Palmolive and Quirks
First and foremost, let me greet you a pleasant evening. I hope that your day went well, not so much troubles, not so much difficulties, and not so much stress.
I hope that you are reading this in a cool room and that you are seated back, comfortably laying on your bed, or just relaxed and worrying about nothing.
Of course, I went in with nothing in mind, 15 minutes in the clock and just a clean screen and the intimidating keypad. I just mindlessly pressed the start button and here I go.
Oh yeah, I just remembered our little conversations with my colleagues earlier. You see, our boss went out and he was out for the whole day. And just when the afternoon began, we just gathered in the middle of the office and just talked. Just about anything and everything that I asked about.
We were closely gathered and we were laughing. One topic that we dived into was how many sachets of shampoo they use. One girl has a really lustrous long hair. It was thick, and beautifully black. She said that she uses shampoo every day and uses about 3 sachets of Palmolive a day. Maaan. That's a lot. I just realized how costly maintaining a girl's hair is. Shampoo, conditioner, regular trimming, rebond, and many other treatments too.
Whereas for us normal boys, we just use anti-dandruff shampoo at least twice a week. For most of us, we use wax or gel products to style our hair, and that's about it. Girls however, damn. You have my sympathy though. The conversation quickly moved from shampoo use to shampoo girls linked with an actor names Gerald Anderson. And of course, Luis Manzano didn’t escape the chika minute too.
Also, we moved towards shower antics and quirks. There are thinkers in the showers and there arw of course, the usual singers. I do sing in the shower but I mostly think of stuff. Apparently, some of us talk to ourselves while showering. And here's the interesting bit, and all the girls among the group agree.
According to them, dancing while brushing your teeth is a common activity. I didn't know that. And I still can't move on from that fact. And they all admittedly do that regularly. And us guys were like, what? Why? How?
I seriously thought that it was strange, but oddly interesting. I didn't really know that. I know people who talk while brushing, I also know people who sing while brushing, but dancing? And according to them, it's not the TikTok moves that you just move your hands and head, it's REAL dancing. That's weird but really interesting.
What about you? Do you do anything quirky like that in the bathroom?
Speaking of weird and quirky, today marks the first day of the campaign duration for local candidates. The roads were filled by trucks and vehicles playin jingles of the local candidates.
There were some motorcades too. And of course, a lot of congestion on the road. Some songs were really catchy but there are some that are just too quirky or just really cringey. I don't know, maybe that's their tactic to be memorable to people and that's a way to have a big impact, but that's just too meh for me.
Hi!
This has been another product of my freewriting session. Timer was set to 15 minutes and I just let the words flow continuously. And I literally mean continuously without having to pause for longer than 3 seconds. This is written using The Most Dangerous Writing App that deletes everything if you stop typing for more than 3 seconds.
I'm now using it almost every time. It helps me focus and write within a time frame.
Anyway, I'd like to know your thoughts about the topics too.
Do you have any quirks that you think are unique to you?
Do you have any uncommon rituals or activities you do behind closed doors?
What are some pet peeves that you see from people you know?
What are some things that people you know do that shocked, surprised or weirded you out?
Also, if you can create an article about any of the topics listed above, your article is welcome in the Prompt Factory.
That's it from me and until we read again...
Cheers!!!
