How often do you think about honesty?

I am sure most of you know what honesty means in human life. I have thought about honesty quite often. Whenever I face a setback due to my strict adherence to ethics and integrity, I think about the word honesty.

Honesty is a single word that can transform you from bad to good in the blink of an eye. Compromising honesty makes the reverse without any fail.

Honesty is such a powerful word in human life, encompassing joys and woes everywhere of it. Evil attractions continuously trigger your mind to become dishonest and gain more by doing less work or no work at all.

Honesty is a single word that rules the entire world

Honesty is such a powerful word in human life. Embracing an honest life is not so easy. Once adopt a policy of honesty, a person can keep themself immune from all evil forces.

• Being honest means putting our best efforts into relinquishing every responsibility of our lives. Be it a responsibility in a family, society, or nation, and the aim should be to execute all works with our sincerest efforts and maximum ability.

Honesty is the best policy and it can change the world from worse to the better.

• The world can be (and could be) much better if the leaders ruling the nations were a little bit more honest. If the global citizens were honest, there would be no need for police forces to catch and control the criminals.

• In fact, there would be no criminal and unethical activity in the absence of dishonesty. We now can't imagine a human society without crimes.

But, honesty is a policy that could have made the situation completely different - a happy and peaceful society full of ethics and integrity.

Innumerable businesses will be bankrupt if honesty prevails

In this networked world of computers and the Internet, we talk about the need for foolproof cybersecurity and data privacy.

If the absence of dishonesty among the cyber users, there would be no cyber crimes and data hacks/stealing! Can you imagine accessing the Internet without the fear of data threats?

Many businesses in this world would be useless if people were honest! We may think about a list of businesses and services those would be needless without dishonesty.

• Police and armed forces: If the people are honest, there will be no crime, and the police forces will not be needed at all.

• Private security services: No private securities will be required if there are no evil people creating trouble.

• Detective agencies: In the absence of any crimes, people will no longer need the services of any detective agencies.

• Judicial services: When there are no crimes and criminals, there will be no requirement to take anybody to court for justice. What will be the need to keep the judiciary services?

• Regulatory agencies on the financial, election, and security frauds: Financial, election, and security frauds are controlled by respective regulatory agencies, which will be dysfunctional in the absence of any fraudulent activities.

• Drug regulatory and control agencies: There will be only clinically tested drugs and medicines in the market with honesty in the people's businesses. Hence, there will be no need to keep drug regulatory agencies.

• Plagiarism checker software: Writers will be honest to publish only their own written pieces. So, plagiarism-checking software will not be required.

And so many other services will be dysfunctional and obsolete without dishonesty in the people and organizations.

If the world were reasonably honest, what wouldn't have happened in the recent past

The recent past showed us many dishonest sequences of events, which did harm the lives of the global citizens in a big way. May we try to recollect what we had faced during the last two-plus years?

• The imposed COVID-19 pandemic: The WHO announced the pandemic based on only one single diagnostic test in Wuhan. The new COVID-19 virus has not yet been isolated and purified in the lab. The mainstream news media fearmongered the global citizens with artists' hand/computer-rendered color images of the supposed to be COVID-19 virus!

• Ambiguous RT-PCR testing as the diagnostic tool for COVID-19: Globally recognized virologists, and medical doctors questioned the RT-PCR testing technique, as it produces mixed-up positive results for multiple viruses, including common cold, cough, fever, influenza, whooping cough, and the new COVID-19 virus.

• The enforced lockdowns: The enforced lockdowns completely paralyzed the manufacturing and supply chain network, which put billions of global citizens jobless and unemployed.

• The forceful pushing of the experimental jabs: The new supposed to be a vaccine for the new partially known COVID-9 virus was forcefully pushed to the global citizens despite the experimental jab had not completed formal clinical trials.

• Fraudulent elections with postal ballot: The 2020 US Presidential Election was allegedly executed with a mass postal ballot system of voting without verification of the signature and authenticity. Some other parts of the globe also experienced general elections during the last two-plus years without ample security and safety for the voters.

• Raising the prices of goods people use daily: The daily utility goods' costs have risen multiple times without any control from the respective governments.

• Selling computer devices for almost double the normal price: The prices of computer processors and accessories have gone up steadily. People paid almost double the standard costs.

If the global leaders and business owners were reasonably honest, the situation would have been much better than we have been experiencing now!

Closing thoughts

We frequently say, "Honesty is the best policy," but how often do we apply it in our daily lives?

• I wonder what would this complex world look like if all (or most) global citizens were truly honest?

• In my humble opinion, the world has become worse because its dwellers deliberately forgot to apply honesty in their day-to-day work.

Honesty is a single word that can change the world from worse to the better.

• The world could be much better if the global leaders were a little bit more honest.

• If the global citizens were honest, there would be no need for police and judiciary services to catch and control the criminals.

Many services and businesses will be bankrupt if honesty prevails in the world.

• The services of the armed forces, security agencies, judiciary& legal services, cybersecurity, drug regulatory agencies, detective agencies, financial fraud detection agencies, etc., would be redundant without dishonesty.

The recent two-plus years of lockdowns due to the so-called pandemic would have been differently enacted if the global leaders were honest.

• If most global citizens can be made more honest, I am sure the whole world will be transformed into a new, better, and much-improved one.

I wonder, how many of you would join me in saying that honesty could have saved the planet earth from deteriorating further?
