Our First Tomato Harvest this Season ***Hooray! The long wait is over. This is the only time that I wish the green turns red because that means our tomatoes are ready.*** It's not long ago when I shared with you about the greenhouse that we've got for Mum so she doesn't have to go to the bottom garden. I'm scared that she will fall. And yearly as you know by now, we always grow our own tomatoes. A greenhouse just for Mum. She has her own comfortable chair so she can relax here and have a snooze.
It didn't take long for the tomatoes to grow and look how it's high up now.
And started flowering and there you can see the green unripe tomatoes.
And now to this.
Some are ready so I'm excited to pick them up.
The first taste test of our first harvest of course goes to Mum. She had her tomatoes with salad cream.
And as for us? Oh it has to go with the rice! And perfect with fried fish. And garlic chilli soy sauce. I'm having cauliflower rice this time.
Oh the tomatoes are very nice same as last year. It's so juicy inside. I went back to the greenhouse and pick more after that because it was not enough. Even Jigz said it's really good! That's the joy of growing your own tomatoes. Just watering and feeding it right and it will be fruitful in months. *Di gaya ng iba na ibinigay mo na ang lahat lahat, sa huli wala kang napala kundi sakit sa puso at luha. Ang healthy ng greenhouse nyo madam, perfect nga para makarelax dyan at the same time may maharvest ka pa sa daming bunga. Pero ung hugot ang nagdala hahaha🤣

Wow..sarap ng mga tomatoes. Healthy na healthy.. sarap talaga may sariling tanim sa bakuran para dali lang mamitas kapag nagbunga na.. pero napapa ouch ako sa hugot sa huli ha..😊

Para kay nanay Malaga yan yearly lagi kming may tomatoes libangan na rin nya kaya lang hindi na fit si nanay maglakd lakad kahit katabi lang ng bahay kaya we do it for her.

Wow... That's one beautiful green house and those tomatoes grew up so fast. They look so healthy too. I still don't know how to eat Tomatoes raw like this 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣. I admire those who eat it raw. Mum had the first bite. That's so lovely. I was expecting Tia to be the one to pluck it 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣. I remembered how she and Jigz plucked the one that came up last year or so.
Next time I'll make them pick the tomatoes 😁 And seriously, you don't eat raw tomatoes? Oh you should try with anything fried!

It so good to see home-grown tomatoes. Nowadays, it is so good to plant fruits and veggies on our yards. Tomato being a fruit has many benefits to our body. This is so healthy for this is the fruit of labor literally tiredmom. How I wish I could pick one fruit tomato on the pot. It is really so wonderful to have like this at home. Hoping for abundance in your harvest.

Tomatoes are among the plants which can just be planted in our yard in cheap, easy and natural way.
The good thing about tomatoes is that you can just plant a few seeds and you'll get lots from them. My mom grew two tomatoes and we harvested more than 15 kilos of fruits. We ended up selling some because we can't consume everything. The last sentence is hilarious btw 😂

I could see those transformation stages these tomatoes of yours went through. After all, the end product seems to look very nice and fresh. That reminds me of this particular area of agriculture in my country too. We plant and harvest same too

The tomatoes are very healthy, they look so plump and very fresh. Tomatoes typically take an average of 90 days to get to maturity, they grow really fast 😁 you guys made the perfect meal using the fruits of your labour (literally 😂)

So nice to see your lovely red tomatoes. We too had here but due to over rain everything perished. Vegetables from our own garden is not a small thing. Free from pesticides. Do you put manure for these tomatoes to grow.

Omg, how I wish na mabigyan ko ng ganyan garden parents ko. Hehe. They planted a lo of vegies here, and they just put it outside our house. Good thing is that, we can also harvest it anytime and cook it.
Sis, malamig kasi dito kaya need ng greenhouse kung magtanim. Di naman applicable sa lahat ng plants at vegetables. Mainit naman satin kaya pahingahang kubo talaga
