“They are just dogs/cats”
“They don’t have that value compared to us.”
“You are just wasting your money on them.”
“They won’t help you in the future.”
Those were just few of the statements that I constantly hear from the people around me. Growing up, I am certain that I’ve already spilled here my fondness towards animals, particularly the domesticated ones. Having a soft heart toward their kinds is already in my blood since most of my family is animal lovers. With that being spoken, we can’t also deny the painful reality that escaping from the judgmental mind of the Mariteses (people who always tamper with other people’s lives.), is far from the impossible.
For them, they are just mere dogs/cats. But in my heart, they are more than that. They are my escape from this chaotic and agonizing world. They give me the bliss that nobody can give to me. The comfort that they provide whenever I am drowning with the deepness of my thoughts is incomparable. They aren’t just my pets, they are my babies. And just like what I always say, I will do whatever it takes just to give them the love that they deserve, spoiled them with treats and care.
Please forgive me for being too emotional, am just happy today. I was awakened by small cries of puppies. I thought I was just dreaming but when I checked our pregnant dog, I saw two white puppies beside her while she’s still giving birthday to another puppy. I was mesmerized by what I saw. I mean, it wasn’t my first time to witness such scenes but it never fail to leave me in awe.
I saw how she carefully licked her babies to clean them up and then gave birth after few minutes. I was still so sleepy and I decided to get a cup of coffee and opened my noise.cash account to share what happened. After few minutes, I decided to check Jamjam (my dog) again. To my surprise, she already has a total of five puppies beside her. I thought another one would come out, but I was wrong. Thankfully, she was able to deliver five healthy puppies and I am so proud of her. Yes, I am a proud furmama her.
However, as much as I wanted to keep them all, it’s already too many of them. And knowing my current financial status as of now, I am still a student who does several side hustles just to sustain the family’s needs. Therefore, we have decided that when they turn two months old, we will rehome them. Of course, I would choose people who truly love animals and are capable to give them the life that they deserve.
Anyways, aside from Jamjam, another part of my paw family also gave birth last February 13, 2022. Her name is Kitty and she successfully delivered 2 black healthy kittens. Too many mouth to feed but I will try my best to take good care of them all.
Having pets is never easy. It takes time, effort, love, and enough resources for you to be able to care for them. It’s like having a kid at home. You are the one responsible with everything that would happen to them. Having a pet is big responsibility. Before you adopt, make sure that you really have hearts towards them.
Great dear.. innocent your paws are you really sweet..keep well
