Whatever you call it, people need that colored valued-paper.
Some says that money can't buy happiness. Well, when I was younger, I used to think that way too. However, now that I am an adult, I have realized that money can't still buy us real happiness, but it somehow gives people a temporary pleasure. Whether we admit it or not, money plays a very vital role to everybody's life.
Growing up, I have seen how the people around me struggled and fight over the little amount of money. They will do everything they can, just to earn few bucks in order to feed their family.
Money can't buy everything.
It's true. There are things that even the wealthiest people can't afford. At least before.
As I grow older, the world is changing rapidly. The things we thought that cannot be purchase by this thing called "money", are now possible.
Don't believe me? Well then, let's take FRIENDSHIP as an example.
Explain to me why most people will only treat you as their friend if you have this thing?
RESPECT
I've seen how people gives you respect according to your living status and income.
LIFE
People who kills innocent ones and just let the money work, for them to be free and not be counted as responsible to their immoral acts.

Money may not be everything. But we cannot deny the fact that people who have bigger amount of this asset can do everything they wanted.
In today's era, money rules the world. If you don't have it, you have no value to their sight. It's so rare to find people who will still value you even if you have nothing to give to them.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.
Money isn't the root of evil, it is the LOVE of money. The moment you started to make this thing as your master, you will no longer know yourself. Don't let anyone or anything control you. Remember that you are the one incharge of your own life.
Money doesn't change people, it reveals them.
Over time, I have witnessed how people change because of it. However, I have realized that those people doesn't really change at all. The money just revealed their true colors. Therefore, don't be surprise if the person you dearly know suddenly became unrecognizable when they acquired big amount of money. They didn't change, that's just exactly who they are.

Author's Viewpoint
As for me, money is really important. In fact, we need it to survive. We need it to buy foods and other necessities. Well, money allows me to have the things that I want. It somehow gives me a temporary joy.
However, money isn't everything. It can't give us real friendship, real respect and most of all real happiness. I know a lot of wealthy people but still not happy and contented with their life. They are looking for something that will satisfy their longings and emptiness.
Life is more than the material things. If we will just teach ourselves to appreciate small things and be contented with what we have. Then I guess, we will all live happily.
Don't exchange your loved ones, with the the temporary material possessions.
Money is essential in the things it is used for. We all need it one way or another. I love money but it's a good love I guess :)
