Of honesty and almost accident
Not only that but also a quick walk in spite of the heat but now enjoying the coolness brought about by the rain.
How honest can you be?
I rode a jeepney on my way to town. Jeepney is one of the major transportation here in the our country. I was seated behind the driver and when you do sit there you have been designated as the one who will hand over the fare of passengers to the driver as well as hand to the passengers their change if they have some.
Once the vehicle is full, we headed to town. At this point, fares are being handed to the driver.
Halfway through town, the driver noticed that one Php20.00 bill is torn in half. Not only that, about 1/8 of the other half is missing.
If you are a jeepney driver, you are multitasking. You should be focused on your driving to bring your passengers to their destination safely. Aside from that, you are receiving fares and handing back change. You do that while not getting distracted driving.
During the process of exchanging of money, the driver didn't notice the torn bill right away. It must have been rolled or folded that he did not bother unfolding it.
Once he noticed it, he stopped by the road side for a minute and asked the passengers who handed that torn bill. He even said that he will let that person ride for free instead. Of course no one answered. Some of the passengers were murmuring amongst themselves and with each other making a joke of the situation.
Our fare is Php10.00. The one who gave that torn Php20.00 has gained Php10.00. Let's say that that person was aware of the state of that bill and he/she handed it without getting caught, then he gained Php10.00 easily. Now he/she can go back home with Php10.00 as fare.
Supposed he/she did not know the bill he/she handed was torn, then he/she need not be concerned for all the time she thought it was in good condition.
How careful can one be?
Still, on the same jeepney.
As we were going down one of the bends in the road, a motorcycle driver almost hit us. He decided to overtake the other motorcycles ahead of him but in that instant he almost hit our jeepney. Good thing he was able to speed through and turn the side of our road and parked just in time.
We already saw him coming and good thing the driver of our vehicle was able to stop in time as well to let him pass and drive through the road side.
Those who saw him exclaimed in frustration because of the misjudgment of the driver of the motorcycle.
We can only assume the worse.
We always say to be safe and we do but sometimes those around us are not that careful thus causing accidents.
So then we arrived at our jeepney terminal in town without further incidents.
I was supposed to buy a particular sausage that is being sold at the market encounter but there were no more stock available and the sales lady said to come back tomorrow.
I'll try and go tomorrow morning and hopefully there are available stocks.
I'll be posting this and then go to sleep after showering. I am just cooling down from my indoor exercise. I want to sleep now and then hopefully wake up earlier than usual tomorrow and do my tasks and also do some read. I haven't even visited my account in noise.
Without further ado, good night and thank you for always reading and supporting.
Nako..tamalak yung mga ganiyan .minsa pa nga po eh .fake na rin yung binabayad kasi alam nila na nakafocus yung driver sa pagmamanehio
