"Emir (command) cuts iron" is a Turkish idiom.

It expresses a cultural respect for emphasizing the necessity of fulfilling the wishes of loved ones and elders.

Some traditions and honorifics may lose their validity for generations that begin to erode with changing and developing lives.

Everyone has free will to live their period to the fullest, but I like to adapt the meaning of some idioms and proverbs to my life.

When the order was addressed to the father's two sons; the past, the future, culture, technology and similar concepts do not matter much.

Olive trees have a sacred appearance in a region whose primary livelihood is olives and olive oil. With the product obtained in a single season, almost the whole year can be spent in abundance and abundance.

But obtaining olives involves a difficult process. Olive trees, like many trees, do not have a harvestable structure that produces products every year. In challenging geographies, the situation becomes even more difficult.

On average, the desired level of product can be obtained once every two years. But this only happens if climatic conditions contribute. All crops and labor can be lost if the climate is too rainy or too hot at a time when the olive trees are in bloom.

Trees in need of special care are of primary importance to those who make a living from it. In this sense, it is imperative that trees undergo maintenance that includes certain times of the year.

The commandment that came to us from the Father includes this; Take care of olive trees!

Pruning the trees, cleaning the harmful bushes around, preventing the erosion of the roots due to the sloping land, spraying if necessary are some of the care that can be done.

I must say that the maintenance will vary according to the difficulty or suitability of the terrain where the trees are located. While these operations can be done very easily in a harmonious terrain, in difficult geographies such as in the pictures, these operations are a much more difficult and long process.

“The land cannot be sold!” This idea is family tradition for many here. I'd say it's an ancestral habit. The area I show in the pictures is for my father; inherited from his father. It was inherited from his father, too. It will be left to us by my father! And we will not sell!

These trees, which have been a source of bread for every generation for centuries, have continued their duties by continuing with a new generation after every generation that has ended. There were those who defy time as well as those who succumbed to time, but the result did not change. A new tree was planted in its place.

The best part of taking and sharing photos, albeit amateurishly, is to show what you see. All of these and more are the scenes I saw and faced throughout the week, starting over the weekend.

All content and images belong to me.

Its like a farm, in the case of my parents they have many siblings and my grandparents decided not to dive the farm that we have. Instead we just make it as a vacation house. If they will divide the farm there is a lot of chances that it will be sold to other people so we just decided to make it the same and maintain its original structure. Because its not just a property its the place where we learned to love and be loved by our parents.

Since it will now be a place where it has sentimental value, it will cause you to think more about selling and make the decision not to sell. There are memories of the times spent.

How lovely to have such a thing in the family! If we take care of the land, it will in turn take care of us! Also, Thanks for the sponsorship, I appreciate it!

That's right, it has been making a living for its owners for centuries. Whatever you give him he gives back.

Trees are our life support. They should be saved first for the future generation and for the survival of all organisms.
