It's a natural thing among humans, we will never be contented with something. The more we grow, the more our ranks rises, the more the value of our needs and wants rises too. But what if it doesnt meet your satisfaction because you're used to that much of pleasure? Then you'll end up getting hurt.

Well what I see in that statement is that to acquire joy, peace, riches and all the pleasurable things of this earth you have to work for it and that effort your putting is not easy i.e painful.
