Filipino Goodies From Philippines to Northern Ireland **So this is how it feels to receive a balikbayan box!** I was so excited today when I heard the doorbell ring. I rush to the door anticipating the box I've been waiting for. My sister sends me a box of Filipino goodies. It was supposedly last December but things didn't go according to plan as they contracted Covid and just this 11th of February she was able to ship this box of happiness.
And it all came safe and sound from the Philippines to Northern Ireland. We used Pasabuy **(The Filipino Goodies)** and I'm so happy and satisfied as their first-time customer. It was a smooth transaction and a fast shipment. My sister sent this 11th of February and they consolidate it in Las Pinas now I received the box today 28th of February.
*I'm just so proud of my siblings and my whole family. I never send them Balikbayan Boxes. Sending costs more than the item itself and the thing is I experienced sending boxes only to be told that they have to pay the Customs more which is ridiculous. So what I do is I bring my pasalubong when we go home as we have free baggage included for each of us.* When I hear stories about parents and siblings depending on their needs on their family abroad, I feel proud that my family don't oblige me with anything. They are even the most generous I ever know. Imagine sending this to me even it cost a fortune. £20 per kg now it's £23. For this sister paid £200 just to treat me. And what else can I say but **thank you?** I opened it and if only you see my eyes shine so bright as if it was a feast I'm looking at. And lol look what I've got!
**I love Filipino food and it will not replace any other food in the world because that's what my taste buds "Michellin Star".** And needless to say that we're having Corned Beef for dinner. I missed Highlands. Corned beef here is completely different from ours in the Philippines. My husband like our corned beef but I think he prefers Argentina now because that's the only one available in the Asian store. So it's cooking time again! Corned Beef Fried Rice
You know when I opened the box, I can already smell the "dangit" and "pusit". It's smell so good!!! And then my husband came saying, " What's that I smell?" And here comes Tia, **"Mommy, it's stinking in here!"**
Oh well, can't please everybody but as far as my nose is concerned it's smell like cake to me! My husband hates the smell of it. And when I cook it in the house the smells stay. And I'm smiling at him and says, **"It's smell so good!"** With a big smile on my face just to annoy him. So he went to the garage and stays there for a good while. Then for the kid's snack for school, they will be having Fudgee Bar. Tia loves custard flavour and it's chocolate for Jigz. I already ate half the box of polvoron. Oh, it tastes so good! This will last hopefully a week lol. Oh, happy Momma here! Thank you for reading.

Momma, when can I visit? These goodies must be tasted by me too hahahaha. This is so nice and thoughtful of her. You are an amazing person so I am not surprised anyway... You deserved good and great things.
My family is very good to me, dear. We experienced having nothing and having each other back in the worst time. Whoever has something shares and help. And it's just so good to have such family.

Wow you've managed to receive a balikbayan box came from Philippines, it's nice to see goods such as piyaya, pulvoron, banana chips and chiceria that cost 2 pesos here on Philippines. Many people here on Philippines prefer those chocolates and gifts came from their relatives abroad while those people in abroad prefer foods in the Philippines. I hope you like those food specially the dried pusit.
Kaya nga ako pa pindalhan kakatuwa din naman although kakapaghinayang ang mahal ng courier. Love ko lahat bhe!!!!

Bhe hahanaphanpin mo din talaga mga pagkaing kinalakihan mo. Kahit gaano kasarap mga pagkain dito mas masarap pa rin ang aten.
Everything seemed fine. But I'm not comfortable with dry fish. You like it too much, right?
Oh a lot! My father is a fisherman so we are used of eating dried fish.
I used DHL from Cebu to France took only 3 days as in ang super dali but I paid it rush dahil may documents needed to get married. Umabot 5.6k pesos for 5kg. Next ipasama ko sa padala is goldilocks polvoron and pancit canton. hehe
That's very nice and fast too! Almost same price sis. Ansarap talaga ng polvoron ng Goldilocks classic lang ako.

Buti nmn sis nkapag packaged ang family mo diyan. Masarap tlga ang highlands cornbeef sis at may pampaganda pa sinali hehehe. Sarap ng danggit at pusit. Mahal ang kilo nyan sis.

I once an OFW before and I can relate with your experience. The excitement is on its high level. You are truly right, Filipino foods are still different from other products that we used to. I think balikbayan box is one of remedy for our happinesses.
Ma'am ang sarap ng dangit at pusit. 🤤 Nakakagutom po ma'am. 🤤 Hehe nabigla si Tia sa amoy ma'am pero para sa atin sobrang bango tas magugutom na tayo sa amoy palang. 😅 Sobrang sarap talaga niyan tas may suka ma'am with kanin. Mamiss mo talaga ma'am nuh ang mga pagkain ng mga Filipino. ❤️

I bet it wouldn't last long ahaha ubos na agad kay Tia and Jigz! Nakakamiss nga naman kasi pag nasa abroad and there are no suppliers unlike sa ibang country na meron mangilan ngilan. Recently we also sent a box of goodies to my friends in Singapore. 1 year palang sila dun pero miss na nila ang pancit canton haha

From this story, I can conclude that your family really care and love you. Ang mahal nung shipping grabe, pero okay lang padalhan ka lang ng mga Filipino goodies dyan sa Ireland.

OMG madamsss happy tummy kana nyarn for sure. Yiehhhh haha. Favorite din namin ang Highlands Corned Beed kaso so pricey sya ee. Pero not sure pala, pero basta balik Argentina kami one of the best, pati meatloaf nila ee the best UwU.
Ruffa masarap yung isang kulay nito pero tama mas makasave sa argentina panalo ang lasa si papa ko ay cdo carne norte talaga at dun kami laki.
