Let The Earth Breathe
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ!!
In an emotional speech last week in Los Angeles, Nasa scientist Peter Kalmus implored people to listen to the dire warnings of climate change experts.
“We’re going to lose everything,” Kalmus said in a video of the moment. “And we’re not joking, we’re not lying, we’re not exaggerating.”
Dr Kalmus, a climate scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, was participating in a protest organized by Scientist Rebellion as part of a global day of action by scientists around the world. His protest in LA involved scientists chaining themselves to the doors of a JPMorgan Chase building.
“I’m here because scientists are not being listened to. I’m willing to take a risk for this gorgeous planet,” Dr Kalmus said while chained to the door. He then started to cry as he added: “For my sons.”
“This is for all of the kids of the world, all of the young people, all of the future people,” Dr Kalmus said later. “This is so much bigger than any of us.”

Let us utilize our voices and platforms to speak out about what is going on on the earth. Either small or wide your platform is, it may still be used in a straightforward manner. We are all aware that those scientists, notably NASA scientist Peter Kalmus, who were peacefully protesting but were nevertheless arrested, are being talked about all over social media. They only want the government to listen to them when it comes to climate change and what will happen to the earth in the next 3-5 years. If we do not adapt and help the world with this issue, we will face devastating results of Global Warming in the next 4-5 years, and the government will do nothing.
I am not highly informed in this matter, but I am eager to study and do my part to help since I still want to live longer than the 3-5 years that NASA estimates humanity will survive. Some individuals may not believe in this, but let us raise awareness about it. Please!
Climate change describes a change in the average conditions — such as temperature and rainfall — in a region over a long period of time. NASA scientists have observed Earth’s surface is warming, and many of the warmest years on record have happened in the past 20 years.

What's going on in the Philippines? It's supposed to be summer, but what's happening on? Tropical cyclones have slammed the Philippines, causing landslides in Leyte. We're starting to witness the results, just as the number of cyclones has increased recently and had a huge impact on our country. Consider how the environment is changing, how those changes aren't good, and what we can do to help before it's too late.
Ways to Help and Conserve the Environment
Save Electricity
Turn off any appliances or other gadgets that aren't in use. To save electricity, turn off the lights for you. Lights, televisions, video games, and other electrical devices fall under this category.
Delete unwanted emails
You may google up why we should delete those unwanted emails on the computer, but for now, believe me when I say it will help avert climate change. The simplest approach to lower your computer's carbon footprint is to delete emails. A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced by an individual, event, organization, service, place, or product, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalents.
Save the water
Let us all try to conserve water by not overusing it and adopting the practice of putting used water on your plants after you've washed your plates and such.
Drive less
This is one of the advantages of public transportation: it reduces the number of personal vehicles roaming the country with only one occupant. Use public transit or a bike as often as feasible. You can also walk if you are going to a nearby location that is within walking distance.
Spread awareness to your family and friends
This is what I'm doing right now; we need to raise awareness among the people we know so that they may be adequately informed on the problem. Let us all work together to win this battle.
Conclusion
If you are familiar with ECOSIA, you may use it to search on the internet instead of using Google. Every search you conduct will result in the planting of one plant. Imagine if we could all use Ecosia to search on the internet for almost anything, there would be a massive amount of plants to be put on the planet. You may use it to search for more information.
Let us not underestimate this issue; it is a major one to which we must pay attention. Scientists did not put in a lot of effort and study just to be ignored and arrested. I know we're better than this, and I'm hoping the government takes notice. Let us all pray for God's assistance in winning this endeavor.
Ps. Patulog na sana ako pero nilalamon ako ng konsensya na hindi gumawa ng action towards sa issue na to. Gumawa din ako netong article para may maisend akong link sa mga kakilala at kaibigan ko to raise awareness. You can also do the same. LET THE EARTH BREATHE!

I've been meaning to delete some of my emails but I have been procrastinating.
Indeed, we have to do our part in preserving what is left of nature.
