Post Holiday Happenings
Hi! I just want to tell you what happened today and what is going to happen to me in the coming days.
Today was really bad bed weather. It has been raining since lunchtime up until now. The rain cost me my time reviewing for the exam and I just slept until 2 pm. I was last night using my phone, just the usual thing that I do, scrolling through my social media accounts.
What was planned today was the exam this evening and to accompany my brother to his dental appointment. He got his tooth restored and as for me, I got mine cleaned and restored. The clinic that we visited was owned by our distant Aunt. She runs it and also is the attending dentist. Since my brother's appointment was just for tooth restoration, he got done fast. It only took less than 20 minutes.
I didn't think that today was the day that I will be scheduling my dental appointment. This clinic wasn't even my first choice of going in but since I was already accompanying my brother, I decided to book an appointment for my dental needs. I was at the table for almost 40 minutes. It felt like I was being operated on.
At first, the Dentist did the cleaning. And after that, she proceeded with the tooth restoration. I thought that my tooth was the problem but it wasn't. The old restoration needed to be replaced with the new fillings since it was already turning to a grayish color making it look like it's decaying. Drill over here, drill over there. Suction here, wipe over there. Oh, God! It was so tiring. My jaw was already starting to feel numbed since I opened my mouth for too long.
There was even a time where the dental assistant was forgetting to suction the saliva out of me. I was already drowning in my saliva. At that time, I was already shouting at her in my head to suction. Hahahaha. That was an awful experience for me. Plus when you're on the dental table and the dentist and the dentist assistant is working on you, it's too awkward and I don't know where to look at it. Also, I had an anxiety attack earlier. My mouth was shaking when they started to work on me. Feels like the time when I got my eyeglasses. I felt too anxious.
I was already expecting that I am going to pay a high price because of the dental procedures that I availed myself. I paid 800 pesos for the cleaning and 1200 for the tooth restoration. Those were already discounted since she told us that we're relatives. Up until now, I can still taste the fillings that they put into my tooth. I can still smell the ground tooth. Ugh! I went home kind of happy but ran out of cash. I tried to withdraw some cash from the ATM near the clinic but it was closed. I am left now with just $2 in my wallet.
We arrived home at 5 o'clock. I took a rest and talked to my mom's sibling (my aunt) about how broke I am after going to the clinic. Lucky me because the exam got delayed for an hour and rescheduled for 8 pm instead of 7. I didn't review for the exam but fortunately, I got 56 out of 75.
My exam results felt like Christmas. It was raining greens and red. Hahahaha. Fortunately, the greens were more than the color red. *Manifesting that the price of BCH pumps even higher.*
I went straight to the kitchen to was dinner. I was excited about the ham but they didn't cook it. My Grandmother told me that Dad is going to cook it for New Year's Eve and made something from it. Hays. I was too disappointed to even expect that the viand for dinner is ham.
I'm just on my sweater and sweat pants right now since it's too cold and the rain hasn't stopped yet. Anyways, it's all for now. Bye-bye.
