Hello, guys! How are you? I just got home from Daycare today. The night before yesterday, my husband cut my hair using his razor, I didn't plan to make it so short, what I wanted to do is to just cut a little bit since my hair was too long near my hips already. But he insisted to cut it short and here's the result. It's not bad though. 😅 Hair would grow back in time so I'll just enjoy having short hair in the meantime. ☺ Happy lunch time by the way. 💚

Another day at the Daycare’s done. How time flies so fast, I have another daycare student. My firstborn already moved up from Pre-Kindergarten last June. Last night, we experienced a sudden power interruption that lasted for almost 25 minutes. Gladly, we have these fairy lights powered by batteries on our Christmas tree. This serves as our light last night, making the kids enjoy the dark instead of getting scared. 😅 Using battery-operated fairy lights is indeed one of our ’tipid’ or thrifty ways to ease our electric bill. 😅 As of now, here in the province, the price of electricity is playing on 14.90 kilowatts per hour. 🙃

Our neighbor, who is a tutor gave these arts and crafts for the kids to enjoy today. These kinds of materials are of great help in developing their skills in coloring and imagination too, especially with my secondborn, since my eldest is already good at coloring. They both love to color but my eldest loves to do it more. Now I have time to relax after some chores are done today. I'll gonna get this chance while they’re busy. 😁

Are you familiar with this? It's called Molo balls, a well-known product here in Iloilo. A family came by to visit us here in the province today and he bought and gave us these Molo balls as “pasalubong”. It looks like siomai but it isn't, it's cooked like a soup and is perfect for this kind of weather we are experiencing today, rainy. He got this from Molo, Iloilo where this product originated. ☺

My Aunt handed me this pork chicharon today, and I am so loving it. ☺ I miss eating pork chicharon because it's so hard to find this here in town. Since the power interruption is too prolonged, it's too hot to stay indoors. So, we made an effort to stop by this spot on the highway to fetch some fresh air. We stayed there for a couple of minutes just enough to make us refreshed from the hectic sunny day. Sharing with you the view we enjoyed earlier. This vast field is located just near the highway. The solar panel is out while the sun peeks today. It was gloomy earlier but after I saw the sun is out, I put the solar panel out too to catch some sunlight. Because of too high electricity cost hike last month, we decided to use solar string bulbs for our night light on the terrace. At last! I’m done with cutting these colored papers into small pieces. These cut papers will be used for the activities in the daycare center. It's a Cow. 🤣 While I was giving the kids these candies, I told them to enjoy their ‘haw haw de carabao’, however, they quickly corrected me that it’s not a carabao, and is a cow, lol. It's lunchtime! And we are having chicken adobo for lunch. 😊 I managed to budget a one hundred peso bill for our breakfast and lunch today. It rained so hard just a while ago, the kids were stranded at school, thankfully my husband came home early today, he was the one who fetch our son. However, he didn't bring his motorcycle since the rain was too heavy. He just rode on a tricycle and just brought an umbrella with him, and they came home safe and dry too. We are currently experiencing a long power interruption, the electricity was out last night before 9 pm until presently.
