We don’t want to end up being burdened at the end of the day right? So do one task at a time!

We are about to end our school year for 2021-2022, so basically more paper works, more reports are waving! Every day we are doing reports after reports, paper works after paper works, and task after task, and it feels like a heavy burden that enables us to breathe.

So we always end up our day with stress and worries, and it feels like so heavy as we woke up in the morning. And because of this, it is so hard for us to finish a task at a time because our minds are loaded with what we need and what we should do first.

And therefore realize, that we should do it one task at a time!

Doing one task at a time means doing one activity at a time and the practice of dedicating oneself to a given task and trying to minimize interruptions until the task is done or completed in a period.  This is the ability to divide one’s focus among multiple tasks.

Focusing on one thing at a time means that you’ll get more done!

Single-tasking or doing a task one at a time is more likely to get you into a state of flow and gives you more focus through difficult work.

According to Christopher Westra: The quickest way to do many things is to do one thing at a time!

We can achieve almost everything in life if we focus on achieving one thing at a time. It results in higher quality results more quickly.

Here are some benefits of doing one task at a time:

• It conserves your energy

• It improves productivity

• It increases commitment

• It promotes self-discipline

• It strengthens us against distractions

• It improves our attention span

• It improves our communication

• It improves our relationship

• It gives us an advantage

And to wean yourself from multi-tasking, here are some steps that you can take towards doing single-tasking:

1. You need to get rid of distractions!

Avoid having multiple browser tabs open because it can pull your attention and may cause you to multi-task. Take away your phone from your side because it may distract you to multi-task and worst, waste your time browsing unnecessary things. It’s better to put it on NO DISTURB Mode to help you focus on doing your task first.

2. You need to start small and set a timer!

You need to find a schedule that works for you! First is to find your focus time on to single task and time to react to all the distractions that inevitably come up.

3. You need to take a meaningful break time between each single-task session!

The fact that single-tasking takes serious effort and energy. So to keep it its demands you need to take periodic breaks to replenish your stores.

Final Thoughts:

If we force to do multi-tasking it will kill our productivity, and makes us more stressed and less happy because we’re not able to finish a task even if we want to, because our mind is occupied with thinking so hard about so many things that make us worry all the

Multitasking accompanied by overthinking can cost more than just your time.

Doing one task at a time may take effort and energy but it can benefit you personally and professionally.

Try focusing on one task at a time; we get more done when we slow down!

I also do not like multitasking and refrain myself from doing it, by the way Jen I think you should have written "To wean off yourself from..." rather than "to wean yourself from..."

One task at a time is always the best as it wouldn't make you over stressed. I have also come to understand that when you keep multitasking, you won't focus but be distracted. So, it's better for one to make a plan early in the morning and start working on them one by one.

One task at a time is so wise. Just like creating algorithm and solving it part by part until everything is done. Multitasking causes delay to humans. It means busy doing nothing. Thanks

Yong parang di kana natapos mag aral ng mag aral tapos more paperworks to face pa aguyy. But yeah, doing jt all one at a time is bot bad. Iwas stress and tingin ko mas mapayapa ang lahat kapag ganyan.

Multitasking is tiring, so what you did is really right, to focus at a single task, one by one, so that you can produce a quality output.

Multi tasking is risky, it may cause us much stress and even in effective.
