Juvenile Cases: Uplifting children with conflict to the law

Who is a child in conflict with the law? He or she is a person below 18 years of age who is alleged as, accused of, or adjudged as having committed an offense under Philippine Laws. According to UNICEF, most children in conflict with the law have committed petty crimes or such minor offences as vagrancy, truancy, begging or alcohol use. Some of these are known as ‘status offences’ and are not considered criminal when committed by adults. In addition, some children who engage in criminal behavior have been used or coerced by adults.

Minors encounter legal concerns because some have been abused by their parents or have been subjected to harsh punishment by law enforcement. Children who have witnessed violence are more likely to have damaged relationships with adults, be unable to communicate with their companions, and become "bullies" in order to gain attention; they may also connect their situation with a criminal environment. The environment can encourage a toddler or adolescent to commit a crime.

What can be the best approach for this kind of conflicts?

Those children who are in violation of the law must be informed about their rights. We feel that these children are also victims, and that they require a high level of care in order to help them cope with the trauma they are experiencing, which may include psychiatric therapy. In the moment, listening and empathizing are effective techniques. Parents are not required to handle every issue. We shouldn't, in fact. The best support is providing a safe place to talk about it and express feelings.

Giving children the opportunity to develop positive behaviors is the first step in developing programs to avoid teenage crime and violence. Adolescents and their families are included in comprehensive initiatives that provide opportunities for education, mentoring, problem-solving skills, and safety, and are community-based activities.

Restoring the rights of children who have committed serious crimes by offering them a support program, sometimes known as a diversion program, that allows them to address the issues for which they have been held accountable.

Continue to encourage them by offering and assuring them that they will recover from their trauma by facilitating various programs for them.

Our advocacy effort aims to establish a healthy relationship to all children who have undergone trauma or have committed serious offenses. We also wanted to create an environment where any children who had run afoul of the law could come and talk about their problems so that we, the people behind this initiative, and those who would support this campaign, could help them deal with their problems physically, spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically.

In reality, this effort benefits everyone, not simply the campaign's participants. Since our advocacy strives to create an effective and harmonious atmosphere for children who have legal concerns, we will be able to observe these children grow up to be well-mannered and now improve their life pleasantly over the next 3-5 years. As a result, we can anticipate less legal issues concerning children. When it comes to investing in these kinds of programs, money is always involved, the government has the resources and clout to bring about these changes by allocating funds and establishing an organization to assist these children in becoming better versions of themselves. Giving them chances to change and counseling to help them figure out what's causing their troubles. As a result, the government can now take action in this matter in the hopes of eventually ending it.

We're all affected by this project now that we know there are kids who have been struggling and have ended up committing crimes, and they're living with it as if it's normal. And as we open our eyes to the reality, it is critical that we take action and make changes to help these children be saved and have a better future.

Who are the messengers on this proposal that can have a high influence to the public?

In this advocacy, the persons we, the advocates, have chosen to influence the public are those volunteered professionals who will assist these youngsters who have caused harm to another human to have a new and better life in the future. We, the advocates, believe that these specialists were intended to help these children and that they will be able to handle their actions exceptionally well because how else would other people be able to help them if these experts are unable to? These experts are vital to the campaign since they are the ones who can give the youngsters the necessary things they need. And, because our goals are to help juvenile offenders realize the impact of their actions on victims, take responsibility for their actions, and support their rehabilitation, we are confident that the persons chosen for this campaign will assist us in bringing about the needed change.

Good Day! My thesis proposal includes the article above. Because this is simply just a project, please be aware that I will not be soliciting donations or conducting a fundraising campaign for this matter.

Again, this essay is purely a thesis proposal, and the main goal here is to raise public awareness of juvenile cases.

Thank you for stopping by my article for today! If you still haven't read my previous articles, here are these:

Socializing positive things to children is very important because it will create something that will make him understand the good and bad things to do.
