A love like no other.
The two young men were in a very quiet coffee shop in town, while Harry set out to eat something light his friend Mart was enthusiastic about a hamburger.
But as they ate their breakfast Harry didn't miss a chance to look at the girl who waited on them, she earlier approached their table and after being cordial with the greeting asked them what they would like to eat.
Everyone ordered what they wanted while she served them with a nice smile, this smile held Harry captive. His friend noticed, they had been friends since childhood and both knew each other very well in their actions.
Mart didn't hesitate to catch his friend's eye, telling Harry that he didn’t know this type of woman…
"They usually just chase after rich guys' money, so stop thinking about her and stick to what you do know, business."
Harry smiled at her, but didn't take his eyes off her, they finished eating and were ready to leave the premises to get on with their lives.
Mart and Harris worked in the same building. Harry was the son of the owner of a major company and managed many of his father's important negotiations, as the son of the owner he had an important level of management that he performed very well. He had been involved in his father's business for several years and that taught him a lot of important things to make important negotiations for his father.
Meanwhile Mart only had a position of importance imposed by Harry's father thanks to the friendship that united them since childhood.
Returning to Harry, that night after seeing the wonderful smile of the girl from the place where they had breakfast, Marisa, he could no longer sleep, then he came up with a plan in which he would pretend to be a poor boy to get Marisa's attention.
So it was that three days later Harry searched among his suits for the most threadbare clothes and even so he placed them in such a way that they appeared to be very deteriorated clothes. Like the shoes, he wore them on the floor so many times that he ended up removing some of the leather that covered them to give them that worn look.
The beard was unshaven and the worn hair was only smoothed with his hand, it looked dirty, but still looked attractive, he went to the cafeteria and there he sat down at the table to ask the girl to wait on him.
There she was, just as before with the best of smiles attending him amicably. He apologized and asked her if with the few coins he had he could eat something, to which the girl with her smile answered yes. He brought her a breakfast which they both knew was not that cheap but neither of them said so and let it pass as if they did not realize it.
So he continued to go other times, now a little better groomed and shaved but with very worn clothes and the same jacket that he himself was in charge of trampling so many times until he damaged it at his convenience.
That day he would ask Melisa to please accompany him for a walk in the park, she gladly accepted and they met, they walked through the park telling each other about their lives.
Melisa told him that she had to work out of necessity, her father was sick and could not bring home any food, so she had to go out on the street to find a way to get out of her financial predicament, everything she got from her job as a waitress she invested in her father's care and in the debts of the house.
He, for his part, also told her about his life, but he always tried not to talk about too many details in order to be a little convincing and not to give himself away.
