What is insecurity - Insecurity, in a broad sense, is a lack of confidence in a person's abilities or a lack of self-esteem.

A confused feeling of having little confidence in one's ability to achieve something. A consistent, persistent sense that one is not good enough in some way (in terms of ability, personality, relationship with others, etc.)

Insecurity can also be described as the perception that others may negatively judge whether the person is good enough to succeed at something.

Insecurity - what a state of mind, it is feeling of self doubt about one's own worth or abilities. Negative thoughts and feelings that affect your confidence and make you willing to do almost anything to prove yourself.

Insecure people very often do not evaluate the person on its merits, but the clothes he is wearing, his social status, his physical properties and other evidence externally. If a person is not well dressed or does not speak with a pronounced English, he is judged as a fool or a geek.

It may seem funny, but it is an unfortunate fact that many people behave in this way. We can see why some people behave in such a socially unacceptable manner or even see them as charming and attractive. They simply cannot imagine that someone does not like them for any other reason besides what they see. Insecure people are often unable to believe in their own beauty and value. They need reassurance and external evidences.

I know that a lot of girls feel insecure but could never really get myself to go through with this one simple thing. I started to feel insecure and wanted to use a breast enhancement cream so that I could look better but I never went through with it.

Why do girls mostly feel insecure?

It's because of magazines, Instagram, and the media in general, don't show most women as they are. This means there are lots of fake life the social media's platforms.

They are virtually airbrushed and edited, to show them as the "ideal" woman.

They are not made to look like us... Just like those before us were not realistic depictions of the human form.

But what can we do about it? Well we can't stop the media from making us feel insecure about ourselves.

What we can do is make sure that we are not too vulnerable to that media. Don't fall for it's propaganda.

Don't think that you will never be as pretty or as thin as the girl in the ad or on the screen.

Because you will.

You just won't look like her, you'll look like you! And that's what makes you beautiful, so don't forget it!
