Sopas good for the cold weather

When it comes to pinoy comfort food especially today in a cold weather Sopas are top of the list. This delicious chicken soup packed with veggies and elbow pasta is a favorite on rainy days and even enjoyed in breakfast.

There are many variations of sopas. Some sopas are creamy thanks to addition of evaporated milk, other contains hotdogs. Which are added lastly to prevent the broth from turning to pink, and some contain pork or beef. Also leftover chicken makes a great addition to sopas.

The sopas is filling on its own but for a heartier meal, I usually complete it with sides of puto, warm pandesal, saltine crackers, and tasty bread. As pasta tends to absorb a lot of liquid, drying out the soup over time, I keep a pot of the creamy broth simmering on the stove to quickly replenish the soup as needed. ❤️

Right,it fits with a cold weather caause eating it while it still hot was giving a warm feeling to the body, it also serves in some gathering, commonly in burial right? but a meal it can eaten in anytime ,the taste of soup gives us the great feeling when we have a zip on it till the last drop.A delicious food.

WOw! I miss this sopas. It really taste yummy and delicious. Chicken Sopas is my ultimate comfort food! With chicken, macaroni, vegetables, hot dogs, and flavorful broth, this soup is creamy, delicious, and the best way to warm up on cold winter days. A very very awsome my favorate snack too. I also love this if i put spicy vinegar . Specially when you are at on the balcony and eat it while watching the rain. Very yummy and nice article
