The controversial granite building does not stop supporting the imagination of the public, and most believe that its construction was financed by Satanists.
In the district of Elbert in the northeast of the American state of Georgia, there is a striking architectural structure, which from afar resembles European prehistoric monuments such as the famous Stonehenge in Great Britain. Built more than three decades ago, the massive stone building with the official name Georgia Guidestones, better known as "American Stonehenge", consists of six granite slabs and is almost six meters high, and its total weight is about 108 tons. It is considered one of the most mysterious modern buildings whose symbolism and construction motifs, as well as the identity of the clients, constantly arouse controversy.
The only traces of the origin of the monument are on a nearby plate in which the dimensions and several other basic data are engraved. However, whoever designed this monument knew very well what it was doing: it is an extremely high quality and complex structure that perfectly follows the movement of the Sun, while the aura of mystery causes endless fascination and attracts many curious people, primarily controversial epistles to humanity. plates.
In June 1979, the office of Elberton Granite Finishing was visited by a certain Robert C. ChristianX, who said he was coming in front of a "small group of loyal American citizens." The person who ordered the monument soon admitted that it was a pseudonym, but to this day no one has found out his identity or the names of the persons he allegedly represented.
Christian told the confused president of the company, Joe Fendley, that he wanted to order a huge building that would serve as a compass, calendar and clock, and which should contain an engraved set of messages written in eight living and four ancient languages, addressed to the planet's population. He also demanded that the monument be resistant to most natural disasters so that the remnants of humanity could use the guidelines to establish a better civilization than the current one, which, as he said, is largely collapsing.
A few weeks later, the money for the construction of the monument was in the company's account, two hectares of land were selected, and the clients demanded the engagement of the best experts in stone processing and construction of the monument, and that all documentation be handed over to them after the project to keep the secret forever undiscovered.
The purchase of the land established the future of the American Stonehenge. Christian soon left Elberton and has since communicated exclusively in writing through Wyatt Martin, president of Granite City Bank and the only person other than Fendley to have personally contacted him. He first wrote only five weeks after leaving, to inquire about the transfer of ownership of the monument and land to Elbert County. Fendley is no longer alive, and eighty-year-old Martin testifies today that all of Christian's letters then arrived from various locations around the world.
Construction of the monument began later that summer. The requirements regarding his specifications were so complex that Fendley had to seek the services of experts from the University of Georgia. Namely, the astronomical dimension of the building is reflected in several aspects: four load-bearing plates are oriented in accordance with the annual movement of the Sun, ie the inclination of the Earth's axis, while the central stone pillar fulfills two functions - the opening in it with the position of the rising Sun during the equinox and solstice. However, the monument is interesting primarily because of its 10 messages to humanity in English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi and Swahili, which are engraved on vertical plates, as well as the statement on the purpose of the monument. age of reason ”- engraved on the sides of the top stone with Egyptian hieroglyphs, in classical Greek, Sanskrit and Babylonian cuneiform.
The unknown identity of R. C. Christian and the lack of information about the true significance of the monument, inevitably prompted different interpretations of its symbolism among numerous researchers.
One of them is activist Mark Dyce, author of the book "Manifesto of Resistance", who in 2005 advocated the demolition of the monument, claiming that Satanists were behind its construction. In his opinion, Christian was a member of the secret Lucifer Society, which is at the head of the New World Order, and with such an attitude he caused great media attention. After the publication of Dice's book, the monument was targeted by vandals who wrote graffiti on it: "Jesus will defeat you, Satanists", "Death to the New World Order" and the like. In addition to Dice, Jay Weidner, a former radio commentator from Seattle, put forward one of the most popular hypotheses. Namely, he claims that Christian and his group are members of the Rosicrucians, followers of the Order of the Rose Cross - a secret society of mystics that originated in medieval Germany and that influenced the founding of Masonic lodges. The guidelines on the monument, he points out, are actually "instructions for survivors", because the secret organization behind the construction of the monument is working to establish "planetary chaos" which has already begun with the collapse of the American financial system. food, mass riots and wars in the world, until the complete destruction of the planet.
Those familiar with the work of secret societies also recognize the similarities between the instructions on human population control and the program goals of the eugenic movement of American and European scientists from the end of the 19th and the middle of the 20th century, whose ideas were literally taken over and brutally applied by Hitler. the monument is based on the philosophy of Thomas Payne, a British philosopher from the 18th century, who in the book "Age of Reason" promotes reasonable reasoning and free thought, advocating against Christian doctrine. But, there are also those who see in the granite building, above all, peaceful messages of peace and harmony. One of them is the Japanese artist Yoko Ono, who in 1993 wrote the song "Georgia Stone", published on the album of John Cage, in which he mentions the last direction on the monument. In any case, the official keeper of the secret of the Wyatt Martin monument once said: "Because of things like this, I want to tell people everything I know." Although the retired president of Granite City Bank has pledged to destroy all notes on his dealings with Christian, he has not done so to date, and claims to take his secrets to the grave, just as a "representative of loyal Americans" would expect. I hope you liked this, so I would like to ask you to freely comment on this post, thank you in advance.
An interesting story. History is full of mysteries and monuments whose origins are being investigated.
