What Alcohol Made Me Do

Source There are many reasons why people drink alcohol. Some of them have heavy problems that they want to forget just for a little time, others drink to celebrate while others being just influenced by other people. **But how far can you control yourself from being drunk?** I started drinking alcohol when I was fourth year high school. As a teenager, I'm curious in everything. I always heard my classmates being drunk and they looked so happy when sharing it to my classmates. So, I decided to try it too. I can still remember the first kind of alcohol I tasted. They called it Choco Bomb. It is a combination of Tanduay Rhum, water, milo, coffee, condense milk and ice. At first try, I didn't like it but later on, I found myself drinking more. That's the beginning of my alcohol journey. ***Okay, enough of the introductions. Let's dive on things what alcohol can made me.*** _____________________________ Spokening Dollars ( English Speaking ) Spokening dollars means I became fluent in English language. Though not accurate but I can speak English fluently if the spirit of alcohol take control of my body. There was one time when I was drunk, though not to the point that I can't be able to distinguish my way, or shall I say just tipsy, I still managed to go to school. That was our Physics subject. My teacher was so amazed because I answered her question in straight English.:-D I Became Talkative I'm a silent person. I even received Most Behave awards during my elementary and high school days. But when I met alcohol, I became a garrulous person. I can talk without stopping. I became a different person. Everything that comes to my mind, I will let it out. There was one time that we had a get together with my high school batch mates. Of course, alcohol is always present in every occasions. My classmate, bought a hard liquor. That was my first time drinking that alcohol.Then I was already tipsy at that moment. I have a classmate that I didn't like even before. Out of drunkenness, I really told her that I don't like her in front of my other classmates. My classmates was so shocked. They didn't imagine that I am capable of saying those words. Morning after, I sent an apology message to her. Good thing she accepted my apology. ( I'm a silent person. I even received Most Behave awards during my elementary and high school days. Morning after, I sent an apology message to her. Good thing she accepted my apology. ( *Inom pa more* 😅 ) I Became A Cry Baby Some people when they get drunk, they became brave. But me, I became very weak. But not like other people that will cry in front of their drinking buddies. Me, most of the time, I only cry when nobody is watching. But there was this one experience that I considered as the most unforgettable for me. Again, I was with my high school classmates. They really were my favorite drinking buddies. That time, I was broken hearted. My boyfriend did not fulfilled his promise to come home. I was so hurt because I did everything for me to come home but he didn't. At first my classmates didn't notice that I was broken hearted. I decided not to tell them because I did not want to ruin our happiness. I always smile and laughed with them. But when the alcohol hit me, I became weak. That was the first time that I was so drunk. My ex ( which was my first boyfriend ) saw me crying. He asked me why I was crying but I didn't answer him. He continued asking, until he brought me to the place where we can talk, just beside the cottage we rented. We sat down on a log, then he asked me again. Then, I burst into tears telling him my problem. He just listened to me then he hugged me. Then he told me that if he was still my boyfriend, he wouldn't let me felt that way. But I answered him, "Huh? Nagkauyab diay ta? ( Huh? Was there an us before? ) I can still remember his face that time. I know he was hurt by my answer. I was so mean. I asked an apology the next day but he didn't respond my message. _____________________________ CLOSING NOTE Drinking alcohol is not bad if you take it moderately. We should control ourselves in taking alcohol because it has a bad effect in our body. If you have low alcohol tolerance in your body, take a grip before you made an embarrassment on yourself. Now, I stopped drinking hard liquor. I started not drinking when I got pregnant. I want to become a good role model of my daughter.
