Don't forget to subscribe. I was in the mood for something spicy and hot so I made some kimchi soup after frying spam. I woke up to a cold and gloomy morning. For the soup, I bought kimchi from a nearby store, added some onions and garlic, some spicy powder and black pepper. Now I'm done eating but there are lots of leftover. That will be our lunch later on. Sometimes we cook one viand that will last us the whole day and even the next day lol!

@ARTicLEE

Claimed my passport. Now, where to? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYS9xVbCcTg First off, I want to share this video that I made from our walk yesterday. You can read more here. I literally just done posting in Hive then I logged in here. Thank you for checking it out and I hope you subscribe to my channel. If you have YT channel, comment below so I can follow you too or you can comment in my video. https://ecency.com/hive-155530/@leeart/walking-along-benin-irisan-road Today, I was able to claim my new passport which I applied for a renewal two weeks ago. Days just went by so fast! I was supposed to claim that yesterday for it was my scheduled appointment to claim that. I know that it was November 22 yesterday but the date totally flew out of my mind that's why I wasn't able to claim my passport. Good thing about it though is that we can claim the passport within one year of application else it will be forfeited. The scheduled time of release is from 1-3 p.m. The cutoff is 2:30 p.m. They don't allow anyone to fall in line anymore beyond that time. When I applied for a renewal, I saw that there was a long line outside the agency waiting to claim their passport even before the allotted time. That's why I decided to go there early as well so I can get in line earlier. Today is my brother's schedule to claim and my mom was the other day. Me and my brother then decided to go together and claim our passports. My mom authorized him to claim her passport. However, I had to go ahead and claim mine because he couldn't make it on time to meet me at the agency. He didn't foresee it will take him more time to finish his other appointment. By the time I got home, he was at the agency in time to claim their passports. When I got there, the line was already long. There were about 20 people ahead of me and the line grew longer as the minutes went by. I brought a book to read. I think I was done with two chapters when the line started to move. This is the dog of one of the claimants. I would like to join this fluffy thing on the concrete floor. The lobby was hot and humid. A lot of the clients there were fanning themselves with paper or anything they have to find respite from the heat. It was a relief when you are inside the office because there is a fan. I wonder why they didn't turn on the a/c. Once the claiming process started, the line moved quickly and I was able to get out of there without incident. Passed by the city's tree being built as walked down the road from the mall where the agency was located. I saw the proposed plan for this year's Christmas Tree and I'm looking forward to its full construction. There goes my day for today. Happy Wednesday!

@ARTicLEE

Me in the mirror. Posted this in Hive as entry to the reflections contest. You can check it here https://ecency.com/hive-179017/@leeart/two-is-better-in-one-photo-for-reflections-round-92. If you have reflection photos or you want to get creative with reflections, then join the contest as well. It's fun looking at reflections because of how interesting they are. It's another hump day! I was supposed to go to an agency yesterday for it was my schedule but I forgot. Good thing I can still go later on. Have a good one!

@ARTicLEE

Ask and you don't really get answers sometimes *Today, I have chosen so odd topic and wanted to interview a few read.cash users with the hope they will give us some time to respond to our questions.* *Today our interviewees are* *@PVMihalache**,* *@ARTicLEE* *@Pantera*  *@bmjc98*  *@Amjad_Ali_Waince* *@TheGuy*  *@Ruffa*  *@Olasquare*  *@Infinity &* *@NanV.* https://read.cash/@PVMihalache https://read.cash/@ARTicLEE https://read.cash/@Pantera https://read.cash/@bmjc98 https://read.cash/@Amjad_Ali_Waince https://read.cash/@TheGuy https://read.cash/@Ruffa https://read.cash/@Olasquare https://read.cash/@NanV. *Thanks a bundle for their precious time, and for staying with us, despite their busy schedule.* *Without wasting further time, let's focus on the interview.* Hello Readers and hello world! Thank you so much for inviting me to this interview. I am honored to be chosen as one of your interviewees @LeonaReed. I am pleased and humbled that you noticed me amidst the bigger names out there in the Read world who have come before me. So I am willingly gracing your show. *Our first question is,* ***Would you like to share your real name with the read.caah family?*** I apologize, Readers, but I plan to stay anonymous. In this digital era where information is crucial not to share, I am witholding my name. ***What about your place****, including country or only country, please? Of course* ***place of birth and current place****, if you don't mind?* I do mind, yes, but to be as specific, I am from Baguio City, Philippines. *The readers would also expect* ***your age****, or in other cases, some would love to know* ***your birthday*** *as well. Would you prepare to tell them?* Again, personal information, people. Don't give that away easily. Some users are confused about **your sex/gender**, will you prepare to disclose it? To the benefit of those who will be reading this, I'm a man. ***What do you do for living?*** I breathe, I eat, I sleep. Sometimes I blog here in read, in noise and in Hive. I go for a walk, morning walks preferably, at the park, by the roadside, nearby trails. Anything but dying, I hope. *It's been so fun so far. Well. I am sure it won't bitter to tell you audience:* ***When did you step into the crypto world?*** I think it was 2015 or earlier. I have done some faucets then but didn't profit from those really. If I remember correctly, it was with bitlanders that I started earning. @Bloghound and @Momentswithmatti were my fellow bitlanders back then. Ah, those were happy days. ***Why and when did you exactly join read.cash?*** *It is a very simple question, which I'm sure won't take your time to think more or don't respond.* It's always money - additional income - which drove me to join platforms like this. It was in the later part of July last year I think that I joined read but I didn't dive right in to it because I was busy with noise. Finding time for another platform is hard that's why I can't manage but when the need for more money, that's when I really challenged myself to go for it. *Being one of the senior members of the read family,* ***What advice will you give to the audience (readers), especially those, who are new to the crypto world and/or to read.cash?*** Manage your expectations. If you are looking for a way to earn quickly, this is not the place for you. If you want to earn without having to work for it, this is not the place for you. If this is the first time for you to blog, write or dive into crypto but you don't want to learn, you are wasting your time here. Many of us here were not experts. English is not our first language and we don't know what crypto is all about. Yet, we challenged ourselves to learn about this site, about crypto and pushed on. We are still not experts but we have added learning and we learn from each other here. *Our audience have lots of more questions to ask and wants to know more about you. They have been enjoying it. But I know you are a busy person and have lots of other tasks to do. Moreover, we should keep our interview time in mind as well. With these in mind, I will ask my last question.* *Last but not least,* ***What was the question I should have asked you, which I didn't ask and you would like to ask yourself and answer as well?*** When will @LeonaReed invite you to her place and tour you to her country all expenses paid? :D :D Thank you again for your time, Readers. Good night! @ARTicLEE

This popped up in my fb memory. It was uploaded same day last year. I'm not sure if it was really taken that day. I do remember seeing this. I think I have posted this in the older noise. To this day, I haven't found out if there were accidents or deaths in that area. Usually, placing candles in places like that signifies somebody died. Also, there's not one but a lot of candles. That was the first time I saw candles there because most of the time when I pass here, I see garbage there. Anyway, made a post last night in read https://read.cash/@ARTicLEE/to-hive-or-not-to-hive-ad9b3762 Have a good one!

@ARTicLEE

To hive or not to hive I posted a video there about our walk to the Japanese Trail again. You can check it here. I was so disappointed with that because I thought I was recording. It's only now that I saw my mistake when editing the clips. https://ecency.com/hive-168869/@leeart/lubjywnu I might re-upload that in my YouTube channel. I have to make changes like adding photos that I took to make the video longer. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSrTy7x0rctpRtEgTF59mfg Speaking of photos, I want to share these: Told you I'm the king of rainbows lol! The colors were already fading fast when I happen to look out the window. I quickly took my phone and took the first photo. My eyes did not adjust quickly because I didn't see the second rainbow. More often than not, there are always two rainbows in the sky. On the second photo, there is another line at the bottom right and that's the second rainbow. I have entitled this To Hive or Not to Hive because that is always what I feel. If not for the daily challenge that I have to meet in order to finish the challenge for this month, I wouldn't have been there. So to my Hive friends, apologies. I don't spend much time there. To be in noise and then here, it's tough to manage. You all know the feeling. Then there are offline responsibilities too. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying even though we wanted to be in every platform, we just can't and that's okay. We have priorities and other jobs that we have to attend to. Here in our city, licensure exams have been happening every week. As far as I know, nursing, bar and civil engineering exams were done. I think agriculture will be this week. What else is happening in our city? There are creative stuff that I have missed in celebration of the Ibag-iw Festival. I have not been checking the schedule lately. Also, the neighboring town is celebrating their Adivay Festival too. Lots of festivities going on but I haven't checked them. I really missed a lot. This month is about to end that the festivals will end then too. It's a cold Monday night now here so it's time to bade you all good night for now. The lead image was taken from my post about Ili-Likha which I posted in Hive. https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@leeart/from-a-village-to-wateringhole

@ARTicLEE

To those who haven't watched this video yet, please take time to do so at least 1-2 minutes just to register that it was viewed. This is for a friend's daughter's school requirement. We need 500 views for this. Thank you for checking it out. Thank you also for those who saw the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zBBwliMvm4 The photo I posted here was on display at the Mandeko Kito Artisan's Fair held in one of the schools here in the city. Good thing we decided to check it out for today was their last day. One of the participants of the said fair are the silvercrafts of the city. One of them is Pilak who made this year's Miss Baguio crown. It was a short visit and we didn't buy anything. One shop where we usually busy some stuff was there too. Also, a friend was there too as one of the participants and we had a chat. How's your Sunday so far?

@ARTicLEE

Weekend, past, animal etc. I can't find a topic to write yesterday. However, I have read the post of micontingsabit which was the last article I read last night. I thought I could write about that but I was sleepy after writing my post in hive. You can check this post where this photo was copied from. Also, the lead image was from that post. https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704 https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@leeart/from-a-village-to-wateringhole It rained here last night for a short time that's why it got colder and of course the comfortable and warm bed was irresistible. On with the questions. What if there is no weekend? https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#what-if-there-is-no-weekend Is there really a weekend? We only categorize time so that there is sort of order that we follow. However, weekend does not apply to everyone. As what I have commented on Micontingsabit's post, days off are more important. Any rest from work, school or anything is considered a weekend for me. The question therefore should be, what if there are no days off? I remember I saw an ad online where you get to work 6 days a week but the compensation is not enough. This reminds me of the those illegal factories where human labor is exploited even children are put into forced labor. Anyway, that's another discussion. **If you could change something in your past, what would it be?** https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#if-you-could-change-something-in-your-past-what-would-it-be I'm not sure why this question comes up almost every time in prompts like this. It could be some sort of regret or we can't move on. Having said that, I shouldn't have sold by BTC back when it was just starting and sold it when it was at its peak. We really don't know what the future holds. Regardless of what we have done, we should learn from our past experiences instead. W**hat if you can stop time,what would you do?** https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#what-if-you-can-stop-timewhat-would-you-do If time is the only thing that stopped, then I would travel everywhere and bring my family and loved ones with me. However, if time stopped and everything else stopped, then there is no point for me to wish for it to stop. What if I become an animal, what would I be? https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#what-if-i-become-an-animal-what-would-i-be I like to be a dolphin, my animal spirit, I think. Smart creatures those one. However, I wonder how would it be like to be a Clown Frogfish or Warty Frogfish. These can be found along the reefs of Indo-West Pacific. **What if there's one thing that you can do for mother earth, what would it be?** https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#what-if-there039s-one-thing-that-you-can-do-for-mother-earthwould-would-it-be We all know that our resources have depleted and continues to be. According to some claims, the resources that we are supposed for next year have already been consumed early this year. It means our consumption have doubled exponentially. Also, there is no way we can restore them anymore. Having said that, planting trees, replacing the greenery in areas where structures have been constructed and encouraging less consumption would hopefully slow down the effect of human destruction to nature. **What if I can make a poem?** https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/what-89f3e704#what-if-i-can-make-a-poem If only I can be as poetic as @Olasquare, then I can easily answer this. If I can make a poem, I want it to be colorful and interesting and exciting of course. Although I also would want to convey emotions through it. So that goes my post for today. I was able to wake up early today and be online. Now, I am enjoying my coffee while writing this. Done with breakfast now too. The sky is gloomy and I wonder how it will turn out later. I have asked in my noise post to view this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zBBwliMvm4 Right now it has 175 views and we need more to reach 500. This is for my friend's daughter school requirement. I hope you can spend at least 1-2 minutes viewing this video so we can reach the 500 views sooner. Thank you! Have a good one and keep safe! Choose kindness!

@ARTicLEE

I am posting this video link for a friend. Her daughter needs 500 views for this one as a school requirement. Please take time to view the video 1-2 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zBBwliMvm4 I could say a lot of things, mostly complaint, about why schools should base their grades on views and not the video itself. Anyway, right now the video has 166 views. It's still a long way to 500. Enjoy touring Baguio City through this video. Thanks so much!

I wonder if we can be friends @maria_23 got these set of questions from @Coolmidwestguy post about friends here. https://read.cash/@maria_23/what-kind-of-a-friend-i-am-2b760f3f https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd Let's get on with it. What is a friend to you? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#what-is-a-friend-to-you There are certain levels of friendship. There's a degree how deep our relationship is with others. A friend to me doesn't have to be rich or famous or handsome or pretty. I don't care what your status is in life. What matters to me is your character and personality. It's not about how often we hang out or talk to each other. A friend is someone who helps out in anyway he/she can, kind, humble, treat others with respect. Do you have a best friend? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#do-you-have-a-best-friend Yup, my partner is my best friend. I do have several friends to but the ones who are dear to me are only a few. Do you think having many similarities is necessary to become friends? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#do-you-think-having-many-similarities-is-necessary-to-become-friends Not necessary but it can be fun and does make the bond stronger like doing the things you love such as traveling, food, sports, hobbies etc. It's great to share moments together. Building a relationship is finding common ground. Having said that, having differences will also help you understand each other better. You get to learn from your friends too. For example, in your line of work. Although some of our friends work in the online industry, we don't do the same job and that's interesting for we share our experiences and we get to discover things. Have you ended a friendship with someone? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#have-you-ended-a-friendship-with-someone More like falling out or being cautious. I am a nice guy. I don't make enemies because I don't like confrontations. So far I haven't been friends with someone who did something abhorrent. To those who did mistakes, I don't judge them on that alone. I don't burn bridges. I'm still friends with them if they want to. I only met and worked with few people. From what personalities they have shown me, I learn to deal with those. I'm the kind of person who is reserved and not fully trust someone. Others I have lost touch. Others we would reconnect every now and then. Have you lost a best friend? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#have-you-lost-a-best-friend Luckily, I haven't. Maybe dogs? I have buried a lot of dogs back home. Do women or men make better friends? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#do-women-or-men-make-better-friends That really depends. I have more female friends than male friends but that doesn't mean women are better. It just depends on your personalities and how you make it work. Do you believe in soulmate friends? https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/friend-questions-8e38f8dd#do-you-believe-in-soulmate-friends I believe that we give a portion of ourselves to every people we meet no matter how brief. We are all connected in a way. Therefore a part of us, a part of our souls stays with others and vice versa. A soulmate does not have to be romantic but it can be your brother or other family member or loved ones.

I'm not going to spoil you :D :D Anyway, it's a sunny morning here, feeling the warmth already. I thought it's going to be a gloomy one because it rained last night, fast and furious. The photo here was supposed to be a blog in Hive but I didn't make it. Now I'm not sure when will I be posting that. It's Friday and will be posting in Fungi Friday community again. Any plans for the weekend? Keep safe!

Some things to share I attended a free zoom meeting about Amazon VA. That's why I couldn't focus on my online hustles because I was thinking about this. It was an okay meeting. General overview as only given that time. Of course, at the end of the meeting, they will offer you masterclass but with fee. It is up to you if you want to pursue with this or not. E-commerce is one of the leading industries these days. Working with Amazon or other platforms can be profitable and it can be something worth looking into and considering working with. As you know, I am still in the process of looking for a job. It's not as easy when you don't know what you really want to do because there are lots of opportunities out there. That's why I'm looking into Amazon VA and see if this is something that will work for me or not. It involves sales, product listing, product knowledge, copywriting and a lot of research, research and more research. When we want to learn something new, we should have the right mindset to know that's why research is important. We have the internet as the best tool for that. While fake it till you make works, it is because you have the ability to research and not depend on your coworkers to spoon feed you everything. Also, we have to cope up with the ever changing times. Our skills should be updated. Knowledge should be upgraded. We all know that learning is never ending. It is progressive. Age is not an issue anymore. We say that we are left behind in terms of technology and such that is because we don't update ourselves, our knowledge. I said we for I myself is guilty of this. It made me realize last night during the zoom meeting I attended that I have not been learning anything for the past years. I am stuck with what I know. This is applicable to everyone. Whether you are fresh graduate or want to change career, starting something new can be daunting but to be armed with new skills or at least knowledgeable enough then you can make it. Resumes are not as simple now as before. We have Canva, MS Word templates and other online resume sites for us to make our resumes. Some of the things I learned last night was the how, what and who of your target. Who do you want to work with? What do you intend to do? How will you achieve your goals? What can you contribute? If you don't have the right skill and knowledge, these questions can be stressful to think about. So let's keep improving. Let's keep learning. Let's keep growing.

Can you take the heat? I fried food in a pan and right after I placed it on top of this not-so-eco-bag without realizing that the heat of the pan will melt it. It was when I lifted the pan after we ate that that the outcome was revealed. Some of the micro plastics stuck to the bottom of the pan. I had to scrub it to remove whatever stuck to the pan. Sometimes we are thrown into the heat of life. We don't realize right away that we are not built for it thus we melt away and be destroyed. Sometime though we stuck ourselves in the wrong places where we don't belong. We need others to scrub us away and free us. Ask yourself, have you tied yourself to where you shouldn't be? Do you really belong to where you are right now?

Of buildings and bank The lead image is one of the structures that I always pass by. I used that as my entry to reflection contest in Hive. You can check out my post there for more. https://ecency.com/hive-179017/@leeart/what-the-buildings-reflect-reflection-hunters-contest-round-91 I saw that building again today when I went to the bank earlier today which reminded me to join the contest. I took that photo while in a cab on my way to meet a friend some days ago. Banks as we all know have lots of offers that will make you want to spend more. When I applied for a credit card before, my credit limit was small. I started with PHP10,000 (around USD175). However, I can't use that 100%. I was only allowed to use 80%. The rest will serve as collateral. They offer that kind of program to those who couldn't meet the requirements in applying for credit card but still wants to avail one. You were given a probationary period to prove to them that you are capable enough to pay when you use your card. I think I used my card for six months that way. It may have been shorter or longer. I made sure that I wasn't delayed in my payments and I was able to pay everything. I then applied for an increase in my credit limit which was approved and I can use all of it 100%. My credit limit gradually increased until I was qualified for another program where they offer additional limit matching the credit limit that you have. Because you are in good credit standing, here's another way so you can spend more. Then tragedy struck. Suddenly, our family is visiting the hospital more and more such that everyone's finances had to be pooled to help with the expenses. I was then unable to pay for what I have spent using my card. Then pandemic hit. All the more reason for me to be unable to pay. However, I slowly did until I was able to pay fully and then I started paying on time again. For a year, I have been paying full and on time. When I went to the back today to check how much I can be qualified for credit to cash, I am qualified for almost 200% of my credit limit. That means I have built a good credit score again. I don't use my credit card that much. I just want to build a good credit score and have an option available where I can have financial source just in case. When our house burned down less than two years ago, my credit score was so bad that time that I can only qualify for a small amount. Talk about bad timing. That's why I am maintaining my credit line for emergencies like that but I hope I don't have to use it ever. From our jeepney terminal to the bank, it was about 10 minutes walk. I took the uphill route because it's shorter. It was almost 4 o'clock when I got there so I had a lot of time. However, that walk left me sweaty for it was hot outside. When I reached the bank, I wanted to go home right away lol! Because I was uncomfortable because of the heat and sweat from walking, I forgot one reason why I went to the bank. I hope I can remember that when I go back. From there, I walked back to our jeepney terminal and went home. I was planning on visiting some arts and then do some grocery shopping but I will save those for another day. Also, I am still in the process of applying for work and there are several options I am looking into so that was what I did when I got home. I don't do much online purchase but so far this is what I have earned from Shopback. My all time earning is PHP2K (around USD35). Some of that I have already withdrawn. The rest was just there. If you don't have Shopback yet, download the app now https://app.shopback.com/62SskvvkYub Use this app before using your other online apps like Shoppee, Lazada or FoodPanda so that you can earn cashback from your purchases online. So you have to open your Shopback first then open online shops through that app. There were times that I fail to open my Shopback before using online apps and I didn't earn cashback from my purchases. My earnings took years in the making. The more you spend, the more cashback you get :D

And edit it is and my Monday that felt like Sunday Yes, now we can edit posts and comments in noise. You can check me in noise if you haven't yet. https://noise.app/leeart I only use noise using the browser. I checked my comment right away when I saw the post by simon and indeed there is the edit button. By the way, have you rated the app? If not, better do it now here. Review and rate noise.app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.noise&pli=1 I'm beginning to like noise more and more. I realized I have been spending more time there than other platforms. I have posted there about our encounter with a monkey that attacked a lady by biting her hand and leg. Poor lady! I hope she is okay. Here's a picture of the face mask that I ordered last 11.11 from an online shop. I didn't expect it to be this thin. What do you expect with cheap products. I was naked and about to bath when I heard a knock. I thought I could ignore it but on the second knock, I quickly dressed and answered the door. This is the only drawback from deliveries. Some would inform you when they are right there at your doorstep. That is what happened today. Sometimes they will inform you a day before that your order will be delivered the next day so you canceled all your plans for that day just to wait for your delivery. During the pandemic, that is okay but now that we are not that restricted and we can go to places freely, this becomes an inconvenience. Earlier today, we went for a walk from our place to the next town where we thought we could check on the Adivay festival online to find out that the shops were just opening their stores so there was nothing to see. We decided to have breakfast instead. Unfortunately, the places we checked were not yet open and it's already 9 a.m. One will not open until 10 a.m. That's way too late for breakfast. Brunch maybe. Aside from the enjoyable walk, it was a series of unfortunate events, if you will. I was supposed to go to the bank but the branch I went to was closed. No problem though for I can still go tomorrow. I couldn't do it later in the day for I got busy. I really thought it was still Sunday today. It's like Sunday and Monday are meshed together I felt like they are one long day. How was your first/second day of the week so far? How about our weekend? Weekend for us is spent more at home as usual. At least I got to go for walks. I hope I can do that every morning again like how I have been doing. Not only are my clothes getting tighter but also the ring on my finger. Truly it is a sign that I have been eating a lot and thus evidenced in my body. I am listening to Linkin Park's The Hunting Party. I didn't realize that I haven't heard the full album. I was only familiar with some of the songs in that album. I haven't listened to Linkin Park in a while. So there goes Monday. Until the next blog! I am using the same lead image that I used yesterday which was a sunrise photo.
