She made a wrong choice.
“There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.”
I watched a movie two days ago that made me sad. I felt pity for the protagonist, and the question that kept coming into my mind was why she would allow herself to be controlled? One reason was love. When you are in love, there is no limit to being controlled by your partner and it makes you look so foolish dancing to their tunes.
They say love is blind but in this era, one should open both eyes not to be deceived and thrown into the sea for the big fishes and whales to eat you up.
It pained me how she ended up her life and career because she allowed a guy she just met for the first time, to take advantage of her and the dying career she was in for. The movie didn't end well too because the guy in question should have been arrested and dealt with.
The title of the movie is “No limit” but I am sorry because I will be spoiling the movie for those who would want to watch it, but you can still go ahead because I won't be touching all parts of the scenes.
The movie is a romantic one and I love the part where they practiced different styles in bed and that made me learn some new styles too. Lol
The girl gave up her college to be a professional diver who could dive into the sea with no limit. Her goal was to be famous for it, and perhaps tried killing herself because to her, she wanted to commit suicide to go meet her father in heaven.
Her father committed suicide due to one reason when she was little and it kept bringing different questions as to why her dad killed himself. Why did he choose to live his family behind? She tried committing suicide one day when she was young but her grandfather met her on the spot and made her see a reason to become what her father didn't become.
She saw a poster of a free diving and she left home without informing her mother where she was going. It was until she got there, that she called and informed her mother of her mission and how she already met the man of her dream.
On getting to the camp, she met one of the instructors who fell in love with her but couldn't say it even when she knew about it. Instead of having a relationship with him, she chose the guy who had a record of being the best and most famous diver who would become the next champion in the big competition coming up later.
They both made love many times but this guy was cheating on her. She had plans of getting married to him and having children but it was obvious the guy only wanted to use her in becoming the next champion, and when he couldn't achieve it, he killed her in a planned way where nobody suspected him.
It was only the first guy who knew about it, but it was late when he got to know his aim. He couldn't provide evidence to the police and so, he went scot-free. The guy cried so hard losing the girl he loved so much.
I cried for the girl too because she never heeded her mom's advice when she told her to come back home and continue her studies but she refused, saying she wanted to have a new life with her guy.
The said guy controlled her but I was pained because she couldn't stop herself from him even after knowing he was cheating on her. The guy deceived her until she died.
One thing I learnt in the movie is that you should never allow anyone to deceive or control you for their gain or pleasure even when it's obvious what their plans are.
The girl explained to the first guy how she made the wrong choice of choosing the other guy over him even when she knew he liked her. Perhaps she could have been with this guy if she had left the cheater on time and wouldn't have died.
Do not let love blindfold you not to see what is happening. She caught him cheating but still allowed herself to be hooked up with him. Maybe I shouldn't blame her though or what do you think?
I haven't spoiled the movie and you can still watch and find out yourself if she is to be blamed or not? And was that how the movie should have ended without getting to know who killed her except for the first guy, but there is no evidence.
Thanks for your time.

Oh I felt sad with the story. The dreams of that lady over power her to the point that she even disobeyed her mother, never gave chance to that first guy who love him and choose that guy who never love her but instead just using her and lastly killed her. How sad.
We need to choose not what's best for us but we need to choose what is right.
