A real woman wouldn't allow her children to be hurt. They will always stand by them no matter the situation. They discomfort themselves to make their children comfortable. They ignore the pain and endure it just to make their children happy. Aside from God's love, mother's love is so great. As a mother, will you be looking at your child feeling sad or dying?
A BEAUTIFUL STORY
There was a woman who had just one child. She had trained him so hard to be educated. This boy was sick one-day and he was at the point of dying, the woman tried all she could do. She wasn't a Christian and do not believe in God. She went to meet her friend for help. She was glad to help her out.
"By tonight, we would go somewhere and your son will be fine". The woman's friend said to her. She gave her something to eat at 1am and she would find herself there. Still confused but she already decided to save her only son from dying. At exactly 1am, she did accordingly and suddenly she met herself in the midst of women clothed in black attires. The leader of the group was welcoming everyone as each of them kept appearing into the meeting.
The woman was startled at what she was seeing but her friend assured her nothing is going to happen. She couldn't believe herself in the midst of witches. But she needed to save her son. She would do anything, she said to herself.
Leader: Woman, what did you just say? The leader asked
The Woman: What? I didn't say anything.
Leader: Really? But you just said you will do anything to save your son.
The Woman: (In shock) she was shaking and her mouth was moving slowly and she just shouted "Yes, I said it"
Leader: Alright, we would help you, only if you will dance to our tune.
The Woman: I promise to obey your instructions, please save my son.
Everyone echoed and said a slogan thrice
"We are the great women of the world. We are unquestionable, no one dares our existence. We own the world".
They all kept laughing until the leader told them to stop.
They truly helped the woman and her son was back to his feet again. She was so happy and life continued.
After some years, the boy was given scholarship to go study abroad. After his education, he stayed overseas as he was retained in a big company. He would always call his mother to ask of her welfare. Many times, he would send money to his mother. The woman was happy for his son.
Few months after working, he was introduced to Christ and immediately he gave his life to Jesus. He started praying and would always wake up at 1am to do his prayer. He has never missed a day.
MEETING WAS SCHEDULED
She received a call from her friend informing her there would be a meeting that night, she should get prepared.
She went to meeting and it was time to pay her due, it's time for her own sacrifice.
Woman, you know we have really helped you and you have also benefited from this group. It's your turn and you know what to do.
Sacrifice your son as this is what we want from you. At least you already enjoyed your son's wealth. We have given to you and you should give back to us. These are words from the leader.
Surprised at all she had said, sacrifice my only son? Her eyes were widely opened in amazement. But you all know I have no other child except this one. How do you want me to survive if I give this one to you?
Every member stared at themselves and were starting to get furious.
She turned to her friend, "Did you sacrificed your children?" But you told me they died because of some diseases money cannot cure. You actually killed them. Are you a mother like this?
Hey woman, watch your tongue "said another member of the group". Don't act as an ingrate. I could remember the other day you said you will do anything to save your son. You even opened this mouth and promised this great group to obey our instructions. Now you have to do what you confessed with your mouth.
I can't do this. He is my Son!
Woman, I had six children and it was this group that helped me cared for them when their father left me alone to cater for them. Life was unbearable for me and I toiled day and night to feed them. It was when I was roaming around finding means to survive with my children, I met the leader. She promised to make me wealthy which I obliged immediately. Who wouldn't want to be rich? No one ever prayed to suffer and be in poverty. I have killed all my children for me to live in wealth.
You are a stupid woman! She retorted.
You killed all your children for wealth?
Stop this, I married again after some years and I have two beautiful kids now. No more sacrifice since then and I am enjoying my wealth and my family are doing fine. You too would enjoy this moment. You will remarry again.
At this age? What makes you think I want to marry again? That is my only son and I am not ready to sacrifice him. Do you think it is easy to start all over again?
(She turned to face the leader) I will not and will never do this. I know you have helped me but can't you just give freely?
Freely you say? We don't give and forget here. We give to take back and you must give us what we want or else.....
Or else what? Tell me!
