Who's The Culprit In Corruption

Most of the time we see and call out the government for corruption. While they are involved in it but we neglect the small players in the corruption, we rarely mention them or even try to expose them. The corruption starts from the people and then reaches to big figures.

Today's Incident

Today I went to RTO Regional Transport Office to guide a friend to make a driving license. Got the annoying vibe of corruption again which I have faced a lot of times in these government offices. Luckily for some reason, we dodged the bullet and everything went smoothly. But it wasn't like that with other people in the line.

Rush Hour In Government Offices

You will agree with me in this that for even a small work we have to climb multiple floors and knock on multiple doors just to get the small job done in government offices. If you have a better service where you don't have to run much trust me you have a better governing system. In every door, in many government offices, you have to pay a bribe to get your job done. Without that the government employee will ignore or trash talk you. The attitude of an employee is worst as if one would feel like punching them, lol.

The government is corrupt but what about these common people who are just normal workers, they take bribes to halt the normal processes, bring favoritism as whoever pays first gets their job done first, bad behavior, etc. The real problem is the people they create a more corrupt environment than the big figures. If they had been honest and supportive, normal people wouldn't have to suffer that much to avail the government services.

Freebie In Government Job

Most people want a government job but haven't seen a single good person with a government job who isn't egoistic. It is like the bug of ego comes when people get that job, lol. The system of corruption is controlled by the big figures but these small participants are the worst, they are like bad bacteria eating the world and people from the inside.

The Irresponsible Common Mass

Another thing I noticed in the government office was that the infrastructure was superb from the outside but its inside was very bad. In every corner, the color of the wall was turned red due to the spitting of Tobacco and I must say this is done by normal people not only the employees. This shows the problem is in the people not always with the government. We don't respect the facilities given by the government sometimes. Not sharing the photos as it's gross.

Final Thoughts

The contribution of people is the real strength for the betterment of the country and its people. It has great power to eliminate the evils. I know even though you try to expose them most of them are backend by big figures but with social media anything can be achieved. Writing an article or recording a video with evidence can someday cost them a lot.

Just when you get a government job don't be Egoistic, be honest and your presence will slowly kill the bad bacterias of the system.

Corruption has become a routine matter in government affairs. There is corruption in all government jobs. When common people go to government employees to get services, Common people are victimized by public servants.

It takes two to tango. There will be no corrupt govenment officials if there are no corrupt people in the private sector.

On the other hand... some of us are "forced" to go with the flow.

It's like that in every asian countries. Their roads won't even last for a month and we will see holes in it. They take funds everytime for road development, use poor materials and keep money in their pockets. Every government does that.

Very well said, straight to the point, but can we judge them? What if we are in their position?? Do you think we do the same? Haha

I don't think so, I have ignored lots of money and human temptations similar to this.

In every corner or window you have to pay to get things done? Gross. Some big figures don't know what their constituents are doing and some know. Whichever work with all your heart and avoid corruption.

There must be a deeper problem than corruption and that I guess is the character and poverty behind.

We have the choice to be honest and be a good human and with big position I don't think many people require more goodness but instead of bringing good value to the world they do the opposite.

Some people also take advantage of their position just to get what they want and to claim themselves as superiors or else they are powerful

Ego never brings any value to the society. They are creating enemies by themselves people will think hundred times to help those corrupt people in need.

Sometimes we blame the government for unnecessary things. The people below are doing bad if not worse than the government who are up. The change should start from below with the little things we do.

Yes, that's what I mean to say. These people can easily stop corruption from the ground roots but they choose to do the opposite.

That was a fact. But we do some good officials also in government jobs, but limited to a handfull.

I know the good number always exists in every place, just want to meet them once probably that will give me a little hope and positivity for government job people. Even in my family the one's who got the jobs are very bad.

That's why you were able to write a good article on corruption. But this has become common every where. Only when we have a systematic and reliable governing body we can expect good from the government servants. A month ago when a female college student and her father went to the public transport department to get the concession renewed the father was beaten up by one of the official just because he questioned about some new inclusion of a certificate to revive the concession form. One of them shot this in his mobile and it went viral in our state channel. Right now these govt staffs aee suspended for their unruly behavior.

True a strict government can put these people in places and can even correct them. That's the current solution for these corrupted souls.

This reminds me of the system that exists in Venezuela, where going to any office of a public service is literally wasting time if you are not willing to pay more to move forward or get a paperwork.
