I was woken up by a siren coming from the town's fire truck. It was too early in the morning at dawn, when we heard the 3rd siren as an emergency that the river is rising again at 6.5 meters near critical level. I thought yesterday would be the last panic we will experience but here we are again, cautious and nervous that the ricer might overflow any time today. The tropical storm is now a little far from us here, yet it rained so heavily yesterday until last night making the water on the river rise. Now the sun is peeking a little and no more rain at the moment, hopefully, there will be no more downpours today. I can not focus on something else aside from checking updates on our town. 🥺

Agiy, be alert nalang.
Be ready always sis, ingat kayo dyan palagi, ingat tayong lahat.
