Recap:

Jeremy walked Mari home when she stumbled upon the fast-food restaurant where he worked. She collapsed in front of the establishment in exhaustion from running away from someone or something that was seemed to be after her. Jeremy walked with her to somehow make her feel safe and comfortable.

Jeremy walked home alone after dropping Mari off. He also felt the strange and creepy stares from a distance.

Continuation:

The day started like any other day for Jeremy. He got up in time, got dressed, and spent some time trying to fix his bed hair. He went down to the kitchen and ate breakfast that was prepared by Andrea. He then went on his way to school.

The ominous presence and the heavy stares he felt last night were all gone and he walked peacefully from his house to the school without a single issue along the way.

He exchanged greetings and pleasantries with some students that passed by him and greeted him. Although he does not really stand out among the crowd, Jeremy was civil enough to know people from here and there. Maybe he was not emitting enough "leave me alone" vibes. For someone who likes to be alone, he looked so comfortable interacting with people.

He walked through the building and headed straight towards his locker to change into his indoor shoes. As he opened the door of his locker a pink envelope fell out. He bent down to pick it up and opened it up.

There was a note inside that reads:

After last period. Meet me at the park.

It was a brief and simple note. The sender didn't even sign his or her name on the note. While reading the note, Jeremy was contemplating who the sender might be.

Could it be? Is this it? Is it really? Oh! my youth!

"Hmm. wow. A love letter huh? It's quite trendy these days."

A voice came from over his shoulder and he quickly turned to the voice while hiding the note behind me.

"I like that. Concise, direct to the point. Maybe she'll be confessing later." Momo continued to tease him.

"What? No. Maybe they got the wrong locker." Jeremy humbly replied.

"Oh, quit that fake humility." Momo snapped back.

"Fake?" whispered Jeremy. He was trying to contest but he remembered that it was Momo who he was talking to, words don't really have an effect on her.

"Just appreciate it okay. Someone shows interest, the least you could do is entertain her. You can politely decline if you are not into it. But don't go denying their intentions just like that."

What Momo said made a lot of sense and it was enough to make Jeremy silent and guilty on what he just said and did.

"You're right. I'll go meet with her later." Jeremy said.

Momo squinted her eyes as she looked at Jeremy fawning over the envelope in his hands. It was a look that Jeremy could not understand but there was something inside his chest that beat on his heart making it skip a bit.

"What is it?" Jeremy asked.

"Nothing. Someone may get jealous if they know you're going to meet another girl." Momo said before she walked away leaving Jeremy behind.

"Jealous? Wait? What? Who?" Jeremy was confused but he was a bit excited with all of it. Someone is interested in him, someone else may get jealous, and he has no clue. Not a clue about any of it.

"Hey!" another voice came from behind him while he was walking up the stairs.

"Oh, hey Junjun."

"Are you alright Jermy? You look flushed. What's up?" Junjun inquired.

For someone so dumb, he's quite perceptive.

"I'm okay. Just tired from walking maybe."

"Alright, I thought you received a love letter too. Mari looks exactly like that earlier. She received another note. That punk sure has quite the followers." Junjun exclaimed.

"Hm.. Momo's right then. It's the days of love notes."

Jeremy sat through the classes more detached than usual. He was just looking at the clouds outside the window of the classroom. He was observing how the leaves of the trees sway with the wind and he was just passing time. He was very much looking forward to the sender of the note.

He was playing a lot of scenarios in his mind each time with a different girl. He even thought about Ms. Erika asking him out in the park. His imagination was really on fire.

It was the end of the class and Jeremy was rushing. He picked up his things and then went out of the door before any other student.

He then went back and peered on the side of the door.

"Hey! Momo, I'm skipping the club today." Jeremy said.

"Suit yourself, I don't care," she answered without even looking at him.

"I will be skipping too," Mari said and followed Jeremy.

Momo looked at Mari as she disappeared beyond the door of the classroom.

"What's the matter with those two?" Junjun said as he walked towards Momo.

"Bye. I will be skipping too. See you tomorrow." Momo said and walked out of the door too.

"What was that?" Junjun said scratching his head.
