Holiday Gift Guides
Do you already have gifts for your loved ones? If you still don't have one, I'm here. I can be their gift for this holiday. Kidding! I know this is already a late article for a gift guide but I know that some of you will have a last-minute run to the mall to grab some gifts.
Christmas day is one important day in the year as it is the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. Aside from that, we receive special gifts from our parents, uncles and aunts, godfather and godmothers, etc. Let's be real, this is the time where we expect that we are going to receive something.
Anyways, without further ado, let's get started and tackle the holiday gift guides.
Give them what they want. We all have something in our minds that we want as a gift or something to purchase for ourselves. We kept talking about it and searching for the cheapest price on the internet that there will be. For me, they will appreciate it if you give them what they want since it will save them money and think that you remembered that they want it for themselves is already a great thing.
Think of something that they can use. Promise, they will love you when you give them something that you think they can use. One great example is by giving a student a set of highlighters. They can surely use it when studying for quizzes and exams.
Gift Certificates. If you don't have something in mind what to give your loved ones, giving them Gift Certificates is the best option that there is especially when they are young adults. For example, a gift certificate from salon and spa, ZALORA, SM Department Store, etc. It's less hassle to think of gifts yet you made them happy by giving them something that they can enjoy and use. But you should also consider the person that you are giving this to, most importantly kids. They won't enjoy it as much as adults will do since they don't know how to use it and what is most in their minds are toys.
Ang Pao/ Red Envelope. These are given with money inside. Usually, we get Ang Pao from our godfather and godmother as their "pamasko" to us. There may be a lot of reasons why they can't buy gifts it can be the holiday rush, work, and other personal stuff. Giving money as a gift is not a bad thing. The money that you give them can help contribute to their money to buy the things that they want.
Gift baskets. There are different kinds of gift baskets. Some contain Fruits, Noche Buena packages, etc. If you are planning to give your Elderly friends, your lover's parents, and many more, then this is the perfect gift for them. I know for a fact that they will appreciate this gesture. The fact that you remembered them is already something to be grateful for.
Give their Children or pets something for Christmas. Some people don't mind receiving something for Christmas for themselves. They are most happy when their furbabies or chikitings receive something instead of them. It makes them already happy and contented.
Final thoughts...
Gifts are something that is an unmeasurable amount that you can give to someone. It will all depend on the person who is going to receive it if the gift will be appreciated or not. Most importantly, you don't have to be sad if you don't have something for your loved ones. What matters is that you greeted them with a Merry Christmas with a smile on your face.
