A guide to mgames
This afternoon as I was replying to some comments on my noisy post about the play to earn games, I happened to ask @Pichi28 if she had already tried the games from GCash. She asked me what games I usually play and I have decided to make an article about it. If you have not yet read my article, Game day Friday, you might want to read it first so you woukd know what I will be sharing today.
Mineski Global which is a Singapore based esports company launched mgames, a social casual gaming platform. I first saw it on Lyka app last year and I happen to see it on GCash recently. I have been playing mgames since last year and I was really happy to see it on GCash.
How to play:
1. Open GCash app
2. Tap on GLife
3. Search for mgames
4. Explore
There are a lot of games you can choose whether it is puzzle, bubble shooter, strategy, match games, action, cars or arcade. ALL games are FREE to play as long as you have energy. Energies are generated over time. And there are also some games wherein you need to compete and it require some TOKEN. A token is equivalent to Php15. Like I mentioned last time that competing in games is like a gamble because you do not know whether you are going to win. I even told our noisy friend, avatarcora, that I was like a gamebler (combination of gamer and gambler) because I competed 10 times yesterday. 10 tokens is equivalent to a total of Php150. Out of the 10 games, my total prize was Php176 because I was a little lucky in some of the games that I played as I got 1st prize. I was up by Php26 and let us not forget my daily prize of Php80 because I ranked 214 yesterday. Overall I got Php106 yesterday. Are you still following me? Why do I feel that my explanation is not that clear? LOL. Ok, here is a screenshot of my winnings yesterday and the prizes per game so that you will be able to understand it better.
Everyday they change the daily games for compete except for BIGAT10 or BATTLE10 which is the featured game for the week wherein the 1st prize is for Php50.
In order to be included in the top rank, you need to gather a lot of tickets. Tickets are achieved by playing any game whether it is FREE play or in COMPETE. You can also increase your tickets or even level up your experience in accomplishing some daily quests. You can even gain FREE tokens from quest.
You will receive a text if you have won as soon as the match is over. In Battle10 or Bigat10, 10 players are needed before they finalized the winners abd 5 players for regular compete game.
My favorite games to play are Element Blocks, Crazy Pizza, Onet Connect, Bubble Woods, 2048 Rush, MWords, Summer Vacation, Spore Hunter and Square Stacker. I knew about these games ever since I discovered it on Lyka and I am just glad that GCash has the same games as they do. MWords can only be played for FREE once a day. It is where I have received a total of 20 tickets for having a score of 25 and above. The rest of the games will give you a maximum of 15 tickets depending on your score.
I do not know if they still reward players weekly because it is not updated. Last posted weekly rankings was from April 25-May 1 both on GCash and Lyka. In Lyka app, I was able to receive 130 Lyka GEMS for that said week. I guess they have stopped giving weekly prizes because it is the same with Lyka. They even lowered the prizes on every game on Lyka. Probably because a lot of people are now playing on Lyka hence the decrease on rewards. I just hope that it will not be the case on GCash.
Again let me just remind you that competing on mgames is already like gambling. You do not know whether you are going to win the prize or not. For today I had played 17 compete games. I tried my luck with 2048 Rush since it was one of my favorite games just like with Onet Connect yesterday. Just like what Ice Cube said, "you win some, you lose some". I loss but only a minimal amount of Php7 however I am counting on the daily prize. I was right that I should have stopped after my last win but I still played 3 more games and that is the reason I got a negative. See? It really is like gambling. I have not tried playing in casinos but my uncle said that it was really addicting. You'll want to keep on playing because you have this feeling that you are going to win after every defeat but you will also want to continue playing after you have won. It is just up to you when you want to stop. I am not sure if I am going to play tomorrow because I am not confident with the games in compete.
The tickets you have earned can be used to purchase some backgrounds for mgames. I saw one user who had purchased a bacground. I purchased 1 backgroubd on Lyka app and I did not see it on my profile and I think only people who looks at your profile can see the background. As far as I know, the profile on mgames will only show your favorite games, badges, what level you are, people you follow, people who followed you and the backgrounds you have purchased. Quite not sure as I really did not pay attention when I looked at someone's profile. On Lyka app, there is a link wherein you can visit their Lyka account.
Other than Pichi28, who here has tried playing mgames on GCash? For beginners, I suggest you practice playing the games using energy before you compete. Then if you already confident enough to take risks, go for compete. Rememeber to only compete in what you can afford to lose. Am I allowed to also use that? LOL. I guess so because you are also betting your money for something that you do not know if you are going to win or not. Play. Earn. Enjoy.
