Great ideas, invention and discovery all started by someone asking a question "why this is so" or "how can we change a particular system or way of doing it" or "how to make do things faster and better".

Breakthrough often happen by means of asking more great questions. For example; Isaac Newton discovered gravitational force when he was asking what makes the apple fruit fall down.

You can’t know what is possible or not possible until you start asking questions. All good ideas and actions start with asking great questions. And even when you come up with ideas the success of your actions and ideas are dependent on asking great questions.

Even though questions is one of the most powerful things we can do because it has the power to unlock opportunities and do great things for our future.

It can be uncomfortable and intimidating

But the reality is that asking questions can also be uncomfortable and intimidating; especially if we feel like we're inexperienced in a situation where we have to ask something.

This is so common among Students and I have experienced this first hand when I was in high school. Many students may feel shy to ask their teachers or lecturers question when they don't understand a particular topic. Some feel that their questions are silly or they might be looked down on by their follow students, or be jested at.

But in my opinion asking questions is the best way to learn. That why class toppers ask a lot of questions from teachers. Asking questions is even a way of knowing smart people.

Asking questions can mean the difference between success and failure. If you can ask a question, you can tap into the knowledge and experience of someone who has done it before.

Good and right questions

It is not just by asking any questions. It by asking good questions! Good questions lead to great answers. Great answers lead to actionable insights. Actionable insights lead to amazing results.

There is an enormous amount of knowledge on the internet. There is an enormous amount of knowledge within your network. But it up to you access these informations by probing and asking the right questions.

Don't feel shy

Whenever you are lost don't feel shy or intimidated to ask a question. For example when you are going to a new place and need guidance, asking a stranger can be the difference in helping you know how to navigate.

Another example is asking question in an online forum this can help in solving your problem quickly or at least getting closer to a solution.

In conclusion

Learning is a continuous process and we continue to learn everyday. Even if you are the best at your job, there is always something new to learn. Always!

This is why I admire teachers and professors. They have a lot of information and experience behind them, but they also know that there is always something new to discover and they do this through asking questions.

Always remember that questions opens doors and helps us grow. I would recommend spending more time asking questions. Through questions, we can improve ourselves, grow our careers and achieve our dreams.

If you want to be a better leader, entrepreneur, and human being, you need to seek knowledge and this can be done by asking questions where it is necessary.
