A Boy or A Girl? A child is a child whether BOY OR GIRL. A child is gift from God,they are replacement,they are the complete cycle of human race,they are the joy of the world. When your is pregnant, your first duty is to thank God for the favour given to you because there are lots of people out their striving hard to get that favour you got for free,So be thankful. Is Change constant? Change is constant but some people didn't believed this not because they didn't undergo the process, but they didn't see it happened. Take for example, when we the higher animal were at infant stage,there are some cycle to undergo. At first, all we knew was food. After months of feeding, our bones are activated and are ready to crawl. From crawling to standing and from standing to walking then talking. This is the unseen changes in human-being,you don't get to witness this only you will be told. The seen ones are the one that we ourselves witness. Examples are: Night and Day, Moon and Sun. Pregnancy is also a good example of change,from Sperm to blood,blood to meat then the meat take the shape of a baby. God's will is different from the normal changes that happens day-in day-out. WHAT ARE BLACK DIAMOND Diamonds are mineral composed of carbon. Coal is a mineral with carbon in its composition. It is also black in colour and so came to be known as BLACK DIAMONDS. More than 300 million years ago in the Carboniferous period of the Earth, plants appeared then over the years partially decayed. As they lost moisture they gained more and more carbon until they hardened into layers of rock. This was coal. When it was discovered as far back as Roman times, the coal burned were mined and use as fuel. What happens when we breathe If you cover a fire and cut off the air supply, the fire cannot burn. It needs air to burn . in the same way , we need the oxygen which is in air to burn up the food we have eaten and turn it into energy. We get this oxygen through our lungs. We take in aur through our nose and mouth. It passes down our windpipe into our lungs. There,the air passages become smaller until the smallest passage ways end in tiny air sacs called aveoli. In this aveoli, the oxygen from the air is taken into our bloodstream. At the same time the waste product of the body's processes carbon dioxide is passed back into the aveoli and from there it travels to the lungs to be breathed out as used air. All this takes place in less than a seconds!. How do fish breathe? When we breathe , we draw air into our lungs and take from it the oxygen we need in order to remain alive. Like other animals, fish need oxygen in order to live but a fish gets its supply of oxygen not from the air but from the watar in which it swim. It takes watar into its mouth. Then it closes its mouth and squeezes the watar over it gills. There are feathery pieces of tissue on each side of its throat and they are full of tiny blood vessels. Just as our lungs take oxygen out of the air so the gills take oxygen out of the watar. And just as with us, so the waste carbon dioxide is passed back through the gills and the used watar then flows out through the fish's gill slits. The Respiratory system

I lost my tongue, I even lost my feeling but I can still hear.I can hear my loved ones crying in pain. I am not dead yet but I am almost lifeless. The angel of death does the final act and takes my soul with an intensive gesture. I have now left this world. All my wealth, cars, properties, bank balances, contacts and connections are useless. My identity is my grave and I am called "corpse".my relatives are preparing my grave and some of them think that it is improper to keep the corpse inside the house for too long. The house I built and lived in is shrinking in space for me. My bath is being prepared. I left the enclosure for the last bath.my bathroom with expensive bath fittings is not for me now. I am wrapped in the white cotton shroud. I am locked in a wooden box to travel to my grave. My expensive car is not for me now. Why then have I amassed so many worthless things? Why did I lie to gain unnecessary wealth? It is of no use to me.woe to me because I wasted my life in vain. I forgot that my last trip is near and certain. Why did I sin so much? Oh! I lost my game. When the corpse is wrapped, this man between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.when after the burial, people come back home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special angels), come to the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they can be able to question the died privately on his Faith. But the handsome man said, "He is my companion, he is my friend. I won't leave him alone anyway.if you are appointed for an interrogation, do your work ... I cannot leave him until I have admitted him to Paradise. Thereafter, he turns to his dead companion and says: "I am the Koran, which you are used to reading, sometimes aloud and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief ...When the interrogation is finished, the handsome man arranges for him al-Mala'ul A'laa (angels in the sky) silk bedding filled with musk. Rasulullah (صل الله عليه وسلم) said: "On the Day of Judgment, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have greater status than the Koran, neither a Prophet nor an angel". Please continue to transmit this 'Hadith' to everyone ....because Rasulullah (صل الله عليه وسلم) says: "Pass knowledge even if it is only one verse". Taking a stab at the first, those are the type of protocols against man's behavioral expositions that radiate perhaps majorly within the evil heart desires. They are probable of being complicit than commendable. The reason man could easily profess them whereas he might be wary of putting them in practice. The tempting processes are not easily prone to resistance on the side of man. It is said, there's virtually no one in the gloom of what an evil is. A policing agent in the body is one's conscience. The battle with which is always tough when the handiworks are far from purity. However, saying without acting upon a certain conceived phenomenon or ideology is worst than futility. Why ye do not that which you preach? Easily done than said are those actions revolving around what deprives man of free attitude and free minds. You know them yourself. There is virtually a sheer difference between these two. A close examination would lead to a submission that unfortunately, man whirls in the realm of unwarranted and unwholesome disposition. It's always very hard for him to scale through, as the internal, environment and spiritual backings to these effects are overwhelming than his capacity. It's when he chose to live a righteous life that he shakes it off, perhaps, in a bit. It's not easy to feel free at ease. The reason then was simple. Although I was having an affair but the major one being that she was dirty and rude. There was nobody she didn’t report me to. I expected that she would be after years of begging me to share her bed. She actually stopped begging me to have sex with her in January this year. At first I didn’t bother but when it persisted, I told a friend of mine who was so certain that she was having an affair.I asked her if she was sleeping with another man behind me, she denied it but asked if I had the right to ask her such a question anymore.I ignored her but made up my mind to investigate. There was nothing to suggest she was. Besides, I thought she wouldn’t have the guts to cheat on me because I married her as a village girl and a virgin. She lacked the sophistication of the city woman which was part of the problem we were having. But about two weeks ago, by accident, I had gone to see my boss along Adeniyi Jones in Ikeja when I decided to stop over to eat at a local restaurant around that area. The setting was very formal and neat. I was still waiting for my order to be served when my wife walked in with this man who looked very much like a very top manager in a company. They drove into the place with this latest Toyota Camry.She didn’t notice me at first but I made sure she did when I walked up to her to demand what she was doing with another man in a public place.She didn’t bother to answer me; instead they got up and left me standing. By the time I got home, she was already home, packed and ready to leave. She didn’t bother to deny that she and the man I met her with were dating. She told me the man was ready to marry her and that as soon as her people refunded the bride price I paid on her, she would marry the man. I didn’t even know she was in school, University of Lagos and in her third year. She also has a flourishing shop, a fashion outfit near her school. She said, it was only in January this year, she agreed to date the man I met her with even though he had been disturbing her since he rescued her from a suicide attempt three years ago. According to her, he helped her gain admission into the University of Lagos to get her mind off her matrimonial challenges and got her the shop to give her financial independence. She said, since she has made up her mind to be intimate with this other man, she no longer has any space in her heart for me.I found out all these from her in the process of explaining to my friends how far apart we had grown. Please, I have realised I don’t want her to go and I’m ready to do anything to ensure we live as husband and wife again. I have since discharged the woman in my life and has been pleading with her to have a change of mind but she insists she is fed up.My parents, especially my father blames me for whatever decision she has made concerning our marriage. I know I wronged her but I have suddenly realised that she means so much to me. How do I get her back?

Your future Spouse can't be stolen You don't need to fight over a Muslimah. Friends have turned foes just because of a sister. You don't need to have sleepless night over that sister, your future spouse has been decreed long before you were created, she won't be given to another man. Know that, even if 500 suitors precede you to her, she would still reject all of them, until it gets to your turn. Don't smell what you can't eat, the cost of food stuff and pampers in the market is not funny. Stop tying them down with prolonged relationships, when you are not even prepared to get married. You only proposed to her because you don't want another suitor to beat you to her, yet the shortage will still be yours at last. Your prolonged Khitbah with her has cost you; lots of airtime, lots of Hijab gifts, lots of sallah clothes, you even bought her an expensive phone and you paid some of her school fees... at long last she might still leave you for another man for a very flimsy reason, while you are weeping about the heartbreak, she might be enjoying her honeymoon under the roof of a sharp man who was ready for marriage. Marriage is no joke, it's a commitment. If you are not ready for it, don't stress yourself. If a sister should even propose, reject it, she doesn't know your pocket size before proposing, but you know your own pocket. You aren't more merciful to people than the Rasul, yet He turned down proposals too. When Umar offered his daughter to Uthman, he replied: ﺳَﺄَﻧْﻈُﺮُ ﻓِﻲ ﺃَﻣْﺮِﻱ (I will think about it). After some days, he humbly declined Umar's offer by saying: ﻣَﺎ ﺃُﺭِﻳﺪُ ﺃَﻥْ ﺃَﺗَﺰَﻭَّﺝَ ﻳَﻮْﻣِﻲ ﻫَﺬَﺍ (I don't want to get married for now). You see that sister who makes MashaAllah posts on Facebook, as enticing as her Facebook name is, and as cute as the cat pictures on her DP looks, don't go to her inbox and don't seek for her what'sapp number. If she is yours, Allah will block every other suitor from her until you are ready, even if you will only be ready in 10 years time. So live a simple and chaste life, and don't give yourself heart attack over any Facebook sister. The Arabs do say: ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎﻥ ﻣﻘﺪﺭﺍ ﻟﻚ ﺳﻴﺄﺗﻴﻚ ﻭﻟﻮ ﻛﺎﻥ ﺑﻴﻦ ﺟﺒﻠﻴﻦ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻟﻢ ﻳﻜﻦ ﻣﻘﺪﺭﺍ ﻟﻚ ﻟﻦ ﻳﺄﺗﻴﻚ ﻭﻟﻮ ﻛﺎﻥ ﺑﻴﻦ ﺷﻔﺘﻴﻚ (What is destined for you will reach you even if it's beneath two mountains, and what is not destined for you will never belong to you, even if it's already between your two lips) May Allah grant us patience and Tawwakul, ameen.

What you should know about marriage Don't rush yourself in to marriage because as you garbage in you can garbage out. Most times when a marriage is in trouble, people tend to see their Marriage as a mistake rather than seeing the mistakes they are making in their marriage. At this point they regret marrying their wife or husband, begin to think of a new partner, imagine marrying their ex or fantasizing a marrriagphlhle without issues. Some even divorce or remarry and later wish they had remained with their first Spouse, as they find greater trouble in the new spouse. This is because the first marriage was not a mistake, and the mistake has not been discovered yet. So you can remarry as many times as you like, you will still experience problems in marrriage until you discover the mistakes you are making in your marrriage and correct them. So divorce or separation is not a solution to consider when you are having problems with your marrriage. When your car has a flat tyre, you do not abandon it, but change the tyre and move on. When we have a headache, no matter how excruciating, we do not cut off the head but take care of the headache. When a bulb blows out in the room we do not change the room or the house, we replace the bulb and light up the room. When we have challenges at work, we do not refuse to go to work, we go there to solve the problems. So when marriage has an issue, we don't have to try to change the spouse instead of changing the attitude that is creating the problem. Most times when we see some couples enjoying their marriages and enjoying each other to the fullest, we admire and cherish them, but the opposite is seen in our own marriage. The reason is that some people have worked on their marriage by paying the necessary price and that is why they are enjoying the fruits of their labour. It is said, “The way you make your bed is the way you will lie on it”. Your marriage is as good or as sweet as you make it. Some couples, because of the negative things they are seeing in their marriage, accuse each other of being irresponsible. They point accusing fingers at each other for being irresponsible. Some even say many bad things about their spouse, even calling him or her names; some think that marrying that man or that woman was a mistake. It is not so, your marriage was not a mistake, but you are the mistake. Your habit is the mistake Your character is the mistake Your manner, anger, unforgiveness, laziness, lack of love, lack of affection, lack of attention, impatience, bitterness, selfishness, ignorance, stinginess, not being considerate, infidelity and lovelessness are the mistakes. Talking about bitterness. Some still dream of a marriage with their ex seeing your spouse as a stumbling block. Wake up to the smell of coffee. Be content with your spouse. Benefit of Sujudu-Shukur There are many benefit hidden in Islam. The only way to reveal it is by seeking knowledge. SUJUD-SHUKUR is one of it. Sujudush Shukr is like a treasure in this world and al ākhira. This information is worth gold, the benefits of doing Sajdatul Shukr. Most of us miss these benefits and we don't know how much it's worth. When we do Sajdatul Shukr, Allah opens the hijaab between us and the Angels . He says to the Angels, look at my slave, he did his fardh and obeyed My teachings and he did Sujuud to thank Me for what I've blessed him with. Oh My Angels what should he get? The Angels will reply, Ya Rabana give him Your mercy. Then Allah will ask again, and what else? The Angels will reply, Ya Rabana give him Your heaven. Then Allah will ask again, and what else? The Angels will reply, Ya Rabana make his worries end. Then Allah Taala will ask what else? Everytime Allah asks n what else, the Angels will reply, something good. Lastly the Angels will reply, Ya Rabana we have no knowledge. Then Allah will say, ' I'll thank him the way he thanked Me, I'll give him My favour and show him My mercy'. What harm do we get if we do Sajdatul Shukr everyday? It's just a sajda and not a salaat. whenever you r blessed with any good or any harm being removed, You can do it with or without wudu'; facing alqibla or not. But it's best with wudu' and facing the alqibla. During Sajdatul Shukr say what you say in the prostration during salat. Do not let this chance get away from you. Do your part as i have done mine by letting those who ain't aware be aware; everytime they do this sujda you'll get reward (ajr). Even after you've died it'll be sadaqatul jariya. O Allah, make it sadaqatul jariya for me, my parents, my family, all those who'll share it and all Muslims. Ameen.

Wives and Islam Our Wives hold the most powerful part of every marriage, so treat them with respect. If you want your children to practice Islam easily, then focus on their mother, your wife. Mothers plays greater role in restoring Deen in the home, similar to how they play greater role in destroying Deen in the home. If the Deen of your wife is intact, then be rest assured your children are in a safer hand, and if the Deen of your wife is a modernized Deen, then be rest assured of a tainted Deen in the home. You find out today, most husbands pay less/no attention in maintaining the Deen of their wives. They think Islam is just, 'my wife is wearing hijab'. We don't nurture our wives, we don't teach/are not serious in teaching them Islam. We just concern about wearing same suit materials, going out for Islamic programs, taking selfies posting here and there, wedding anniversaries, for people to know we are really having a good time as couples. How many men today you see are somehow knowledgeable and very careless in impacting that knowledge in their wives?! In the Qur'an Allāh says: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves, and your families from fire whose fuel is people and stones"..... (Quran 66 ayah 6) It has to be the responsibility of the husband to know the daily routine of the wife at home. The children are following the ideology, and the life style of the woman at home. husband and wife is not just about 'bedroom game'. It has to be a commitment where the both of you should strive in attaining the mercy of Allah. The hard core fact here is, if you don't pay attention to the DEEN of your wife, her Worships and learning, then surely your children are going to grow up with twisted mentalities, and you will end up messing your own Deen because Allah is going to hold you to account for that. It is not love if you're really not paving a way for attaining Allah's mercy in the home. Don't just entertain your wife, nurture her too for the benefit of the kids. May Allah grant us spouses that are there to help us in attaining the mercy of Allah Aameen.

Throughout history, honest men who sail the seas have been in danger from pirates. In the days of the ancient Greek and Roman empires, there were pirates in the Mediterranean and much later in the 8th century, the Vikings from Scandinavian spread terror throughout Western Europe with their small ships with dragons heads carved into the prow. The word 'Viking' means 'pirate' or 'sea rover' in the old Norse language. The most famous and colourful pirates of all were the pirates of the Spanish Main who were the scourge of the seas around 450 years ago. The Spanish Main was the name given to the coasts of Central and Southern coasts of North America British, French and Dutch pirates flying their 'skull and crossbones' flag, called the Jolly Roger attacked the heavily laden Spanish ships carrying gold and other treasures from the New World back across the Atlantic to Spain. *BLACKBEARD THE COURAGEOUS PIRATE* Blackbeard was the most bloodthirsty of all pirates who sailed the Spanish Main. His real name was Edward Teach but got his nickname from the black beard that reached almost to his waist. He tied coloured ribbons in it when he was dressed to go ashore but in battle he stuck slow-burning matches in it, as well as under the brim of his hat. He was a very big man and the sight of him as he climbed over the side of a ship, wreathed in smoke cutlass in hand and wearing a belt containing six loaded pistols, must have frightened the defending crews out of their wits. He was killed in 1718 in battle with Lieutenant Robert Maynard of the Royal Navy. Villain though he was ,Blackbeard was courageous to the last, finally fall after receiving not less than twenty-five wounds on his body.

Qur'anic Memorization and it Understanding While I do not want to discourage the memorization of the Qur'an in general, we need to talk about the many Muslims who misunderstand the importance and function of memorizing the Qur'an. First of all, if you want to be a seeker of knowledge or a scholar, then you either must be a hafidh or be working towards being one.The Qur'an is the key to all knowledge. At the very least be consistently working towards it if you are not already one. But if your intention is not to become a seeker of knowledge or a scholar, then it is different. Memorizing the Qur'an is not obligatory, but learning theology, fiqh, tasawwuf, and tajwid to the extent you can recite the Fatihah properly is. If you do not understand enough of Islam to have correct belief, protect yourself from doubts, fulfill obligations in worship and society, avoid sins, and maintain a relationship and connection with Allah then memorizing the Qur'an is a secondary endeavour, and to prioritize it before the others is a serious miscalculation of effort. As for those parents who force their kids into completing hifdh programs, take heed. It is not obligatory for your kid to be hafidh, but it is obligatory for you to impart the aforementioned obligatory Islamic knowledge unto them, whether it be from yourself (if you are learned) or by signing your kid up for classes. If you make your kid memorize the Qur'an but they don't have sufficient knowledge to understand it and contextualize it, they don't receive the necessary tarbiyah to absorb it into their character, they have to go through oppression and suffering at your hands or their teachers' to complete their hifdh, or your intention is corrupt and you are just putting your kid through hell so you can brag about it to your friends, then you are just placing the burden of proof on your child. At any moment they can implode and all that Qur'an in their heart will be a proof against them on the Last Day. And they do implode. There is a reason I'm writing this post. I'm tired of seeing and hearing about huffadh leaving Islam, forgetting all their Qur'an, turning to sin, and grossly misunderstanding the religion. Stop treating the hifdh of the Qur'an like a replacement for a strong Islamic Education. And if it wasn't clear already then reading a translation is not even close to enough. As for the hafidh: Please note that your hifdh has not made you into a seeker of knowledge. You will not truly understand the Qur'an until you learn other Islamic sciences too. Don't be in a rush to teach or do da'wah just because you've done your hifdh. People will praise you and the ignorant will come to you thinking you are a 'Shaykh'. Don't let your nafs fall for it. There is a reason the majority of the fuqaha (The Hanafis, Malikis and Shafiis) preferred the more knowledgeable in fiqh to lead the prayer over the 'most read'. Hifdh without Arabic is pointless. Arabic alone applied to understand the Qur'an without obligatory (and further) knowledge often leads to misguidance. Recitation of the Qur'an without the rules of the Qurra is not giving the Qur'an its due right. At least ensure that you know how to recite the Qur'an well in one riwayah e.g. Hafs. Just like a seeker of knowledge though, mind your intentions. Its a great blessing and act of worship to memorize the Qur'an. Don't do it to be known as the 'qari' or the 'hafidh'. Don't let it all go to waste. Remember, the 'people of the Qur'an' are not necessarily those who have memorized it, they are those who also understand it, are companions of it, understand it and teach it.

Teach your Teenagers the way of God Although in life, there is freedom to almost everything. You got the chance to do whatever you wish, in no one can question you for. This is one of the problem the world is facing today 'Our own wish' neglecting our creators command. I think if we can just follow HIS ways, this world will be a better place for you and me. ●Fornication is not a norm. Even if it has become so common, it is a great sin to God and a disservice to your body. ●Exposing sensitive parts of your body as a lady or dressing recklessly is not a big girl thing. It is foolishness and a sin in the sight of God. Wearing of mad people clothes is not called fashion. It is called indecency and it grieves God. ●Virginity is not a sign of weakness or even sexual malfunction. It is a sign of purity - something to be proud of that you have not been desecrated by the unworthy and filthy. No one should make them feel foolish because of being a virgin. ● That VIRGINITY is a wedding present to your husband not a birthday present to boyfriends. Don't enter your matrimonial home perforated. ●That Virginity should not be just about the sexual organs. The eyes, hands, legs and mind should be virgins too. If these parts get corrupted with immorality, soon the genitals will confirm the corruption. Sexual purity matters. ●Females are not mere objects of sexual gratification. There is more to a woman than her breast and buttocks. ● That the breast God give women is for breastfeeding and not to be used for Facebook likes and comments or to gain more fans. ●Not having a girlfriend does not make you less of a man. It makes you a man with a lot of control. It makes you a rare kind of a man in a world pervaded by immorality. It makes you a superman. ● Not having a boyfriend doesn’t mean you will run mad or something terrible will happen to you. These are traps the devil has used to destroy the destinies of many young people. It is a lie from the pit of hell. No one runs mad because of not having sex. Remain sexually pure. Purity Is Possible!! ●Sex is not one sure way to prove depth of love. If he truly loves you, he will marry you. If he is a real man why does he want the sex but not the responsibility of keeping you? ●Sex is not the solution to your Dysmenorrhea (Menstrual cramps), it is one of those deceits of boys who want to get into your pants! Be wise sweetheart. ● Sperm accumulation has no medical side effect. Your body is equipped to deal with that till you are ready to put them to good use. Don’t use that as a basis of going into fornication. Purity is Possible!! ●Masturbation is not a safe way to understand your sexuality. You will only end up teaching yourself how to please yourself not how someone else should please you. You get addicted to it so much that no one can please you as good as you. It becomes a psychological problem, and it is a sin before God. Don’t get indulge into that. Self control is key. ●Lesbianism is not an option for girls only because men are not looking your direction. It is filthy and a disgusting sin before God. As senseless as animals are, they do not get to such level of mental depravity to be lesbians, why humans? (Please talk to your girls especially about Lesbianism. It is becoming very common, starting as early as in primary schools. ●Homosexuality is not also an option for boys because they think marriage is costly. It is filthy and a disgusting sin before God. What you should know about Birds. A great many bird species are migratory. Despite dangers from storms and drought and the constant attacks of men,millions of birds make twice-yearly journeys that cross continents and oceans. In summer on the continental land masses of the northern hemisphere, there is an abundance of insect food and long hours of daylight for hunting it,vitally important when some young birds eat many times their own weight.Millions of birds are therefore in the northern hemisphere for summer breeding. In winter,they migrate south, having stored up energy for the journey in the form of fat.Some species stay on the wing for up to 120hours at a time.Most birds migrate at heights below 6,500 metres. Experiments have shown that birds use both sun and stars for navigation. *Why do birds have different shape of beaks* A birds beak tells us what kind of environment it lives in and what is inside its stomach. Birds from shallow streams or swamps have long delicate beaks for probing in mub and shingle. Other aquatic birds have spoon-shaped beaks for grovelling in muddy water. Swans and flamingos have long necks for exploring deeper water. Seabirds like the albatross have tweezer like beaks for catching slippery fish. Pelicans plunge their beaks into water and scoop up their catch in a pouched lower part. Carnivorous bird like eagles and vultures,have hooked upper beaks,ideal for hooking onto and tearing pieces off their prey. Toucans' beaks have serrated edges for cracking open nuts and the crossbills lower jaw moves sideways to enable it to extract seeds from pinecones. All living things need food and evolution has ensured that birds are well equipped to get their share. *THE ARCTIC TERN* An Arctic tern spends most of its life in daylight, although it has to travel about 22,000 miles in a year in order to do so. This species has a short breeding season in places like north Greenland within the Arctic Circle, where the long hours of summer daylight give it ample time to feed on the abundant supply of fish. Then, the Arctic terns take one of two routes south, either passing down the east coast if North and south America or down the west coasts of Europe and Africa. They winter in the waters below south Africa around the Antarctic circle. Arctic terns probably see more daylight than any other living animal. *THE HUMMINGBIRDS* The supreme artists in the bird world are Hummingbirds. They can hover like helicopters,move straight up,down or sideways and they can fly backwards because their movements are too rapid for the eye to follow. It was long believed that their backward flight was an optical illusion. It was not until they were filmed with an incredibly fast, stroboscopic camera that it was proved beyond doubt that hummingbirds can fly backwards. They beat their wings faster that any other bird and the name 'hummingbird' comes from the noise made by their wings as they vibrate at 200 beats per second. One species, the broad tailed hummingbird actually takes flight before it leaves its perch. The camera shows that it pulls its perch up with its feet before it let's go.
