No matter how difficult it is, the things that may be experienced will still bring joy in the end for as long as the journey traveled is not wasted.

A genuine friend is enthusiastic about walking with you along the rough way. They will take your hand, pull you up when you feel so down, and help you endure and surpass those obstacles. They will stay right beside you even during the darkest days of your life. A friend that stays through struggles and triumphs. Willing to make you happy when things may seem to feel odd.
