(This Article Contains My Perspective To Work, Not To Be Imposed On Anyone).
We don't need to lie to ourselves anymore, telling people to go for passion when they aren't able to eat first or settle a lot of basic needs. Passion too requires finance to scale more. Lack of proper funding can make that passion lose its burning fire. For instance, haven't you listened to many amazing songs from people who aren't popular, and listened to some bad songs from those who are popular. But the popular ones enjoying the benefits of the music are happy, while those who can't fund their music can sto remain in the shadow, likely not going to heard by people across border. Music is one of the major influencers to a happy life.
There are passions that pay as soon as one would start off, some passions are just so lucky to some others that they get good funds from it from a very early stage, many however have to battle with patients and believing that one day would change everything. Imagine someone who loves to join the marines but can't afford to pay for the few things needed for him to start with, many have forfeited that opportunity because of lack of funds and capable help from others. Of course i don't mean to say its wrong to follow your passion before earning a living at least, just saying its safer and more stress free.
Most of the wealthiest people don't know anything about what they are into, they are still slightly ignorant of the every aspect of their line of work. But they knew smarter to create what can earn a sustainable income from. Earn first, with this you can be more relaxed knowing fully well that at least there's something waiting for you at home, a food and drink, so after a crazy day, you can fall back to a good home rest. But if you don't earn at least then being hungry or angry, you having a bad day wouldn't be dealt with nicely. Its easier to give up on dreams when you think it's not working out as planned.
Years has been put into learning, added to our formal education, our early lives has been centered around learning and learning, then we come out only to come learn again what it is we need to do to get by everyday. Luckily few would work immediately after school, using what school taught, but many others wouldn't and they have to learn a skill or skills again. So basically we learn so we are prepared to earn. For those who are without a open stream of income, and seek to follow with passion first, they might not be finding it easy, the dreams are now warring against reality. But with proper funding to cater to a good extent one could still work with lighter labour.
I particularly feel when we earn first, we are able to shift aside the rush to make it big quickly. Because the bills are pilling up and things needs to be sorted out, there would be a sense of urgency to see that the passion yield forth result as quickly as possible. Firstly this is bad for business, and very bad for a passion we seek to do long term. Such yearning would make us skip some needed process as we want the success to come real quick. Same way it takes time for seed to grow and gets its root solid grounded in the soil, same way we are to grow our different start up, rushing the process is bad for its survival, more reason why we need to remove any reason to rush it, since its our passion.
The most reason why so many passion have been diverted today is because it wasn't bringing for the fruits they envisioned, it wasn't supposed to be this stressful, so they stopped or rather ran away to another. Basically its not easy to push on without a source for personal care, maybe with support from others our quest to grow our passion would be easier. Supports like friends, family, colleagues and even strangers more financially than any other. In the issue of sustainance, money is a leading factor, money helps us feel the love and care, cause without money the mind is already diverted.
Good enough there is provision set down for you already, then going to earn first before pushing your passion wouldn't be applicable cause luckily you have your needs met and bills paid already, plus all that which eats up our money slowly would be taken care of. So this applies basically to those who aren't so lucky to be born into wealth or have a source to cater for their needs, such people, have got to earn first, earn to eat, eat to have a shelter and cloth, earn to stay healthy, earn to have basic social amenities, earn to take care of parents and offspring, in short earning to settle all those things that drives us crazy but we need to pay for.
Stay on top of the game with proper planning, there is a right time to set out, there is a right time to prepare for the right time, use the time judiciously by getting to earn and save up for a smooth run, when you finally say its time to go for this, you'll have little to bother about, little to make one feel frustrated, like I need it to bring more urgently. Rather we carefully see it grow, patiently supervise it's growth and not rush it.
