Trio Bonding

Isn't it amazing how a talk with our friends can cure us from the emotional pain that we've been carrying? We've been hurt and wounded for how many weeks/months, and just a good conversation with our genuine pals make everything straight again.

I've been away for almost three days already since I am so caught up with my work and it really does require my full attention and focus since I am building from the scratch. And still trying to figure out how can I enable to make things work in accordance to my boss' goals or expectations with his brand.

Please don't get me wrong, I am glad that I have this job, yet I can't also stop myself but be consumed of weariness since he wants me to do a lot of things in just a couple of days. I mean, running or managing social media isn't easy. So yeah, I am so overwhelmed with all the tasks and responsibilities and felt like I am about to explode already.

That's why, I am so grateful with the bonding that I had with my girlfriends yesterday. We went to several places in the city and really made the best used of time. Actually, we already planned this out last March, but since everyone is too busy attending our own responsibilities and endeavors, the plan always gets cancelled and moved. I even thought that yesterday would be just another almost-catch-up day with each other but fortunately, we were able to push it through and I must say that we really had an amazing time with each other's company.

Well, the reason why it almost got cancelled was because me and my other girlfriend ran out of resources and we have nothing to spend or even go to the city. However, we are just too blessed to have a very generous friend who never minds to spend money and treat us. Well, I felt a bit embarrassed but she insisted and told that she really wants to treat us for two major reasons.

First, that serves as her graduation gift for me since I just graduated this month and she really wants to treat me and celebrate my success.

Second, she tagged along our other friend since she's about to be one with her fiancé this coming August 20 and we wanted to have quality time together before it will happen.

We went to one of the famous Milktea Shop in Davao specifically for Christians which is the ChristianiTea. Nonetheless, we got disappointed with the customer service and set-up of the place. The last time we went there was 3 years ago already and it was better back then now. Instead of upgrading, the shop is downgrading. The place were too dull and boring for us since we expect more from them. Also, the foods didn't taste good.

That is the reason why we decided to transfer and since it's already getting darker, they decided to have a heavy meal which is unli-chicken wings and there, I almost faint because of too much eating HAHAH. Gluttony at its finest. Lol.

The place is so welcoming. Simple yet elegant design of interiors and one of the things that I love the most about them is their customer service. The crew were so accommodating and approachable. Whenever they get our orders, they always have wear their sweetest smiles and gentle voice.

We spent our time chitchatting and updating each other's lives. We decided to go home at exactly 9 pm. Although, I didn't went home last night and stayed with my friend's crib since it's already late and I wanted to spend more time with her. On the other hand, Ariane, went home since her fiancé is waiting for her.

For those of you who got confused, the girl with black hair is me, the girl with chocolate brown here is Ariane and the blonde one is Jehan. She's the boss of the group AHHAHA.

Indeed, a spent time with friends is a time well spent.
