Good morning! Thank God it's Friday. It's the first day of the Return to Work Order from our government. No more work from home . I had a sound sleep last night and was awakened just before 5am. Thank you Lord for the wake up call. I immediately cooked rice because bunso brought some red rice for her lunch. She also requested to bring tuna sandwich. She can buy viand at her work. It's siesta time but I was so engrossed watching a Netflix series recommended by my daughter, Business Proposal. I started watching it last night and I enjoyed it. It's really good and fun series. Saturday is my laundry day. Thanks God ,I am almost done . I had to wash all 4 big light colored towels. I had to pre wash it manually because there were diificult to remove stains. This is the last batch and I can eat lunch after hanging them to dry. I know many are busy too especially that Saturday is usually our time to do more laundry. After an early morning rain, Mr Sun finally showed up. Despite some gray clouds hovering around Mr. Sun, it shined brightly full of energy. I went out of my room a few minutes ago to cook rice. Look at our newly adopted cat named "Red". It used to live in the house of bunso's partner. Since nobody could take care anymore of Red in that house, it was brought here. Red is an offspring of our house cat Pepper. Pepper is a well trained cat while Red needs more training. Whenever Red gets hungry, it's so noisy and keeps on following us. I am done cooking food for dinner. I made chicken teriyaki. Good I still have chicken thighs in the freezer which I defrosted earlier. Are you preparing your dinner now? It's almost lunch time. Finally I am done cooking. I have beef caldereta with hungarian sausage. It's been a while that I have not made this dish. My eldest daughter does not like caldereta. Since she is at work today, I decided to have this for lunch. I cut the beef into smaller cubes so that it will soften faster. I added carrots , potatoes and bell peppers. It's a bright "Maundy Thursday. The sun is brightly shining. I was cooking breakfast when suddenly I thought of cooking "binignit" or ginataan. Nakabili po ako kahapon ng mga sahog like banana saba, camote, ube, coconut milk, sticky rice and landang. Good Friday My family went out today for Via Crucis and Visita Iglesia. We chose seven churches and prayed two Stations of the Cross at each church. Dinner My daughters were craving spaghetti for dinner. Luckily, I defrosted ground meat for dinner. When they told me that they wanted spaghetti, I checked on our pasta available in stock. Dinner Good evening. This was my dinner today. This is garlic butter shrimp. I added some chili flakes and oyster sauce to enhance its flavor. I love the resulting sauce after sautéing the shrimp. Magandang umaga sa inyo mga ka noise. Natapos ko na ang aking laundry at the same time naglaga po ako ng sliced pork pata para may sabaw po kami. It's cooking time once again. I am preparing for dinner tonight. My eldest daughter and I are eating together tonight. Her hubby has a meeting at 7pm, so we're left at home. I am cooking fried chicken thighs. I have allotted 2pieces for each of us. I also reheated our pork pata soup and 2 pieces left over fried chicken breast. These are good enough for us. Natapos ko rin ang laundry at nakaluto na ng ulam para sa tanghalian. Medyo cloudy ngayon at may hangin. Sana matuyo lahat ng sinampay ko na mga damit. Dalawang salang sa washing machine kaya madami rin ang nilabhan ko. Pahinga muna sandali at ng makakain nacrin ng lunch. Kumakain nacrin po ba kayo ng tanghalian? Nag gisa lng po ako ng pork giniling at sayote. May mga ulam ba tira last night , iinitin ko rin para maubos lahat. Sge po kain muna tayo at 12 noon na po.

Kasuy from Coron Last night dumating si bunso at kanyang partner galing bakasyon from Coron, Palawan. Malapit na ako matulog pagdating nila. Nag kiss good night na lng si bunso kasi naka off na mga lights ko sa room. During lunch time, kwentohan muna kami about their vacation at nag enjoy talaga sila sa bakasyon. Snacks for this afternoon. My eldest daughter arrived before 4pm from her work. She brought some snacks which is roti. It came with some dipping sauce. I tasted a little because I already ate 2 slices of bread earlier. It tasted garlicky and good. There's still some extra roti which we can also eat later. I am now cooking chicken adobo for dinner. Are you also preparing your dinner now? Dinner will be served past 7pm yet so I still have a lot of time. #FoodTrip

Thanks God it's Friday. It's such a joy to be awake and see this beautiful creation. Thank you Lord for waking me up and experiencing this beautiful day. Breakfast Katatapos lng po kumain ng agahan. Hinahanda ko sana ang noodles na lutuin pero nakita ko ang hotdog sa refrigerator kaya nilagay ko sa toaster para mainit siya. Nagluto na rin ako ng fried egg at nag timpla ng coffee with milk. Hindi ko na naluto ang noodle soup. Maybe later na ito lutuin. Taho Dumaan po ang nagtitinda ng taho at timing na nasa labas ako naka upo at nagpapahangin. Mabuti narining niya ako ng tinawag ko siya "Taho". Pinahintay ko po siya sandali para kumuha ako ng 4 na mugs at pera. Ito po yung taho na nabili ko. Tig iisang mug po kami dito na naiwan sa bahay. Naubos ko na share ko. Matagal na rin na hindi ako kumain ng taho. It's like a "comfort" food for me kasi matamis po siya. Kumakain din po ba kayo ng taho? You should try it too.…

Dolomite Beach at Manila Bay I recently saw a video posted by AlvinTV showing how Manila Bay looks at the present. It's an amazing transformation from the old Manila Bay which was full of trash and very polluted. The beach is now clean and there were some crabs seen in the video.
