The biology class started, the teacher informed them that they had exactly 14 days to do what they were asked to do.
She immediately made it clear to them in class, as well as in the online classroom.
Whoever doesn't bring and doesn't do it, will get a unit. I'm not interested in the reasons.
Otherwise, the project carries the slogan "Living beings from my environment".
A selection of woody plants suggested maple, oak, sycamore, linden, wild chestnut, birch, willow, sour wood, hazel, spruce, fir, thuja, white pine, black pine, lilac, Siberian elm, acacia, paper mulberry, black poplar .
My son decided on a linden tree, he collected the leaves himself, pressed them, by putting the leaves between the newspapers, then putting them over a heavy book, changing the newspapers every two days.
He crossed out the linden tree by placing a piece of paper and crossing it gently with wax paint.
On this panel, the title Linden first appears, to the right that the species is Silver Linden, its Latin name.
There he described that lindens are more often found in the northern hemisphere, in our country we can find them in mixed forests, we meet them in parks.
He described the leaf as simple, complete, serrated around the perimeter, heart-shaped, spinally arranged, pointed at the top,
That the linden inflorescences are greenish-yellow in color, have a pleasant odor, that the ripening fruit is nutty, as can be seen.
He wrote that it is a medicinal plant, that tea is made, wood is used to make toys. It is not used in construction and the furniture industry, because its strength is low.
He glued these leaves and this nutty fruit with glue.
I hope he will be well rewarded for his work, effort.
I am really proud of how he designed his billboard, how he presented it.
