That is exactly the problem why we're doing this. I don't mean it as an offense to you, but lot of people thought we're hiring every user without any screening. If you are good with words - there are tons of publications that will pay you top dollars for that. Like, really, look for jobs sections at any top blog - send them your samples - you'll get work paying maybe $50 to $1000 per article, because they are established businesses with good budgets. read.cash can't afford that. People are publishing 1000+ articles per day and we have a budget of $70/day (even less if sponsors leave), so each article at best can get $0.07 and there's a neverending race to the bottom - people are publishing more and more and more, so the pay will be less and less and less anyway. Don't write on read.cash because you might get paid - write because you like writing. Any rewards given at random are just that - random rewards. If you want a job - I seriously advice you to look through the jobs sections at top blogs.
I have been one of your biggest supporters and i STILL think this platform is promising...But this is the worst update you have ever done. I've earned from this platform varied amounts from 2 dollars a day to just few cents. Ive never complained about that and actually i even told people to be patient because it's still just the beginning and, like you said, this can't be considered as real job for now. But why you went from fighting spamming and rule abusers to fighting every user including content makers? spending hours in searching and typing to just get rewarded based on pure luck isn't fair at all! and why not just reduce the points you get from comments instead of getting no points? I know the fund is vey small...So why dont you start an advertising plan to earn more money? this will be a good idea! In the end i just hope that the update won't be the reason why read.cash dies...
Nice! This update is better, at least everyone should really exert effort to write "QUALITY" content. There are lots of people here who spams or publishes trash and irrelevant articles just for the sake of points or worst, they steal other people's work!
Good update, I was getting tired of all the spam. Hopefully the majority of the spammers will leave the site now and real content writers will be left. To all those that think this is a bad update, personally, I never cared about the point system since it gave a very low amount anyways. Tips is where the better income is at and now with the point system handicapped, you should just work on writing better articles that get tipped.

So sad for this new rules. It's random . And how about the effort of some good writer if they are not choose from random rewards? What will happen? I'm still hoping for another updates that cannot affect to all good writer..., Because earlier I saw some articles that contains only jumbled letter and guess it's acceptable and earn point oh wow..
Content is king and up until now the generosity of read.cash has attracted low quality content providers and spammer. If allowed to continue this parasitical affliction will lead to the death of a useful and valuable resource. We may now all have to work a little bit harder to ensure that we are offering quality content but this is normal and the way things should be. Thank you read.cash for continuing to safeguard this community.

Too tired to break this down. No points for commenting: 👍🏻 should have been done long time ago. Complicating the system so much that no-one would even know anymore what to do: 👎🏻 sincerely would be better not rewards at all and back to square one. Always said rewards should be given by traffic generated by an article. *Simplicity over complexity. Wins every time.* But oh well, effectively taking the fun out of writing here.
If the publications will now be sent to featured communities for points, at what point will communities that failed to get featured be eligible for featured status if the posts are no longer for this community?
I don't just understand the rules .. It is not your fault though .. It is the situation the people kept in that is what is bringing in so much rules . All the same kudos for your great work

I gave up posting because of the last set of changes. Now I have no reason to even log in and look for stuff to read. This place went downhill fast. Just became another steemit with power users having all the say. All you need to do now is give them the power to censor too and the journey to the dark side will be complete.
Hopefully this change will clean up the low quality articles and allow room for the better submissions to get some deserved recognition

So does it mean the more you write articles the more your points increase?
The amount should depend on quality of the post....if there are good posts in the community... the matter will be solved and make report system so that anybody can't post or comment appropiate things..... but looking at the system.........the money is too low... if the posts are filtered out.... there will be less post good posts will get the desired amount.... but it will be unfair if a good post doesn't get the appropiate value... and how do you judge a post? by like and comments and if there is no pointa for like and comment... people won't do it.... then good posts will get less like comment and will be underrated..... problem was with the moderators they approved inappropiate things..... and start report and ban system... the inappropiate post and comments will be gone.... but in this system....some dedicated people will lose their interest if they don't get proper value....
