Dismay February 12, 2022 Hello readcash community. I have been inactive for three days for I was a bit busy. I couldn't read and leave comments to your articles for I was exhausted. Last month, my partner's mother told us, my partner and I, that DESO ( DepEd Supervising Official) was hiring for a technical support staff for the incoming election here in our country (Philippines). At first, we decided that my partner will be the one to apply since the job is related to his course. My partner is an IT graduate so it will be easy for him. But my partner's cousin who works in the municipal said that my partner is not qualified for the said job for he has an aunt who run as councilor in our town. It is indeed indicated in the job details that the applicant should not related to any candidate within 4th civil degree of consanguinity or affinity. My partner's aunt is a direct sister of his father, so he is really not qualified. Here are the qualifications by the way.
So, I decided to apply instead since I am qualified. I chatted my friend and informed her about the job. The next morning, it was the last day in submitting the requirements, we submitted ours with hopes that we can get the job. But when I passed my requirements, the election officer interviewed me right after. After she read my daughter's name, she said that I am not qualified for the job because of my daughter's surname. I reasoned out that my partner and I were not married yet. She told me that she will just call me for the examination if I'm lucky. So, I did not set my hopes high cause I don't want to get disappointed again. Five days after, I received a message from COMELEC (Commission on Election) staff informing me the date of the examination. My friend and I successfully advanced on the second part which is the examination. We were both worried since we only have a basic knowledge when it comes to computer. Luckily, the examination was so simple because it was all about the fundamental knowledge of computer and an essay about the importance of computer in our daily lives. I was able to answer the exam and I was confident that me and my friend will pass. Almost two weeks later, my friend chatted me that the COMELEC informed her that she wasn't considered or wasn't chosen as one the technical support staff. On that day, I waited for the COMELEC to also inform me but I received nothing. Three days later, I received a message from them informing me that I was chosen for the job. Of course was happy about the news. It is a great opportunity for me and salary also is good and can help us for my daughter's need. They gave me the necessary requirements and one of the requirements is the TIN (Tax Identification Number) which i don't have yet. I told them that I haven't secured a TIN yet and they gave me three days to get one. The next day, I didn't had the chance to go to the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) for it was the day of the release of the typhoon Odette assistance from the government. No one will look after for my daughter. So, I decided to go to the next day instead. The next day, I woke up early because I have to travel for two hours to for me to arrive at BIR. I need to be early to avoid long queue. I arrived at the BIR 9 in the morning. When I got the priority number, I was already at 49. I waited patiently for me to be called. I was already hungry for I didn't eat breakfast. Trivia about me: I don't eat everytime I travel because I puke especially if the vehicle is air-conditioned. Even if I take bonamine, I am still nauseous when traveling. I was called 11 in the morning. When I was at the counter, I gave my form and birth certificate and told her the purpose why I'm getting a TIN. But the teller told me that they need a certification that comes from the COMELEC. They won't issue me a TIN if I can't have a certification. I immediately headed home without taking lunch in hoping that I could arrive at our municipal where the COMELEC office situated because they will be closed at 3 PM. I arrived home almost two in the afternoon. I immediately eat a little because I was already famished and my stomach was starting to ache. After I ate, I hurriedly went to the COMELEC office and asked what I needed. Thank God they gave me a certification. The next day, I woke up earlier for I was hoping to arrive at BIR early. But when I was at the terminal, I was the only passenger yet and the driver needs to wait for another passenger before we go. So, I waited almost an hour before we departed. Again, I arrived at BIR 9 in the morning. I was already dizzy when I arrived because I puke many times in the van. Still, I pulled myself up because I wanted this thing to be done early. But when I got the priority number, I was already at number 60. While waiting,I ate biscuit to feed my ached and hungry stomach. I was called already past two in the afternoon. I was praying that everything will be good. I submitted all the needed documents that they told me the other day. After few minutes, the teller told me that she needs a photocopy of my birth certificate. Again, I hurriedly looked for a store that has a photocopy machine. I went back on the teller and submit my photocopy. After I submitted the photocopy that she requested, she said that she can't issue me a TIN because I am from different district. She told me that I should go to Palo Leyte. I was so angry of what she said. If that's the case, she should have told me the first day I went in their agency. I'm pretty sure that she read my address on the form because I submitted it to her. I have wasted so much time, effort and money. I was so disappointed and my heart was full of dismay. That was the deadline of passing the requirements and if I can't pass my TIN, they will replace me. I went home with shrugged shoulders. And now, I will no longer render a service on election day and the great opportunity just slipped away. If you reach this far, thank you for patiently reading my rants. See you on my next blog. I thank all my generous sponsors for still supporting me. **Lead image is edited using Canva app.**

Di ba pedeng follow up na lang.

Idk if pwede sya

I can feel your frustration straight from my monitor dear. I sometimes hate those people working in the government (not all), they do act like their customer's time aren't precious. uuurgh! I hope your doing okay now, there will be more opportunities in the future, don't be dismayed for too long.
That is true friend. There are some government employees who looks very high in their selves. I am okay now friend. Maybe that job was really not for me.
I'm sure you'll get another chance at something better in the future.
Better things are coming for you maamsh! Kahimos sa teller. Hmmmm
Lagi mamsh uy. Super himus jud.
