The vast majority of people enjoy watching documentaries that deal with the topic of diving. Unfortunately, many of them never get the opportunity to experience something like that for various reasons. However, what most people can afford is diving in shallow sea water.
To dive, you need expensive equipment, which you either have to buy or rent. Then you need a guide who will take care of you whether you are an amateur or a certified diver. All of this requires significant funds that you can sometimes spend better on. Also, some people, in addition to a great desire for adventure, have a great fear of the depths, so they are not able to fully enjoy the experience. The solution to all these problems is to dive in shallow sea water, where you can stay on your feet any time when you wish.
At first glance, such an adventure may seem uninteresting to you with the question of what can be seen and experienced in the shallows.
But trust me, you will be surprised by all that can be revealed here.
First of all, precautions
At the outset, we must first tell you that many people make the mistake of diving in shallow water because they do not take into account that their backs will be exposed to the sun for a long period of time which can lead to problems with sunburn. This is additionally dangerous because since our skin in such a case is often wetted and cooled by the water in which we dive and later we notice that we have got burns. So if we decide for this activity, we must protect our backs well with a water-resistant cream or wear a T-shirt that will protect us from the sun.
How to choose the right place for diving in shallow sea water
The first thing you need to be aware of is that the main things happen on the surface and in the cracks of the rocks. Rocks are a place inhabited by living organisms and form their colonies and habitats there. You will recognize a good rock by seeing traces of flora on it and it does not have a smooth surface. The more uneven and hollow the surface of the rock, the more likely it is to find interesting animals that have settled there. When choosing a place you have to take into account the tides because the water level affects the formation of living life below the surface. So choose places that are always below the water surface during low tide. It is also desirable that the rock you have chosen, the waves do not hit hard when the weather is nice, because in such places it is difficult for organisms to stay in large numbers.
But first of all, when choosing a holiday destination, ask a travel agent if there are places where you could go where you want to go. Also when you are there, ask the locals to recommend a good place for what interests you.
Equipment
As far as equipment is concerned, the simplest mask and breathing tube are enough. For those who want to get to know the living world in full splendor, I recommend a magnifying glass. But I must mention that a simple magnifying glass cannot be useful to you because water is a different environment from air and that is why if you want you can find and get a magnifying glass that is made for magnification under water.
Children will love this activity
And finally, what’s most beautiful about shallow-water diving is that it’s fun for the whole family. If you go on vacation with children, no matter how small, you can enjoy this activity together with them without any fear.
a matter of the individual.I prefer to swim without seeing what is under my feet.
